Toyota has really perfected the hybrid powertrain, stepped it up to the next level with these iMax systems. Imagine if all cars/trucks had this setup, better than trying to go all EV
I think they nailed the looks inside and out. I like to see some of the cheaper trims. After all, they sell more SR5 and TRD sport and offroads than any other trims. That engine area sure is messy though.
Similar to 2002 trailblazer when it came out, I bought one new, 22 years later and 560,000 miles ,Chevy didn’t think it was the answer, shape a car like it and overprice it and call it the traverse, Bravo Toyota..
Needed to move the backseat reward 6 inches for comfort. It would not hace cut into csrgo capacity that much but vast improvement for backseat comfort.
On the 5th gen limited my biggest complaint was 3rd row air conditioning outlets, none available. i watched many 6th gen reviews so far and i don't see them being added, here in Florida we need more air conditioning for the 3rd row seating.
I like the Trailhunter and TRD Pro. I like the idea of more horsepower and torque. I like the new rugged design. However I wished Toyota made turbo 4 cylinder standard and V6 optional, similar to how the Tacoma used 4 cylinder standard and V6 optional. Forced induction (which the turbo is) puts strain or stress on the engine internals; opposed to naturally aspirated, which the V6 was. Maybe Toyota has figured to beef up the internals, while saving on fuel, but I'm skeptical. Hopefully Toyota goes back to naturally aspirated.
Yes, it's the only Cruiser we have right now in North America. In other markets it's sold as the LC 250/Prado. Basically it's a content variation clone of the Lexus GX.
Oh quit whining don’t judge a book by its cover this is a Toyota you don’t think they’ve lost their mind do you? Indeed they spent decades building a quality reputation. Sure the first year will have some teething problems but that’s a common thread amongst any other manufacture in a new model the first year

don’t like the exterior design at all. Looks like tacoma, rav4, and sequoia had a baby. looks like it had a dent damage to the side rears. prefer classic designs with smooth lines and curves like the old land cruiser. this seems like a lost identity and it will phase out eventually with land cruiser price inching closer to price of 4 runner. keeping my beautiful and reliable 5 gen for good.
Too expensiv, the only people that would buy these are rich people and the ones don't know how to manage money. These things rust. The Pro should be no more then 25k.

I want to see the SR5 as I think it is still the best value 4Runner.

I am keeping V6 4 Runner forever. Please keep it in mind 2.4 liter turbo/hybrid won't last long.

I love everything about it except the Turbo! Can we please get a naturally aspirated motor, PLEASE!!! Good Lord, not everyone wants a turbo.

You are shopping in the wrong aisle if you want a three row,
You'd be better served with Sequoia. The lower roofline of the 4Runner will make the 3rd row for children only.
Looks like they did a good job with it, was hoping the Manual Transmission from the Tacoma might be in it.
