Assembly Review & Repaint -- Legend Hobby/Seagull Models P-47D 'Little Bunny'

- Following up to my first flights video ( • From the Field -- Lege... ), here's my assembly review of the Seagull Models P-47D 'Little Bunny' from Legend Hobby (bit.ly/LegendHobby). This is a really nice looking airplane that is well built and represents the iconic razorback P-47 nicely. The model has a 55" wingspan which makes transporting really easy in a single piece. I wasn't huge on the stock paint scheme and so I did a quick repaint of the airframe which is shown in the video. I also added some 3d printed parts and a bomb drop capability for fun. #P47 #ScaleModel #TheRCGeek

@@Thercgeek Getting more feeling and movement in my left side,doing outpatient rehab twice a week,walking slowly with a cane and starting to get thumb and fingers to open and close,hope not much longer till I can put my Tundra and E-flite F-4 together,not giving up yet on flying the Tundra,but the Phantom will be in the spring,need some good sim time first.I do need to ask you which centerburner to use for the Phantom,think I know but want to make sure.Thank you for asking,stay well !
Amazing detail and really enjoyed here in a little things that you did to it like wet sanding the white. Wish the Tamia stay can were bigger but they do have a great selection of colors.
I hear you on the size of the as sprays, would be nice if they were bigger. They are the best spray paints I’ve ever used though, they are fantastic and I love the authentic colors.

my dad was a crew chief with the Tuskegee Airmen so they flew these things before the P-51s came;
from what pictures i can remember, i’m fairly certain this is a Razorback P-47, which would make it a P-47C model;
P-47D models were the bubble canopy ones;

You probably know there's a few different modes programmable on the E-flite releases. I use the daisy chain where one bomb is dropped with the initial switch action, then the next time the switch is cycled, the second is released. Nice to be able to come around and try hitting the target again.
I’m aware of the capability but haven’t quite sorted out how they work in that way yet.

First . Thank you for the best instructional videos out there.. And im share all our hearts go out to you over the B58! It seems as though All these manufacturers get fixated on certain model designs. Such as D model P51s and razorback P47s. I kitbashed a D model P51 into a B model. It flys /tracks better i think?! Now with ALL The razorback P47s I'm forced to D model one if i want it.. what's your take on this 😅
Maybe I missed it. I was wondering about the all up weight w/6S 5000. Would it easily carry a heavier battery?
I haven’t actually weighed the model. That said, there’s tons of space for larger packs if desired. For the power system, the 5000 provides a good balance of flight time and weight, but there’s space for an 8000mah if desired.

Just purchased this model does anyone know where I can download the engine and air intake and prop nut cover as it really finishes the model off
