in this video project I will make a unique men's ring with a small hidden compartment, I use onyx as the crown, and 925 silver for the ring body, the ring has a beautiful monochrome color which is very suitable for men, just like my previous video adding carved ornaments, I used a winged dragon pattern as a ring body ornament, there are many new techniques that I have never demonstrated before, watch this video until the end to get a satisfying experience and see the hidden beauty of the jewelry making process, thank you so much for watching.

The compartment is interesting and intricate but I really love that dragon relief! (I never knew that liquid sulphur was used as a staining fluid.)

To make it more of a hidden compartment I'd prefer a stealth opening method and internal hinge!

I have sawn silver like this in a vine pattern, and it was really hard work not to break the saw. Super impressed that the artist could do a dragon.

Stunning coke cache ring. That’s all I could think this could be used for. Not at all trying to insult the beautiful artwork. But how else do you use a ring with a container under the stone?
What is the white powder that gets sprinkled in when melting the silver? I see this in sword making videos and have always wondered what it is.. is it flux?
Yes, it's borax flux I believe, he mentioned it in a couple videos.

How long do you wait for the metal to cool before handling it?
No need to wait, after heating/soldering just dip that in mild acid to remove the dirt and oxides after that dip that in normal tap water and you are good to go!
