i watched this before my first BA run last night and retained absolutely nothing from this but it did prepare me to be completely and utterly so confused that i was afraid to do anything unless i was specifically told. so, in that case, this guide fucking rocks and it madr me laugh hysterically.

Great comedic timing for everything! Also just a good guide on how to get through the dungeon, there's so many little things that are great to know going in, but there's so little that can hurt the run and it's nice to let the sprouts know all the little tricks so they can pick it up as they go.
Also saying this as someone who hosts on the NA data centers, it's really cool seeing the differences between all our run strategies and the little things we do differently. Hoping to one day get my EU alt through Eureka to see what it's like over there ^^

Thank you so much! I didn't expect my video to reach people on NA :O thats awesome! I have heard of things from Eurekan NA and JP and how there are slight variations and differences to the strategies implemented for BA but ive never witnessed any of them for myself. Albeit this video only gives a brief glimpse into EU BA but i'm glad it gave you a good idea of what its like!
As for Eureka as a whole I would say its pretty chill here on EU and everyone is quite cooperative and helpful to each other! Though I don't really have anything to compare it to since its the only Eureka I know but that's at-least how I would put it!
Yeah I could only convince them with the mount but once they had it they were out immediately ahahaha. sometimes BA/Eureka is not for everyone and thats ok! :D
@taikiluckycat4968 We don't actually do too many things differently, just a handful of things haha. I'm on a server that's dedicated to stress testing BA, so we probably do things a lil' more recklessly than other data centers might like. Stuff like indom building, how we handle orbs during Ozma, the support adds cheats. We also use a different portal map. But besides that, this feels like a good ol BA run to me ^^

I made a little mistake by not noticing that I had the meteor and dropped it in the middle of our platform,
almost killing everyone there... i still feel bad for getting the mount.
Also, on my server, entering BA is first come, first served. It's a competition to see who gets there first. which I really don't like. ; - ;
I'm glad that helped you! for clarification on Light DC, stabilizers are banned in all runs (cause it messes with the portals locations when they turn from blue to red) the only time they EVER get used is by people in support party to get into BA sooner.
Never feel bad about getting the mount! Being new and making mistakes is completely normal and natural. Most hosts know how to handle problematic situations like that with their call outs anyway (Tank LB on platform X as an example) I fully understand people having complete knowledge about the fight and how far that gets you, But nothing is more valuable than gaining experience from mistakes! :D
Also this is one of many reasons why myself and others work hard on Eureka/BA content, to help people get their shiny ball and fragments for their armour and weapons! Im happy as long as any first timers get their clear & congrats!
Yeah thats usually the problem with first come first serve, its quite unfair to new people who don't have a grasp on how joining runs work yet. On Light we have multiple run types with various ways to join, first come first serve does happen we call these impromptu runs however the standardised type of run you will commonly see is called a "Newbie Run" where the host creates a google doc signup and makes a full 7 party roster using those signups (First timers get priority :D) and then we occasionally host special/unique runs where we create random rules or restrictions to make BA more interesting for veterans and newbies alike! For the veterans only we host "reclear runs" basically no explanations (since you are expected to know the fights) but there is still communication and call outs!

Nope stabs are not needed as it follows the exact same method as when you kill ovni. The joke is that because the blue portals will turn red they will spawn in a different location so the person standing at the blue portal without a stab is wasting their time.
Also just adding this here cause I do get this question a lot in other places (though that's mostly on me for making a joke that will go over First timers heads) First timers are never/rarely put into support so you don't have to bother or worry about it and are always apart of the main group and learn what support is from a spectator view instead. So 99% of players who participate in support have already cleared a BA run and should understand already what's involved but those who do support the first time tend to stand Infront of blue portals waiting for them to turn red thinking it's like when you kill ovni but the positions of blue and red portals are random every time!

Here's a nice recipe for fast leveling in pagos (2-3hours)
Step 1: Find a dead pagos instance with no bunny fate farmers or other players
Step 2: get A friend or someone willing to help with full elemental gear and 2+ magicite on warrior
Step 3: find an elemental and bring high quality potions of harmony (extremely cheap on Market Board) for massive EXP gains.
Recipe: Fate abuse!
Be in the party with friend. They round up all of wolf's and other enemies in the bunny fate. Sync down, warrior go brr (may need a healer if the pulls are HUGE for safety) get tons of EXP until the EXP isn't worth it for your level all the while not actually doing the bunny fate.
Once high enough level you can use this leveling cheese on other fates. Like popping Hakkutaku and instead of killing it you spend the 30 minutes it's up and available to round up as many mobs as possible you repeat this process moving up to higher leveled fates until you reach level 35!
Now you can do any fate and unlock all the aethernet shards and remember to do your Krile quests. Enjoy!

I don't know why you NA and EU noobs need a lecture and call outs every pull. In JP we have macros on where to go. You're supposed to prepare beforehand. The macros is just a reminder. In OCE, we just pull. With bloody 24 people and clear ozma.
