- In all my years of bass fishing, going head-to-head vs. Liz in a bank fishing tournament was by far the most FIERCE competition I've ever experienced!!! Liz is known for her fishing prowess, often times out fishing her husband on outings by catching the biggest bass of the day. There's no question here, if I was to even have a chance of beating Liz I'd need to bring out my A game. I've dueled with many formidable anglers in the past, but this challenge will be one to echo through the ages!

I'll be honest I watch all of them still. not as much being my kids fishing group I watch to learn baits to use and stuff that I may not no so I can teach the kids. but ide rather watch 1 rod and Scott Martin than than the googans now. thanks god there's other good you tube fishermen out there. but yea I hope 1 rod makes 3 to 4 videos a week. plus he fishes with some good fishermen.

The other googans make fishing seem like they're just doing it because they're a fishing channel. Ever since they had the money to start traveling, fishing has taken a back seat and it seems like they don't enjoy it anymore and it's more of a chore. Mike always has enthusiasm and actually isn't a sellout and has fun EVERY time he goes out on the water. Mike, Aaron Wiebe, and LFG are the guys who are actually passionate about fishing and actually genuinely prefer it over doing anything else.

I'm more into lake trout fishin in freshwater, and these AWESOME 50lb bonnethead sharks in SC, along with catching at LEAST 17+dozen blue crabs in a week with my dad and legit eating them all. Walk out knee deep, scoop em up, NO BAIT WHATSOEVER. Fills 2 large buckets a day, and we're only there for a week. I would LOVE to get into bass fishing, and learn how to use my fly rod soon tho

Rambo21 its all about how you set up your braking system, the pound test of your line and how good you are with a baitcaster. practice makes perfect.

He uses really expensive stuff. $500 reel and probably a $400 rod. Super advanced braking system and the rod is probably built for light lires
Rambo21 here's a simple way. Tie up. Tighten the spool tension knob so when you hit the button the bait doesn't fall. Then loosen it until it starts to fall. If you are more advanced you can loosen it even more. Match your brakes to the wind. No wind, don't put on a lot of brakes, heavy wind, put on a lot of brakes
