    You should give yourself a new stand, with less spiky bolts sticking out. Your case will last a while longer without scarves and dents! :-)

    Hi thank you for the video...why did you choose Zaxcom for your mixer? I'm considering the Zaxcom Maxx or the SD 633, but really like the 4 full size XLR and neverclip. Though the Maxx lacks a second disk slot, so no redundancy other than MARF.

      At the time, it was Nomad, 664 and 788T for me. Nomad had the most inputs, least weight and heat and had Automix. Neverclip isn't much of a factor for 633 vs Maxx.
      633 seems to get a lot of media issues cropping up but I can't tell if that's simply because of how many users there are or if it's a bigger problem.
      6 series metadata entry is much better. Both machines are quite good so I suppose it's your preference. Wireless is more of where I see Zaxcom having a clear superiority over the competition. Their recorders are pro level and very good but so are Sound Devices, so I can't say if one will suit you better or the other.
