i suggest using either 1.25 or 1.5 inch diameter PVC plumbing pipe and cutting it to the pitch you want (longer didges have lower pitch.) If you decide after that that you want a real didgeridoo, keep in mind that "real" didgeridoos only come from Australia. There's a species of termite there (called "white ants") that hollows out trees without killing them. a person looking to make a didgeridoo would go through the forest, knocking on trees to find a hollow one, which he would then chop down, trim, and shove a stick through it to get out all of the termite excrement. a didgeridoo hollowed out by man is not considered real. Check out didjshop.com. they sell REAL didgeridoos.
