The cats know when someone adores them so they pop up to say hello and visit with them. They are like little therapists and they can truly sense when they can provide comfort and companionship. He has become one of them so they have welcomed him into the cat community 😊❤ Great video.

I've seen a few videos on this guy. First time I've heard of his anxiety issues. Glad his husband got him out and walking. Nothing like furfriends to help with mood, anxiety, PTSD, depression, blood pressure, loneliness, weight ... and quit a few other things.
I'm so happy (and a little jealous) this cool cat dude gets to met and hang out with all the cool floof cats ... seems like heaven on earth.

So many cats to pet...this must be like paradise. But only if you are not allergic.
My kid is very allergic too but has also been obsessed with cats since she was a toddler. Like insisting she was a cat. Her dad has cats (I made him a cat person) and my kid couldn’t visit her dad at his house for years bc she suffered such severe allergies even just hugging him if he hadn’t changed into fresh clothes. Like everything from the normal itchy eyes and runny nose to horrific eczema that left scars afterwards. To insomnia & severe mood changes for days after exposure. Then I heard about cat food made with eggs from chickens that had been exposed to cats or inoculated with fel-d1. You feed a cat for two weeks with this food and you’re supposed to have an at least 47% decrease in allergens. I got her dad to buy the food and the result has been incredible. She spends the night at his house, even falling asleep on the couch the cat is always on, and she comes home perfectly fine. This is a kid who’d break out in welts and hives if she got licked by a cat. It’s literally life changing for her & im thinking once our senior dog passes we’ll try fostering a cat we feed with the anti allergens food, and maybe her lifelong dream of having a cat will finally come true.
There’s a couple of different brands (that I know of but there could be more) that make the food right now, one expensive, Royal Canin & one a lot more affordable, Purina. My kid’s dad got the purina and it worked immaculately. So if your dream is to have a cat, maybe see if friends or family with a cat would be willing to switch food & after 2 weeks go spend time with it. If the food worked for my kid, I think it’ll work for anyone.
@@Comrade_mommy My neighbors have a cat. I play with her and pet her almost every day. But afterwards I have to wash my hands thoroughly. Since I can't have my own cat, this is a wondful compromise.
@@zenon7094 at least you have that. But if you’re ever in a place to have own cat, try the cat food. I feel like I’m evangelizing but I truly thought nothing would ever work for my kid bc the symptoms of her allergies were so severe. Like I didnt dare get my hopes up when I heard about these eggs, & im so excited for my kid (and me bc I’ve always loved cats). Literally feels almost miraculous when before I had like no hope of anything working.
@@Comrade_mommy I do not think I will ever have a pet with fur. Since i am not only allergic but also have severe asthma, I can't even have a hamster. But thanks anyway for the tip.

I went years without a pet bc of my kid’s allergy & even when they’re a pain in the a$$ like the senior dog I adopted in 2020, they add a lot of good stuff to my life. But I totally understand, my nephew has allergies & asthma & fur is rough on him. My kid has at least been able to have a dog with hair instead of fur, (as long as they don’t lick her or drool too much) but my nephew’s allergies are different from hers. So even if dogs with hair don’t trigger his asthma, he’s still too allergic to dogs to have one comfortably.

I believe that being loved by a cat is the very purest form of love. Dogs are hard-wired to be subservient to their alpha, and with that comes "love", which is just obedience. Cats aren't like that at all, so the love you get from them is 100% real. That's why I will always have cats in my life!
It's not just obedience. Love is universal, and dogs love unconditionally. Some of us humans also love unconditionally, which can be bad when we love a bad person. Dogs love your soul, no matter how your human self treats them. That is why they need to be protected from bad people. Sure, it can be only obedience in some cases. But in most families, the dog is part of it, and has genuine love for its owners and their children. It's an insult to all beautiful dog souls out there to say that they can't genuinely love another being.
Cats truly bring a unique kind of love into our lives!

You have cat energy galore and you are, most definitely, a Cat Whisperer. Over the years I've adopted a number of stray/feral cats right off the street. My current two came as a feral mother and her kitten. Not only were they feral but I didn't get much chance to socialize them with friends and family before Covid came along and the visitors stopped coming. When people started visiting again I could tell who the Cat Whisperers were by whether my shy cats would approach them (even without treats). It was usually friends/family that had cats of their own that they immediately approached.
Bless you 💖!! You are a person after my own heart ❤️! We have 5 cats that were all strays who came to us as well (well, 3 of them were strays and 2 of them are the kittens of the once pregnant mother). We did have 7 but 2 very sadly passed away.
