For the price I just can't justify buying this. I literally have over a hundred EDC knives well under this price point that are more durable & attractive. A knife at this price point should feel like pure quality in hand but it doesn't, it feels like weak cheap thin plastic. Great review I'm just not on the bugout hype train.

Agreed. I know this knife is the darling of the knife world but I was not a big fan of it straight out of the box for the reasons you specify. Now, I’ve come to like it after swapping out the scales (see my captain America video) but I had to spend even more money to get there which was unfortunate.

I've seen videos of people batoning with this knife and putting it through heavy torture test. Its actually pretty durable despite how it feels. I was actually surprised how they managed to make it that durable without sacrificing the weight.

The Benchmade picknic would be a better fit, Light carry good for cutting them toasts and spreading jams

Are those compatible for boarding on planes ? Or it is absolutely zero tolerance for any sizes ?

If you live in Australia, law says *anything that could be a weapon is going to be illegal.
