I really, really really love melinda may. and this video shows one of the many reasons why. she's one of the most badass characters I've ever seen. ming is so stunning, and simply amazing. so this had to be made. enjoy!

honestly she is just so inspiring and just a powerhouse of a character. survivor is the perfect song for her. and ming-na wen who is both melinda may AND mulan, which means she's basically been an inspiration since i was a kid and i love her.
This is one of the best edited, timed (the action, music, lighting, coloring, scene transitions-everything was perfect) for any fandom. Honestly one of my fave fanvids period. Also I freaking love Melinda May so dang much and this captures her so well. Also perfect song choice. It fits her and the scenes so well.

Same, when I first watched the show, I didn't like her in the first season, same when I watched watched for the second time, perhaps because how she treats Skye. But as the show goes on, I love her!

She often looks harsh however she is fiercely protective to those she respects. Skye proved herself in Season 1 and she quickly beat Quinn after getting told Skye would not survive Quinn's gunshot. I mean this is the same person who kicked Skye out of the plane in front of the team and their superiors, though she obviously knew that's just how Skye worked best.
Not to mention her LMD sacrifice in Season 4, and among other things
