This is a short video to help document Pablo Flores from Climax Soul Control International as the pioneer of Continuous Airflare's Thank you everyone Charles Montgomery
My generation did a great job documenting the elevation of this skill and i say that not taking away from yours but, this skill was one of the most unique moves to have been created in the history of our dance. i would never deny lil alex, kid freeze or icy ice there creditability when it comes to the existence of certain skills. Just as you believe my brother didnt create continuous, i can question the same about you! but im not going to debate with you! you lived your time as i did mine peace.
I respect you more than you probably know..im just a ghetto kid who really feel in love with this culture. On a brighter note thank you for all your contributions, teachings, and knowledge you share. I am not trying to come off bad in any way just want my brother do get his contribution acknowledged..RIP PABLO SOUL CONTROL CLIMAX CREW peace and respect MR. FREEZE
Mad Props Charles. I had this video years ago. Don't know how I got my hands on it or how it made its way up to Sac but I agree with you that Pablo was the first person saw doing multiple airflares.
Yo I remember coming up as a young bboy. I was fuckin 12 years old watching Pablo an soul control crew kill it! I got video an pic's of me trying to do airflares an shit trying to learn his style . He was the ONLY NIGGA doing multiple airflares at that time! No question's an if anybody don't know then you don't truly know your history! R.I.P Pablo my BIGGEST inspiration in bboying! BBOY ZERO FROM THE RDG!! 610 PA, 6thWARD! 2GBCREW ILLADELPHPHLAV ALL DAY!! 215 Yah HEARD!!
bro im a popper from.fresno and look up to all you breaker that put fresno on the map thanx you and rip pablo also i support you all the way man much love
It always scares me to think how the innovator of the airflare and the continuous airflare even thought about when Its already hard to learn in the first place!
Bboy borrow Tommy-Flare + Backspin from Kungfu and Bless BBoy for creating the first ever "Airflare" and "AirTrack" = which was inspire by the "windmill" ...
Four thoughts... First: RIP Brother. Second: Chuck thank you for putting this vid together to honor my friend and crew mate. Third: This solidifies that Pablo Flores was the pioneer of the Continuous Airflare. Fourth: End of story. Heman Climax Crew
Im sure you did see someone do some what of an airflare back then but i know you didnt see anyone do multiples/continuous. I respect the fact your in Rock steady and you have been breakin along time but, what im saying is clear cut! CONTINUOUS AIRFLARES i played a major role in the growth of the innovation of airflare combos (just saying) so thats how i know. Not just myself but many other bboys know this as well Cros one, Kujo, Mr wiggles (RSC) hip hop timeline, Ivan, Gerald, Iron Monkey etc
and this is also to be taken with up most respect... i have a question for you 1) have you ever attempted this skill? from what i know of Mr Freeze is up rockin, top rockin, footwork and freezes and you do them well... not trying to correct you but, if you dont know what it takes to do the skill then you cant describe the feeling or really understand what your seeing. all im saying is my brother was the first that this community knows of who did continuous before anyone! thanks peace.
Honestly i wish i was there to witness alot of the other skills being birthed. the early 90's was my era and power moves on the west were our main focus, kids in ghettos everywhere couldnt get enough of them. like the turtle, backspin, hand spin, flares etc.all had been done! so if what you say is true why is it that noone from your generation were doing continuous airflares? flares were done right? many people were doing that back then so many people should have been doing airflares.
Agree with you Charles, "Rest in Peace", colleague Pablo. I guessed that we are both Taurus, judging by the fact, that he is very resistant Powermover, to make 2 Airflares and a lot of other spectacular Power-Combos. But after this video I was convinced in this, he was born May 7th, Me - May 19th:-) It is a huge pity, that his life ended so early...
@@BboySalamon Ibrahim did more like a 360 jump from both hands to a push up position. Bboy Thunder did 1,5 But my earlier comment was about multiple airflares not about single airflare. The first person who did a single airflare was bboy Icy Ice from NY city breakers in 1983
Love the video!! Its dope.. just ahh question by anychance do you have any videos of Lock Smith break dancing it was a long time ago but not sure if you still remember him but he was in your guyses crew
I never did the move..in my day we simply never took other peoples moves.and to be quite Frank it boars me to see a continuous move of any kind.. So let me get this straight, So your saying since i never built a car from the ground up,i can not speak on the fact that i saw a car builder 20 years earlier? The Facts are i saw the move years before you guys new about breaking.. Any way i wish you a happen & healthy new year. Mr Freeze
Hey guys i would like to make a fan page for him but i need your help because i don't no anything about him. How did he die, where was he born and so on. If you have any information then please comment so that we can make a fb page to honor this great man. Thx
Someone has prob already said this but is it me or people dont even know what just happened? Its like they were thinking.."huh" seen that before bahaha!
This is to be taken with the up most respect... Taking a move & doing it 10 times ratter then 5 times only means the person did it more.... As for me being in RSC,that doesn't mean anything in this conversation...I made my bones before RSC was born,Ive been B,boying since 1970....I respect what you post for the world to see,but the FACTS are people did continues AirFlares before you think..Just because we didn't have video cameras at the time doesn't mean it didn't happen. Mr Freeze
Rest in peace uncle, Gerald Casterlow, bboy kratos, check out a dedication video of him: legend of Gerald, if you guys read this show a lil love and check out the vid try and get as many views as possible. Forever breakin in the sky love you uncle.

In the sidewalk breakers vs NYC breakers battle some of the bboys almost pull one off.

Petition signed! I am a bboy that coaches gymnastics, I hope Pablo gets credited and documented! RIP Pablo!

informação errada,em 98 os brasileiros já mandavam Air flares para os dois lados.

For it to be official, it has to be announced somewhere and not by a TV commentator. It would be good to have a link to this official release.
I think the crowd was in Shock....
and this is also to be taken with up most respect...
i have a question for you

Pablo was not the first. The first one who hit 2 airflares was bboy Kokada from Brasil, he did it 1995-1996 and in 1997 it was recorded on video
@@RussianTroll-ie6gr Thanks man. Ibragim, from The Family, also performed 1,5 Airflare, on BOTY 1995.
