Following the release of the album teaser EP “YEAH !” one week ago, KMFDM finally reveal the title, cover artwork, track list and release date of their highly anticipated new studio album.
“HELL YEAH” will be released on August 18th, 2017 on earMUSIC.
On “HELL YEAH”, the legendary pioneers of industrial rock once again redefine themselves while, at the same time, staying true to their roots. KMFDM’s signature sound, a crossover between techno/dance and heavy metal is combined with sometimes political, sometimes ironic lyrics and an underlying humorous edge.

Definitely very unique.
This is the first truly different album KMFDM has done in a long time. Newer fans might not like it, but old schoolers will hear a welcome return to some late 80s/early 90s sounds.
KMFDM always changed their style in every new album. This band is not afraid of changing and that is good. It's sad that there are so many "elitists fans" who are bound to just one music style. Just open your mind. If you don't like, don't listen.

I've been a fan for years and I spin a lot of KMFDM tracks in major nightclubs. I absolutely LOVE the new album!! It's what KMFDM is all about: Rock, Industrial, Electro - Multi-genre music that everyone can love.

Love this album! Best one from them in years. This song is great! I really hope they continue on this track. Really good KMFDM joints make me want to hear them over and over again, and they make me listen to all their other albums again. This one has met the bar on both counts. Great song and great video! The entire album is fantastic and pushes Sascha and his cohorts into all kinds of new directions. I'm beyond excited to catch them live this year to see how these changes affect the live show. Let the Ultra Heavy Beat go on and on! KMFDM will never die!
Even if Lucia wasn't doing the vocals, you could still tell she wrote the lyrics. She has such a distinctive style of songwriting!

This sounds nothing like their old stuff. Early on they were like a weird funk industrial band, then they went industrial dance, and then industrial rock. This is boring and safe.
@Bee Zo At least some of us remember. I think when post-industrial became mainstream it lost its weird charm.

All the people whining about the band exercising creative license over their sound need to calm down. Personal opinion, props to them for being able to implement aspects of multiple styles in their music. That's just a testament to their talent and as it is, unless it's your band, quit whining. All KMFDM is good. Plain and simple.

KMFDM is still one of the most ORIGINAL bands and has been for decades, their songs for movies are great as well, one of my favorites is from "The Hideaway". One of the greatest concerts I've seen and after the show they came out and just bullshited with the people who were left and as one would hope they all were extremely cool.
I think its an awesome song, I've always loved songs that Lucia does the main vocals on. It's really not that different from their general sound when you think of other songs she has many lines in. (Juke joint Jezebel, Real thing, Mysterious Ways, Boots, Superhero, Last Things, Sleep) KMFDM is known for changing their sound up constantly, and I feel like they have a couple different styles they are consistent with, and it works great for them! KMFDM SUCKS!

This is like no other KMFDM I have ever heard. That's not a slam.
I mostly like their heavier stuff, but I admit that some (lots) of it sounds very similar.
This is more like straight-up synth-pop and it's GOOD. Despite "hating Depeche Mode" this track sounds like Sasha and his crew are giving them a fun for their money.

This is a great song. Never really heard this band before but it sounds like a tight track. If people hate on a band for steering in a new direction they are not really fans. Just fanboys of their first three albums. If you are a real fan chances are you'll stick around and have faith in them. If you are not you probably think you own the band and think they serve you and your preference somehow. Remember it's their band they can do what they like. They don't need anyones approval. This is a great song.

I think it'll sound great live. I'm just surprised that as how poppy as this one is, Lucia's not singing more like her solo-album style. Still looking forward to the next show, as much as I usually am after seeing this band for 20 years now :)

I just saw Pig last week and they did a 3 song Nihil block that sounded great, and even did Secret Skin off of the VS EP!
JackTradesman Yeah I caught that tour too! Sadly no Guenter as he had to drop off the tour due to family health issues. His skills really were missed. Secret Skin was fantastic though and I even got to sing bits with Raymond and En Esch (Flesh). 👍👍

Lucia sings so well. I always loved her addition to the band. Maybe En Esch didn’t. But I think she adds a glow to them. She’s certainly east on the eyes.
Some of my favorite KMFDM songs ever prominently feature Lucia, I'd say she was a great addition to the band.
Lucia saved the band full stop, KMFDM was always a band with two different directions clashing, and she does that role well. It is though a very different band with her and no En Esch.

I love new KMFDM more and more. I have been a fan since XTORT and boy I love the direction they have gone. Experimenting genres, multiple languages, lyrically political, and a stable core. Lucia's range in her voice is amazing from siren-like to using a mod box :)
