I don’t know why but is sounds so satisfying 😂
I can't wait to see what your solution for this will be!
Shame Toyota hasn't addressed this issue yet.
From my understanding, the clutch pack has to deliver torque to the rear and slip at the same time. It's already a problem for the GRY, for the 400lbs heavier GRC, it's worse.
So for some reason the system read a message Reduced Engine Power? Because happened to me before.
Same thing happened to me after about 15 min hard driving in 85F temps. Syvecs AWD Controller has been ordered…
10 mins if you in 30/70 mode... Toyota needs to fix this...
How's the controller working out thus far?
@@LanceEJones Works as advertised. You can definitely send more power rearwards, but the traction control gets angry. Feels great with tc fully off though. I triggered the AWD limp mode even with the controller at VIR, but the limp mode behavior is different than stock (reducing rear bias as temps rise instead of completely shutting off the rear end power). I simply cleared the warning and continued to drive and the car felt fine. Hope a hardware cooling solution comes soon as it pains me to drive through warning lights etc
Was is it in 50/50 torque split (Track Mode)? Or 30/70?
What were the ambient temperatures when you got the warning?
