The Outer Limits (1995 TV Series) information:
The Outer Limits is a Canadian-American television series that originally aired on Showtime, the Sci Fi Channel and in syndication between 1995 and 2002. The series is a revival of the original The Outer Limits series that aired from 1963-65.
Distinct from The Twilight Zone in that the stories were science fiction based only and not fantasy/science fiction as was the case with The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits is an anthology of distinct story episodes, sometimes with a plot twist at the end. The revival series maintained an anthology format, but occasionally featured recurring story elements that were often tied together during season-finale clip shows. Over the course of the series, 154 episodes were aired. - Zábava
Great story. I wish they'd bring back this type of television, where people actually used their imaginations to entertain us and make us think.
I saw it when I was young, now it's like I am seeing it for the first time, not to mention there was no widescreen tv by me just 4:3. Though there were widescreen TV's made as early as 1990, I doubt they were transmitted as such. This truly is from the days when TV had quality programs. Most kids today wouldn't believe it was free too.
Black Mirror is kinda doing that. (Netflix)
What you mean, "back"? We don´t understand it.
💯💯💯💯💯💯
Have u not heard of black mirror..??! Also, there are new episodes of the twilight zone!...U should check that out - it's really good!
A Right of Passage…when you were old enough to stay up to watch this, settled in with my mom, splitting a Pepsi, sitting in the dark with just a lamp for light….nostalgia for being a kid. Thank you!

No kidding!!!
I wish they would jump me back to the 60s

Yes, I have been on this planet since 1952 and 2020 is the worst year I have ever seen with this Pandemic and Plague going on. Take me back to the 1950's
I wish they would bring this series back! We need something like this for 2021!
SAD FACT about human nature. 👿The evil within ALL people ~
I don't let the women trick me into having sex with them. I don't allow women to speak to me with fantasy talk compliments.
I am going to search for a women that has the behavior of a Christian Amish women that is physically responsible and spiritually mature.
Women need to understand that the HOLY BIBLE has the Ten Commandments from GOD, they are NOT the Ten Suggestions !
The HOLY BIBLE explains that there are spiritual people of GOD and there are spiritual people of the Devil.
Do many people know which one they are ?
Women in the USA have been secretly weaponized against men starting in the late 1920's with an addition to the U.S. Constitution. The 19th Amendment.
There is an interesting book I read in the late 1990's titled, 'THE SERPENT SEED" an interpretation about the book of Genesis in the HOLY BIBLE about Eve having sex with the fallen angel Satan.
Watch the 1975 movie called 'THE WICKER MAN' scene where the police officer walks into the graveyard.
Angels cannot have sex because they are spirit beings, but is it possible that a fallen angel can have sex with a human women if the fallen angel enters an animal such as a serpent snake.
The serpent animals had legs at one time in history, but GOD cursed the serpent to crawl on it's stomach by removing it's legs because it tempted Eve to sin as written in the book of Genesis.
How did Adam and Eve know they were naked ?
Satan (speaking through the serpent) explained to them how to use the penis of Adam and vagina of Eve for sexual intercourse.
The Satan serpent was in a tree and it's possible that the "fruit" that Eve and Adam "eat" was actually the sperm from the sex organ of the serpent entering the mouth & anus of Adam and the mouth and vagina of Eve.
After that happened Adam and Eve inherited Satan's evil, sinful nature.
Their bodies changed drastically after they "eat the forbidden fruit" offered by the serpent to age as time went by year after year and got sick. Then also their body parts broke down and they eventually died.
Ever since their sin in the Garden of Eden all people on Earth have inherited the Satan flesh nature.
Look at the sperm cells of men. The sperm cells look like small little snakes (serpents) !
The HOLY BIBLE says, "Flesh and blood will not inherit the Kingdom of GOD."
This is why we must be born again.... born again spiritually, because our Satan flesh nature bodies will not be allowed in Heaven to be with GOD.
All people have inherited the Satan flesh nature from Adam and Eve because they listed to the lies of the fallen angel Satan.
The LORD GOD KING JESUS will give born again Christians new bodies.
"Long live the new flesh."
~ Quote, 1983 'VIDEODROME'
It is interesting that a dragon is the main mascot of Communist China and is honored and worshiped by the Roman Catholic Vatican church in Rome, Italy.
Read what the dragon (serpent) represents in the book of Revelation in the HOLY BIBLE. It represents the evil fallen angel Satan.
Anton LaVey was right about that the denominational "church" pastors are greedy corrupt modern day Pharisees, but Anton was wrong believing that the HOLY BIBLE was not historical. All people have inherited the Satan flesh nature from Adam and Eve when they both listened to the lies of the evil fallen angle Lucifer (Satan) .
Four tests to determine if the HOLY BIBLE is historically accurate...
If any document (book) that claims to be giving me accurate historical information, I am a skeptic, not a cynic, but a skeptic. That is why I have four tests I consistently use on any document that claims to be giving me accurate historical information.
My four test are:
1) Literary Style.
2) Internal Consistency.
3) Archaeological Evidence.
4) Manuscript Evidence.
So, any book that claims to be historical, I pass through those four tests in order to determine historical reliability. If you don't like my tests come up with your own tests to determine historical facts. When you read the Holy Bible you need to read in context and respect literary style. The Holy Bible is a selective account of how God has worked in human history.
The most accurate HOLY BIBLE is the Geneva 1599 and KJV 1611 AV version. The other Bible versions come from the corrupted manuscripts of Alexandria Egypt.

Good luck finding a writing team that puts story before politics.
it would all be woke and horrible. i just watched an ep from season one called Birthright about politicians being lizard people trying to kill us all w alternative 'green' energy, which really kill the earth and turn it into breathable air for their people. includes scientists lying about the data to hide this, and complicit media. think that could be made today?
Black Mirror.
No !!! You only need LGBTQ ,BLM ,trans movies !!! 😂😂😂 you f v cking racist !!
Wow im blown away by how good this episode was. I forgot how great this show could get. Great to see John Cryer in something other than Two and a Half Men.
You should watch Jon in "Dudes" from 1987 if you want to see him out of his element.
he is good actor.
So true.
Correct Keyan, and I'm rather envious of those shirts he wears on the set...
samus vikerness
Are you an only child?
This was really great episode, Jon Cryer is versatile as actor. Jessica Lundy very convincing as she ages through passing years.. It has the feel of Classic Outer Limits.
I think they over-aged her. When she said she was 60, in my opinion, she looked much older.
yeah but he is bald now, and no one wants to watch bald people. they are extremely unattractive, its been scientifically proven.
Outstanding - puts today's trash to shame. Loved it back then and still do. THANKS
Agree. This is one of the few 're-boots' that actually worked. Try the 'Tribunal' episode of this series.
This was not very great, some episodes were good and I have seen it all. Many better shows today and before. Tales From The Darkside is better. I bet you have never seen Syfys’ Channel Zero seasons lol, think you are so smart. I bet you have not seen the Exorcist show. The reboot of the OL and TZ and Tales from the crypt were not very good. American Horror Story was better than this. The Strain and Bates Motel and adventures of Sabrina were great.
This version was a remake, and in it's time, people called this version trash & said the original put this to shame. Moral of the story: old people hate everything, just because they're old. Every generation thinks everything new sucks. The world hasn't gotten worse, you just got old, grandpa.
@Frank Lopez you have terrible taste. Yuck. AHS is a CORNY highschool MUSICAL. Really scary, scariest part is when they sing😂
@@polite4canadians184
@Polite4 Canadians Moral of the story is "old" people were once young and cool too. None stays young forever including you. Before you know it you'll have brats calling you an old 'boomer." Granpa. So it enjoy it while you can. This been a public service announcement from a reprasentive of Generation X.👍👌🖖✌️🤘🖕
This was one of the best episodes and reminds you to make the best use of the time you have and to show the people around you that you love them.
He really never had enough time to do these things you say with every return/leave.
Great to see John Cryer act in a dramatic role before his "Two and Half Men" days on TV. Many watching this episode might not even realize this. But it shows that Cryer is actually an extraordinary actor.
As to comedy, that requires skilled actors as well. He was excellent in Hot Shots
wow I didn't know that was him until I read your message
when i was young i watched 'pretty in pink'. i still remember him telling andrew mcarthy 'blow me buttwad' he was so realistically enraged. it was funny. i don't think that was even scripted.
@@lapacesiaconvoi : I didn't know he was in pretty in Pink. If I can find that movie I'll watch it again.
I just realized that was him ten minutes in
Jon Cryer is one of the best actors around. In one episode of Two and a Half Men, he was in a grocery store and he went from ordinary shopping to crying on the floor in the fetal position in about two minutes. He deserves all kinds of awards for his work.
So he is good at fake crying..? Well..no wonder..it is this last name, after all.
There's also an innuendo to Alan trying to write a book and to make it interesting he keeps saying Then the lights came down or something like that 😆
He was excellent in "Pretty in Pink" with Molly Ringwald. My favorite character.
I keep seeing this short film every few years, and have never felt it's aged! Just love the premise, the acting, and everything about it. Seeing it again in 2022! 😊👍♥️
I love the way they use music of those particular eras.....to designate time, and how he keeps jumping from decade to decade.. shades of Scott Bakula in Quantum Leap..
Emerging from a Time Warp into a bad 70s Disco where people are dancing to "The Hustle" must have blown his WW2 mind.....
what a nightmare. at least he still had family. i'd be on the street.
It would blow my mind today too!
Good fn year!
Every so often I'm reminded of just what a terrific action Jon Cryer really is.
He reminds me of Matthew Broderick.
This is one of the best episodes I have ever seen, of any TV show ever. The emotional payoff is completely earned, the whole episode is tight and concise and keeps you guessing the whole way.
for Outer Limits, it was just another episode. they had many this good. it was a special show.

I loved watching these. I feel like I've been through a "wormhole" due to how FAST the years went! LOL. My daughter was a kid when these new 'Outer Limits' shows came out. Now she's around the age I was when I watched them. Life is but a mist... a vapor.
Yeah it can be scary
😊
My theory is excess of distractions (the internet more than TV because none liked TV that much after 30yo, but on the internet we can chose exactly what we want to see).
I remember seeing this as kid back in the 90s
The Nineties!...Right, Jon would have done it then...but ...but that's twenty years ago! .......
I'm 49 now and I never watched the series in the 90s and I am going to watch them all now, really good story, thanks.
You missed out
This is one of the best episodes of the rebooted 1990s Outer Limits I have ever seen. I wish I had copy of this episode.
The real travelling machine is the film or video which captures the past that can be played and replayed at will. You see people as if they were alive, though they are dead since a long time ago. It is delightful and sad at the same time.
Soooo very true, Zorro!! Right on!
Not only is this series brilliant and truly, thought provoking, but with each episode, I can't help noticing how wonderful the composed music scores are!
I loved this show..and tales from the dark side and tales from the crypt ..all those
Yes all three were my faves too then Freddy nite mares came on the scene 😂😂love a good story line 👍👍
Tales from the Darkside: "Inside the closet" is my favorite of all time.
Scared me to the point i wouldn't want to go to bed anymore when i was young.
Me too, monsters, creepshow all the old anthology shows
Also, an under-rated series is "One Step Beyond". The stories each have a slight truth to them and the host (much like Rod Serling would open each episode in "The Twilight Zone") is really good too!
@@legrandgougoulilumine6940 Oh, I've never heard of that, thank you.
The 80s, 90s and early 2000s had many interesting series. Thanks to youtube we are able to see them. Far better than most series today.
The 1960s twilight zone was the best

The 80s was a great time to be in your 20s.
Jon Cryer can act, and this is a good story well-told. Bravo.
He always struck me as the nice guy women would talk about and envision marrying; I did learn later in life it’s better to just let my path go where it would naturally but to me Jon Cryer will always be that ideal vision of a woman’s idea of that nice guy
Maybe we should be grateful for what we have and not so greedy and needy. This was one of the best ones yet. It had a real meaning behind it.
Jon Cryer is a very good actor which is why he was able to slip into comedy so easily for Two and a Half Men. What a thought provoking Outer Limits show.
These were my childhood, my favorite classic series
Far out!!!!!! perfect!! one of the best Outer limits
I wish I could find a girl just like in the old times... that would hold to you and you to her in bad and good times... but that's possible just in the movies...
What an amazing episode! This one made me cry. I was so happy to see everything went right for him and all people around.
I remember this! What a story. Such a shame they don't do sci-fi anymore. The brains of our younguns have turned to mush, they don't seem to desire any of it. Very sad.
Dust, Omeleto - on CZcams. Some very good sf short films!
And the cool kids of the 60s 70s grew up to be the most uncool grouchy bitchy generation ever born

One of the most intriguing episodes. Now a near-classic.
Agreed. how it is intriguing to know where Alan came from.
One wormhole away from being a classic
Near my ass!
Remarkable episode!
One of many, many, great episodes this remade series produced! It expanded on the original Outer Limits, and eventually found it's own voice. Truly one of the most underrated shows of the 1990's!
Fantastic story and Jessica Lundy was remarkable throughout her transitions.
This one and Sandkings were my two favorites back in the 90’s!!
From the modern OUTER LIMITS, this has to be one of, if not my fav! Multiple messages given in this one. But one in particular which usually pops up in many OT eps as well as eps from other shows of its kind. It encourages everyone to appreciate and cherish the loved ones around us and the things we possess while we have them and not to focus on the things we don't have as necessarily important. If it's material, it can easily be lost, including family and friends. And as material beings, our existence is linear, meaning we do have an end. So it behooves us to spend it as wisely as possible. Excellent story!!
slimdude....Yes, I agree. I think that I read that one of the writers of this series had been in a German concentration camp, or maybe just a regular POW camp, in WWll. That would explain the Human interest aspect of the episodes and the narration at the end of each one.
@@marbleman52
Interesting bit of info. Like Rod Serling being a soldier in WW2 and relating his experiences through multimedia. The best writers are those with gravity in their past.
Oh, wow! This was soooo good! Maybe even better than the originals. What a beautiful ending. Good old Alan got to go back to the beginning and live with his sweet wife. It's not just going to be a great day, Alan, it's going to be a great life!
Amazing! I wish I could jump back to 1989...

Loved it! Now you know where the flashing lights come from in two and a half men episode 😆, if you haven't watched that show you must now! Alan oh Alan...
Excellent story with the most important message. Be thankful for what you have! It can evaporate instantly.
It's awfully nice of those aliens to send him back to his original time instead of sending him to 2000 with a dead wife and a 40 year old son
Wait a minute, at the start of theshow they were celebrating the coming of 1950. He gets into an accident and wakes up 10 years later. How freaky is that. What would beenn worse is that Trevor wakes up into 2000. His wife is gone and stranger anwsers the door and breaks the news that his wife is dead and gone.
instead his son will never be born :(
i have to disagree. because now that son will never exist.
@@ladylyrichere9373 nope he’ll still make love with her now and he’ll be born again. That’s their destiny.
lol yeah xD
This was one of the better episodes. I can see how the time slips freaked Trevor out. I'm glad, that in 1990, his wife showed him the video her 2nd husband and her had taken, and then hypnotized Trevor to get into his subconscious mind and determine what was really happening. I liked the ending in that he came back to his wife in 1949.
He'll be rich!
He knows to invest in large disco collar shirts, which bar will be around, good investment!
Wow way to spoil it
He knows about the '78 World Series, will be making a big bundle that year !
Beautiful love and loyalty story. Love and loyalty against the unknown is the best.
The wife went into a time warp too, otherwise she would have found someone else in 10 years.
I used to watch the original series in the early sixties.. scared the living crap out of me...
You remind me of myself when I used to watch The Twilight Zone at the beginning of the 60's, in black and white! 😄
Those were the ones I grew up on. I was hooked on the opening monologue. Taking control of my TV wow.

Very good story here. I doubt any writers in 2019 have the mental capacity to write like this.
None of them know how to write great stories like this anymore, what a shame. This stuff was so good!
Charles M Rinehart. Why not? Did they put something in the worldwide water supply? Too much fluoride? Over 6 billion people and not one of them can write this sci fi?
