Casemiro looked lean and fit, Mazraoui was class and a debut goal for Zirkzee, Pretty happy with that for first game of season

Mazraoui was not really tested in that game. However, looked tidy on the ball and positioning was good.

What's risky about guaranteed goals when you have an injury prone youngster and an untried Dutch man with potential? Surely that's more risky to assume these guys can do it all season on their own? We started without a striker on the pitch tonight and we could pass Toney? Nonsense, get him in.

If United can sell McTominay and Sancho they should go for Ivan Toney. Hojlund and Zirkzee will be good players but they both lack PL experience.

What's wrong with playing a false 9? Messi was a false 9 for years and achieved more than anyone in footall history. Zirkee is basically a false 9 he drops deep none stop anyways. We only have one striker Hojlund at the club, thats why the club is thinking about Toney too.

Though he can be a good target man, Toney will not thrive in team thatâs playing Unitedâs way. A fox in the box striker in the mould of Cavanni would, letâs hope Zirksee would be our âCavanniâ.
We should keep McTominay. He can be a good utility player for United in Centre back, forward or âDelle Aliâ role in moments where itâs needed.
Tonight showed us whenever we have runners around Casimero, he looked like a midfield general. Both Mainoo & Mount moved about like bees alongside him, and theyâre both not in peak condition yet.
Much as I think Maguire looks lean and like a beast tonight, I still think he will thrive in a team like West Ham, and maybe prolong his England career.
Only concern tonight is Garnacho. A bit rusty, keep fumbling and giving ball way, and unable to track back aggressively. Body language not good, and seen him throwing his arms in the air a few times.
