Miles wouldn't have to have shut the collider off if he didn't start it and push it to dangerous levels that put not only his employees (Spot being one of them), but the entire universe at risk. King Pin's family didnt die, they just left him. If he had worked on himself, then he'd get his family back without a world ending super collider. Miles lost his Uncle to King Pin. Spot lost everything because of king pin. Maybe with Aunt May's help, they can treat Spot's condition or help him come to terms with it, much like Peter did with Miles. Spot has a TON of potential. @@user-ll1bn8cq7d Yup, they left him and fled in fright. They saw how violent he was and probably his wife connected the dots. While distracted they go sidelined by a truck and died.
It doesn't help that the person he think is responsible for all of this is mocking him. From Miles point of view, of course he couldn't help himself from laughing at him. So Spiderman thinks he is a joke after all the pain he caused him? Spot is going be damned sure he won't be laughing anymore at him.
I thought that was the beautiful tragedy of it. Spot isn't evil. He's unhinged. Losing your face and gaining god like powers on accident could very well make a guy insane. But he's still confused and trying to figure it out at first. But then he finds miles and starts blaming him because of exactly what you said. "Spiderman is supposed to save people and he didn't save me" not only that, as far as spot is concerned, miles killed him. And then instead of acknowledging it, miles laughed at him. An unhinged person will take that personally, even though this version of miles has no idea about what happened to spot. So spot wants revenge. I also feel like the visual storytelling is so amazing for spot. He starts out mostly white and is slowly consumed by the dark spots until he's just a black silhouette with just a few white strings inside. Like he's being consumed by revenge on miles. His form also becomes increasingly more and more unstable (maybe like his mental state) until he's basically glitching just like miles was at first, just in a creepier way obviously... which could also mean that him going through the collider multiple times might also be fucking with the multiverse in some way.
