You are on the right path, but you could spare a mountain of mistakes and track time by doing a couple training courses with a pro rider. I can assure you, it will translate to much safer riding on the streets as well.
Great content. Good start to become consistent, then you can start building speed. “Going faster” as you note, will just make you slower. Tip: I use a track map (usually draw one myself on a big A3 paper, not to scale, and between sessions take notes of shift points and speed and how things feel in different corners. Then I try changes. It can be seriously mind-blowing when you find a chunk of two seconds somewhere with just a minor adjustment. Also, if you can get a good instructor or spotter to help it is extremely valuable. Have fun!

I ride my KTM SM right to the limiter in each gear, and I notice you don't really do that. Doesn't mean you're missing out on any power. I just love the sound of the limiter haha

I believe you are in map 2. Map 2 is your wet map. Switch to map 1. If that doesn’t feel good enough add a 1 size to your rear sprocket. At go karts you never reach the end of 5th

From my own personal experience, a shorter track, even a smaller motorcycle, to force you to work technique rather than speed would help you improve your skills and confidence and consequently improve your lap time.
Would coming into some of those tight corners wider and then sweeping in work better lines? I know thats what the car line would be. You look like you enter in tight on the inside.
Do a track session with Brian from SoCal super moto. In one day you will pick up a lot of skills and it is fun 🎉🎉🎉🎉

@@NoPro420 a piston with indents for valves is surely not a 2 stroke, also hear the sound, look at the non-expansion straight exhaust
