Straume took delivery of the trawler/purse seiner 'LIBAS' from Fitjar Mek. Verksted AS.
Speed/consumption criteria were all important during the design work, and 17 knots speed in loaded condition was a stipulation from the Owner's side. LIBAS will spend half of her time trawling with on blue whiting with gear from Egersund Trawl.
