Sie machen sehr schöne Videos. Ich war bereits auf Stromboli, aber wo ich jetzt wieder diese Bilder sehe möchte ich wieder auf die Liparischen Inseln. Immer eine Reise wert!

Congratulations for very good shots!!! It's very good that you used tripod ("stative") for your camera. We were there 3 weeks earlier but we didn't see so strong eruptions (I have one video on my channel). Obviously you have a good camera for night shots :)
Martin, did you climb Stromboli 3 times or did you stay on the "pizzo" or at the Osservatorio for 2 or 3 days? It's really a great video. 14 days ago, Strombo didn't want to erupt... and we were in the fog and smoke :-/ So your video is very very welcome!!!
Griet Asselman Dear Griet. Thanks! I spent a week at stromboli. Five times I was at the "pizzo" and two times at the 350m-plattform above the pizzeria "osservatorio"- for the pictures from the lava-flow. There was fog for the whole last three days at pizzo.
Must be great! Plus all that climbing... you must be superman :-) Some people also stay and sleep on that platform (400 meter). I don't think I would close my eyes for 1 minute over there ;-) If Strombo erupts, there is the view and if nothing happens, but smoke, fog or gaz, mmm it's too dangerous and I would be afraid to sleep there. I have been stupid: I had noticed that their site "webcam stromboli hadn't been updated since april 2015, well. because there was nothing to see! Of course, the guides must earn their money. Stromboli is really a great Island to stay for more than 2 days, indeed.
WOW! war das laut! ich würde zu gerne wissen, wie laut das in wirklichkeit ist.... warscheinlich bläst es einem die trommelfelle raus! und noch eine frage; spürt man die eruption schon, bevor man sie sieht, oder erst nebenher? ach, und wie groß sind die lavafetzen, die da rausgeschleudert werden(man kann das in einem video so schlecht einschätzen , weil man keinen größenvergleich hat!)
Große Explosionen sind lauter als ein Formel1-Start, so dass die Tonaufnahme nur noch übersteuert. Erschütterungen im Boden waren nie zu spüren. Die Fontänen können bis zu 500 Meter hoch werden. Große Brocken können auch mal drei Meter Durchmesser haben.

From that vantage point the recordings were performed? How far was the author of the video with respect to the active crater?
Ich war auch dort hab aber nur die Boot fahrt Tropea - Vulcano - Lipari - Stromboli gemacht. Wir haben leider nicht Stromboli by Night gebucht.

Between roughly 2:02 and 3:11 I see 4 fixed dots in the sky. Three red dots and one less brighter white dot....What are those?
After two hours my camera is so warm that you can see this pixel-error.
