I was at a friend's house yesterday, and we were sharing fav songs...and I showed him Pantera, and afterwards his comment was..."I feel like I can't play anything after that"
@@FlamedBunny Heavy Metal its the grandfather of all the metal subgenres so, if u say "heavy metal" to dimmu borgir or between the buried and me its the same haha
Dude your reaction to hearing "a new level" was awesome. Brought me back to when I was 15 and heard that for the first time....I think I made the same expressions you did....lol. Now that you got through Pantera, if you want "groove" in your metal, might I suggest Lamb Of God, any album really, lol.
And we just lost Vinnie Paul very recently. Heart attack at 53. Sad. Another rocker taken from us, dead too fucking young. RIP Vinnie Paul AND Dimebag.
God....listening to Dimebag through a fresh set of ears, an un initiated man appreciative of good music and the raw, amazingly unique talent that Darrell Abbot displays on this album.....after being a fan from day one.....brings tears to my ears. R.I.P Dime.....your never forgotten.
I love the high pitched screams as well. Course.. that's why I like stuff like Manowar, Judas Priest, Overkill and the myriad of other bands with a higher pitch.
Dude you are quickly becoming my favorite reactor! At first i was unsure of u but you have grown on me with your goofy shit but on top of it all you truly listen to all aspects of the music and seem to judge quite fairly without bias! Not many reactors take in the music the way u do!
True. It isn't empty of grove, but not not early as much. Driven is a totally different animal than Vulgar and has to be appropriated as such. Vulgar definitely spoils one...
I've been a Pantera fan since 1992 ( yes i'm that fucking old ), it's always my all time favorite band and to see you enjoying it makes me fucking happy. Thank you for making smile, i needed it. You made my day.
What is truly amazing is when this album came out. It is timeless and it changes the entire metal genre. What Nirvana did for rock, Pantera did for metal.
Been listening to this 'album' since it came out. Masterpiece of metal. Never gets old. Production is flawless. Energy is relentless. You're feeling it!
You are just a JOY to watch. It was so fun to watch you enjoying type of music that much. I've kind of been in a funk and this has gotten me excited to listen to music again and really enjoy it like this. Thank you! ❤
Haha there was nothing like a pantera concert , I went to see them every time when they came around , talk about Energy the pits were like the pits at a slayer concert!
I loved watching your reaction. This is one of my top 3 favorite albums. I'm glad you appreciate this music. I also get chills when I listen to it. Keep up the good work my man
A really great album will always get you in the mood, like Vulgar Display Of Power does. NO matter how many times you listen to it,it has that magic. R.I.P Dimebag
Love your enthusiasm man, Pantera were incredible. I recommend Kyuss, either blues for the red sun or welcome to sky Valley. Keep rocking my friend. Jim, England.
Always has been my favorite of their albums. Love your videos. It makes me feel like I'm hearing it for the first time again right along with you. Thank you for that!
You’re taking me back 27 years when I was 16 and driving around for the first times like you are now bro!! Slamming my face against he steering wheel!!! Hell yeah! This is exactly how I felt then! Thanks for bringin it home.. can’t wait to see where you go next..
You're welcome. Enjoy the rest of their offerings. This album got me through some tough times many years ago. It's in my top 10 all time and I listen to every type of music. I was thrilled to see you reaction man. I got to enjoy it all over again.
This is pure Art! Pantera is one of the most influencial bands... as a guitarrist.. I too draw my influences from Dime. R.I.P. Dime and Vinnie. May you rock in Heaven now!!!
Just found you, and subbed right away. You are goofy as hell man and I love it. Watching your reactions to my favorite albums is like hearing them for the first time again.
It's really entertaining watching you enjoy this band especially considering you're probably not a metal guy. Thanks for keeping an open mind to talent. I'm actually curious to hear one of your favorite artists. I'm all ears man throw something at me
No idea anything else about your channel but you're cool in my book, because you're enjoying Pantera appropriately. Check out the 101: Proof Live Album, the best quality of Pantera is that their live shows were even better than the studio stuff. Tightest band I've ever seen. No one misses a beat, and Dimebag was amazing to watch play live. And yes he could play those solos perfectly every time. Better than perfect, because he had more feeling when you were witnessing it for yourself.
recently found your videos, I'm a fan....as I was listening to music on my phone, I thought of the perfect fan that combines vocals, drums, production....You should check out Mudvayne, they only had 5 albums but they are pretty great man!!! Keep up the great videos!
RIP Vinnie, such a sad day in music history. At least you are with Dime now shreddin the heavens. Thank you so much for the music that made me who i am today.
One more proof that this kind of music have to be heard ASAP - preferably in the puberty or in adolescence. I was 20yo when this album sprung to its existence and was spot on for me. Thank you man, I'm glad that you liked it too!
His reaction to a new level is like everybody’s first listen to that riff, fucking massive
He definitely likes "Groove Metal"
Exactly lol, he loved sacrament
The only problem is after listening to Pantera nothing else is as good.
Phil Anselmo So true! Even down and super joint are water trash compared to this....sorry phil
Dude,you're damn right.

One of the greatest Heavy Metal Albums of all time - VULGAR DISPLAY OF POWER!
Groove metal but your still right
Cowboys >>>>
@@FlamedBunny Heavy Metal its the grandfather of all the metal subgenres so, if u say "heavy metal" to dimmu borgir or between the buried and me its the same haha
Pantera is metal at its best.
The whole pantera discography was on constant rotation on my headphones all through high school
So glad he stuck it out with “This Love”
Holy shit you crack me up man!!!! I have never seen a reaction to Pantera like this before........
I have never EVER seen anyone pop block to Pantera, BRILLIANT!!
I love how he reacted to No Good (Attack the Radical). That's a grossly underrated Pantera song...
Yes..i think there is some groove inside this song.
Vulgar Display is easily my FAVORITE PanterA album, hands down. One of the best Metal albums as well.
My fav band all time. R.I.P. Dimebag

Dimebag Darrell guitarist and drummer Vinnie Paul are brothers can't get any better then this
Yeah unfortunately we lost Dimebag nearly 20 years ago because of some retarded drugged up piece of shit fanatic packing heat
13 years
mhm
And we just lost Vinnie Paul very recently.
Heart attack at 53. Sad.
Another rocker taken from us, dead too fucking young.
RIP Vinnie Paul AND Dimebag.
Goosebumps!!! That's awesome! Metal head my whole life. Great to see other people opening up. You're killing it to btw!

Dave Shouse , definitely rip dime ,when u said un initiated I thought of dark knight rises ,bane saying ,"but we are the Initiated ".lol😎🤘
Does anyone else do a "YouYouYou!" at the beginning of these videos?
My grandson does. He thinks it's hilarious.
Pantera really came into their own on this one. Phil stopped the high pitch screams and went heavier and heavier.
I like high pitched screams though.
Meccarox really?
Patrick Wagener
Yes
Meccarox OK. I don't think phil can do that anymore.
I love the high pitched screams as well. Course.. that's why I like stuff like Manowar, Judas Priest, Overkill and the myriad of other bands with a higher pitch.
Seeing you discover artists like Pantera for the first time just enriches my soul. Keep doing what you do, much love man!
Best Pantera album for sure, Rise and Fucking Hostile are my favorites of all their career
By Demons be Driven tho.... oh mah gah
kreshBACON live in a hole is probably my favorite right now

Damn right
Hollow has one of the coolest riffs in metal
Hes gonna love "FAR BEYOND DRIVEN"!
I guess not, 11-9-2017
lmao
hes right though......compared to vulgar, far beyond driven has very little groove to it
True. It isn't empty of grove, but not not early as much. Driven is a totally different animal than Vulgar and has to be appropriated as such. Vulgar definitely spoils one...
I didn't think he would hate it as much as he did. Oh well. He definitely won't like the rest of the records.

Dime was the grooviest cat who ever lived. If this was the year 1063 Dime would be shredding groove out on the hurdy gurdy.
