It's so weird to see how much these magazines have changed it really shows u how different these are. It shows you how powerful CZcams is.

2022 issues are a lot different to 2016 issues. The You Tube articles have disappeared, but there are a lot more celebrities and quizzes.

Used to read shout in the late nineties early naughties
My dad used to buy it for me as a treat, I would sit and devour it on a Friday
It's changed so much!! It only used to cost about 95p!
It was full of my favourite bands and the Internet was barely mentioned (we were still getting to grips with msn messenger lol)
Very interesting to see how it's evolved!! Really enjoyed this video would love to see more of the now and then comparison!

Hi Amy, thanks for sharing your magasine flip through. I'm guessing you're about my age, so you probably read Miz, Shout, sugar and seventeen in the early 2000s...do you remember which of these magasines had a section (very small and hidden in a corner) on casting magic spells. There was a new spell every week and usually consisted of something like rose petals in water and repeating mantras. It was all very innocent stuff, but I followed it religiously and loved it. Any idea what I'm talking about? I just want to know which magazine it was. I've been trying to work it out for months 😭 thanks again!
Those were definitely my teen magazines of choice! Unfortunately that doesn't sound familiar to me at all. I'll try to keep this in mind though as I do still buy nostalgia magazines from eBay!

I'm only 16 and hate how the younger generation and even my own are being almost brainwashed by vlogging and stuff. Fair enough Zoella is a good role model in some respects, got nothing against her at all but nowadays she's on the cover of so many magazines and even has her own Superdrug line and deal with WHSmith. Honestly not sure what to think 🤓
I love your attitude! :) Zoella has achieved so much, and I hope she's proud of all her work, but I don't think the magazines etc are promoting it in the best way. Instead of saying "work hard and you'll achieve goodness," it's more "make a vlog. You'll be famous!" x
