The experts were just as culpable as the perpetrators. it would have taken VERY little forensic work to determine they were fakes. The comment the investigator made about the colour and varnish making it difficult for experts to determine authenticity is rubbish. Material analysis would have picked up these as fakes in a heart beat. He's shilling for the dealers.

i love it when the art world is fooled especially ehen the so called masters have veen varified genuine by dealers and art critics shows how fickle it all is and youve gotta wonder howmany frsuds have veen sold through famous auction houses now hsnfing as pride and joy on someones wall or in a xollection such a laugh
