Enough is enough. You decide to go to your arch nemesis to talk out this whole situation that you are having with yourself and your own brain. But, talking about it is more tricky then you would think.

Bonus video! Yeah I know, exiting isn't it. This video was very fun for me to make, I didn't expect it to be so enjoyable to just talk as an angry character for a little while. It's not everyone's cup of tea, of course, and definitelly not really conventional asmr stuff, so I changed the tag to Audio rp. I hope it might be more, correct, for this video. It's also kind of an experiment for this ASMR video to see if it sticks.

Dang, that was a VERY unique experience. The idea of being comforted by someone who's supposed to _hate_ you definitely seems contradictory, but I think this is an interesting exploration of the concept of what makes rivals, well, "rivals." They may hate each other's guts and be fundamentally opposed to each other, at least on the surface layer, but deeper down, they are also _incomplete_ without their "other half," even if that isn't in a romantic sense. Without that "grindstone" that they need to sharpen their own skills, and motivate them to improve, a hero or villain without their archnemesis falls into a sort of slump where they don't really have any _need_ to be the best they can be. That's why she's so concerned for us - without us, she'd become _empty._

Hearing the hero blame themselves, and trying to hold themselves in a light of 'perfection' and being an unfaltering paragon, it really is something I could use more of. In general.

It is a very bad mindset. No one is perfect but it's the sad truth of those who think they must be that.. well, they are forever stuck in that mindset
It's made worse when the person in question... Has no views of self-worth.
Nobody is infallible, not even the most powerful superheroes. Behind the fancy gadgets and the superhuman abilities, they're still human. They fuck up. They make mistakes. Just like any regular person.

A very fascinating take on the whole hero x villain trope and each one shared quite a powerful message. Stellar work!
In regards to what superpower I would have I see myself as one with black wings and blue lightning. "Nightlight Flare" I call it. The wings offer support in both strength and agility, allowing my feathers to be utilized as an electric current when pinned into a surface or levitating in place and even rejuvenating them at a moderate rate if lost/destroyed. Each feather can cause my lightning to be redirected at incredible speeds but disintegrating them once leaped. This is done telepathically by being connected to my power via motion singularity. In other words the lightning can only travel without problems if I know my feathers will maintain its current and flow of it's travel, thus straining my mind into performing a perfect current. This flaw can be very dangerous as failing this can cause one of three things, the bolt could explode violently in a 50 yard radius, it could be misdirected and strike anyone/anything or it could hit myself, electrocuting me with 3,000,000 watt's of uncontrollable electricity throughout my body and possibly singeing it depending where the bolt initially connected. It's a powerful double edge sword and can sometimes be what ends the battle on both sides. Flight and levitation are also perks with it but those are just minimal things that most heros/villains tend to have.
Oh, those superpowers sound quite, facinating. I do think it sounds very interesting. You have thought about them a lot it seems, or am i wrong?
I have. Quite a few actually. The difference of which I think I would have is based on the world and it's effects on those with superpowers. There's been times where I chose the hero's side and ones where I chose the villains. Most of mine are based on vigilantes though so I'm playing the role of either one. World generation, story and effects play a huge role in each one I see myself with and it makes it feel much more in depth upon utilizing that method into the thoughts, creation process and finalizing it's pros and cons.

This was a very enjoyable story. I am glad that it didn't end up being a romantic comedy. The villain helping the hero get through their mental/emotional strife is a rare thing that can always get behind.

Great vid, amazing plot development, also if I was a superhero my preffered superpower would probably be superstrength, it's simple sure but I am too.
And nothing is wrong with superstrenght. It is very useful
