I don’t think anyone could beat Jessie and Drew but the sounded incredible!
I feel like Jason will be able to play the awkwardness of Pottamer brilliantly. Drew's voice is so strong, but Jason's is very sweet, and sort of quiet and I think it'll work really well. Betsy has a very strong voice, so the balance is really good.

I agree, I saw Jason and Betsy in the show live, and I’ve seen clips of Drew, and he’s talented, but he seems a little too strong for the part imo. I’ve always imagined Dr Pomatter to be a little more delicate I guess
Yes, i agree, i saw them live on Broadway, they fit sooo got together. And bboth of them are also great for their roles 😍👍

I feel like some parts sound awkward or don't fit together as smoothly but overall I really enjoyed!
I think part of it is to do with the fact that they aren't in the theater and it's a rather different environment. I was skeptical at first, but I think he's really doing well vocally with the score. I'm intrigued to see what he sounds like with Sara back as Jenna.
Jason is awkwardly cute. I love it.

Am I the only one underwhelmed with Betsy Wolfe? No doubt she's very talented but she's just so not the person I pictured as Jenna. When Jesse or Sara performed as the character they seemed to light up and I got chills but I don't know what it is about Betsy's portrayal that I don't connect with. In her defense though, it's super difficult to keep the stylized stuff Sara and Jesse do (but Jesse's sister can so why didn't they cast her?) Jason fits as the doctor though. I have fallen in love with his voice all over again

Funny, i think the opposite way. * i saw bootlegs tho* and Betsy’s one was the one that completely sold me and made me love the musical.
I really thought the same thing until I saw Betsy perform with Drew. She blew me away, she is an incredible storyteller. Very obvious why she was cast as Jenna. Her accent is also adorable.
I saw her perform with Jeremy Jordan at a concert, recently, and I started crying. Her voice might not be suited for Jenna, (in my opinion) but she truly has the voice of an angel.

I hope Jason Mraz and Betsy Wolfe do something else that I'd actually want to see. I didn't like Waitress, not worth it for me to pay money to sit through that again.
Betsy has a nice voice, but I don't like her overall.....I've never heard of her. Jason is THE BEST. I'm probably jealous. ......I LOVE YOU JASON!!!!
