Every prime version is impacted directly by the competition in the day of the ranking. Levan today wouldn't exist back then. He didnt need to. The Levan of today exists today because of a more broad use of PEDS/and type of PEDS. Sure, Levan today would over power John back then, but John back then wouldn't be the same John as he would be today if he was armwrestling either.
It’s not like he curled 170 kgs for bicep and hand insane arm power (considering that Devon’s arm power is equivalent to a middleweight puller), but no we’re just fanboys
@@shomori9642sure, 70+ kg on back pressure while having a long forearm is a middleweight standard. Not to mention when he was not training inside he beat Genadi in a hook a few times.
not even a question. but a roided modernized version of cleve dean would be terrifying, that dude with very specialized training and the modern roid abuse thats now common at high level (not saying it didnt happen back then, but now its in a much higher and specialized level) would have the potential to reach the same level of levan. another guy that with a lot of roids and modern training would be terrifying would be another georgian, zaur tskadadze (levan himself already talked about him btw). looked a lot like vitaly, over 2m tall and super fast. that guy, just like vitaly, with a lot of roids would be very terrifying too (we are yet to see a totally roided up version of vitaly btw, dont know if he is willing to do it, If not, I understand him and would do the same)
Imagine Andre the Giant on roids and training armwrestling. This guy would have been unstoppable. His hand size alone would dwarf anyone, including Levan and Denis. It's insane.
CZcams algorithm boosting comment 💪 ... wow, i had to check if this is Vitaly! very good for the sport when more pulllers learn English. we appreciate it 😀
Prime John is not even close to Prime Devon. Prime Devon is his superheavyweight version that faced Levan for a 2nd time after he demolished Georgi Tsvetkov, Denis Cyplenkov and Ermes Gasparini. Prime Cyplenkov vs Prime version of Devon would be a close 50/50 fight right-handed i think. Left-handed prime cyplenkov would still be too strong.
Prime John is John 2006 where he went up in weight up to around 115 kg and easily beat everyone. John even beat Denis in 2008 zloty tur after Denis trained as hard as he ever did at that point with Voevoda, John was only 95 kg that event. Devon was only 120 kg when he faced Levan the 2nd time, hardly a significant super heavy weight.
@@lumina1re329he struggled with Taras Ivakin just a year ago. He soon lost to Devon(I know he was injured but still), he had a little bit of a hard time in a hook with Farit. Also about Denis. Denis said that he twice f up with his prep. (Both times there were too much water retention because of which he got a lot of pump. His peak was way later than even in 2010(when he finally brought normal conditions for John in Zloty))
With all due respect to John, but he has no chance against the above. it was destroyed by the same Devon in 2008. He also lost to Voevoda in 2004 and 2007.@@lumina1re329
@@andreyvolkov3117Denis just said that his peak was around 2013/14, and it is visible too, he didn't struggled with anyone in 2013 and 2014, yea there was Dave but Dave couldn't pin Denis even having such a huge access of side pressure as Denis grips very low. Denis was basically pinning everyone by dad moving them, I would give an example, u can go and search Arsen vs Richard Lupkes, where Arsen defeated Richard and we all know how Denis murdered Arsen's arm. So I think there is no way Prime Denis will not be fav. against Prime Devon, he is heavier too, he can defeat Prime Devon, but there will be literal 50/50 with Ermes (Due to being both stylistically diff. pullers) and Levan.
@@jayclean5653 I don't think so, look Ivan for example, the level is way higher now. People like to romanticize the past, the truth is always different, for example Denis was stronger now fighting with Devon and everyone believes that because he doesn't have the side pressure he had that he is weaker now than back then in his "prime" when he struggled with Lupkes, Dave and Todd LOL 😄
Am I the only one who think these kind of questions are stupid? Its like asking mbappé if he can beat prime zidane or prime ronaldinho. Whats the point? they are one of the best athlete of their era but thats it
I think the problem is always the same and was already debated many times recently, a man of 120 kg can't (and should not be allowed) to fight against a man of 190 kg, this regardless of the strength of each one 😑
I agree with vitaly and by the way, I am not gasparini fan, but I think he has more potential than he shows today. If gasparini did not get scared, he would Win against larrat. I am sure 😎
Healthy shoulder? Am I forgetting something? He had his injury since he was like 13? Like it's impossible by default. (I'd rather buy into a stuff where people say "roided" John Brzenk)
@@andreyvolkov3117 He did yes. But what I am saying is a hypothetical scenario where John Brzenk discovered stem cells in time and got his shoulder completely healthy. He was already a monster in 2006 with a 95% shoulder. Imagine if he was fully healthy and could add another 5%?
@@viktore69 oh I see where're you going buddy. Yeah for sure he would be better. (Still I think Levan would destroy him 6-0. But juice introduction(I mean like grams of juice not TRT/low-dose cycle that John did) with shoulder fix would've made this match somewhat close(with John not even being close to Levan bodyweight))
Prime John’s right was a force to be reckoned with! Prime Denis has had his share of losses with the perfect storm. Hypothetically speaking a 115 KG healthy John would’ve been enough for the back of Levan’s right to kiss the pin pad 6 times in a row. PERIOD.
Prime John would have given a better fight than the Canadian for sure. But Levan is not just big and strong like the guys John has faced in the past ( Lupkes, Cleve Dean...), he's also smart and very technical.
@@ArmwrestlingAbode-ys8pq first of all denis wasnt in his prime when he lost to john. He became much stronger in the following years. And i hate to say it but levan would crush prime john with ease. The weight and strength difference is entirely too much

We all know prime John isn’t touching prime Devon 😂. Way too much respect for the “goat”. Great for his time, but he’s just not touching these super heavyweight monsters that have spawned a new era of strength and full time commitment to armwrestling now. It’s not the same as it was 20 years ago.
Then why is John 10-1 against Jerry and Jerry beat Genadi? Why did John beat prime Lupkes and old man Lupkes gave hell to Denis? Why did John beat prime Farid and Farid gave hell to Vitaly recently? Why did John pull multiple weight classes and win majority of them over the decades? Why did John beat prime Travis in 2005, and Travis beat a stronger Chaffee in 2016? A weaker Chaffee brought Ermes near the pin pad, was up 2-0 against Morozov, was up 2-0 against Genadi, beat Vitaly in 2022. Prime John would be right near the top today. He’s pound for pound the most impressive puller in history.
@@quiet216 John beat most of his opponents when they were newer to the sport while he already had 20+ years experience. Lupkes beat John as well. Denis didn’t start full time armwrestling until after 2010. John pulled when people were all working full time jobs and not taking the sport seriously like they do now. It’s like saying wilt chamberlin is the greatest ever even though he lacked competition his size and talent level. These guys are able to train full time and this is their jobs now. Devon larrat right now in his prime would absolutely destroy any version of John there ever was…with ease. Respect John for what he was…the best of his time (except when he tries to beat the professional wrestler lol 0-3 against him) but once others started getting experience under their belt they all started beating John. The respect factor is very high for John by these guys because they looked up to him. But it’s also the biggest thing that blinds some of them from the truth. Anyone in the top 10-20 guys is dusting John’s best form. I don’t care if that hurts people’s feelings. The truth is all that matters.
@@PrimeA169 When John got in the sport in the early 80s he was beating the legends back then. He consistently kept on going and never stopped. Denis didn’t start full time armwrestling until after 2010? Sounds like an excuse. He was armwrestling at tournaments way back in 2004 all the way up until 2010. John pulled when people were working full time jobs? John is still working a full time job! He always had. People still trained and went to practice all the time. Have a job isn’t a significant issue in this sport. I’m assuming you weren’t around back then. You just see East vs West and see the depth. There were monsters back in the day as well. It was also majority of tournament arm wrestling back then which is harder than supermatches. John pulled multiple weight categories and won majority of the events over the decades. Also stricter reffing back then too. Thats why you never saw Devon at the best tournaments around the world. This is what I think… best of 7 Prime Devon beats Prime John. Best of 5 50/50. Best of 3 prime John wins. Tournament pull John wins. What you said wasn’t the truth. You’re just ignorant on the subject. You probably watched 25% of John Brzenk matches. His arm wrestling career record is estimated 3100-100 win/loss record. Over 45 years of pulling.
@@quiet216 holy essay I read about 5 lines and I had to stop lol. Sounds like an excuse? Denis was a strongman competitor well known up until 2010 and even then still did that part time. Larry wheels competes in tournaments does that make him a full time committed puller? Sounds like you need to educate yourself before you speak anymore. John isn’t even top 10 of all time. Sorry
@@PrimeA169 lmao I just checked your profile. Your that Michael guy. I remember you. Account created 3 months ago. That says a lot. No point in arguing with you! lol.
last question doesn't make much sense. John trained as hard as possible but no more, depending on contemporary opponents. If there was someone like Levan in the past, everyone would have trained harder and become stronger. Look at Devon, how much he improved his sessions, just because of levan. You dont work 8 hours/day if with only 4 you can dominate everyone else.
For now, unfortunately, it seems that match is not going to happen. They are now in 2 different weight catagories and Devon recently has repeated that he doesnt want to be superheavyweight anymore. I only say for now because Devon is bloody loopy so he could eventually change his mind.
I can't belive these kind of comments get likes. Yes, Denis is a legend of our sport, one of the greatest. But Levan wins prime Denis 100/100 matches. He was not as near as dominant as Levan is right now.
Reading these comments has taught me that apparently they don't teach Europeans the difference between the right arm and the left arm. Probably need some educational reform.
It's not in any way, shape, or form a cut on Brzenk to say that Levan would wipe the floor with him in his prime. Levan is *the* strongest right hand armwrestler in the history of the world. He'd lose pound for pound to a lot of guys because he's so massive, but that's not what's being measured.
The real question is, what would happen if you take peak John and stick him on what all the top 10 guys are taking nowadays? My take is that he becomes borderline unbeatable. Levan would be the only one who would stand a chance.
Гаспарини никогда бы не потянул пикового Воеводу, там разница в антропометрии колоссальная. Виталя гонит) Денис явно сильнее в прайме Ларата) а Леван сильнее всех без шансов.
Not sure you can say levon was in his prime more than a few years ago. I don't think John could beat Him of today. too much pure power. I would have loved to seeing John. Scott Norton. although I believe he would have beat John in 1986. but Scott didn't stick around very long. He went to wrestling and I also would have liked to see Lupkes pull Scott Norton around 8889 but it didn't happen. as far as I know. Richard was in over the top and I don't know what place he finished. Scott beat Cleve Dean in the finals

@@AdamLighter1 point of my message was that Devon has no arm power. Arguably strongest hand and wrist but his arm power is garbage. More bicep curls

I like it but will be hard defeat drugs morozov he is denis 2.0, full drugs😂

Vitaly Excellent. Love this guy
So basically in all time peak it goes Levan > Brzenk > Devon > Cyplenkov
Do more like this to all athletes engin.. 😊 its so entertaining to watch❤
not even a question.
but a roided modernized version of cleve dean would be terrifying, that dude with very specialized training and the modern roid abuse thats now common at high level (not saying it didnt happen back then, but now its in a much higher and specialized level) would have the potential to reach the same level of levan.
another guy that with a lot of roids and modern training would be terrifying would be another georgian, zaur tskadadze (levan himself already talked about him btw). looked a lot like vitaly, over 2m tall and super fast. that guy, just like vitaly, with a lot of roids would be very terrifying too (we are yet to see a totally roided up version of vitaly btw, dont know if he is willing to do it, If not, I understand him and would do the same)
Imagine Andre the Giant on roids and training armwrestling. This guy would have been unstoppable. His hand size alone would dwarf anyone, including Levan and Denis. It's insane.
Good luck Vitaly!
Prime Voevoda would destroy everyone except Levan

@@lumina1re329Prime John could never have stopped Levan in the center.
I think prime John will destroy anyone in his category (95-100kg) but noone from nowdays superheavy weights or even 115kg top 5...
Please educate yourself lol
Lmao, John would destroy everyone in the 115kg class. Be serious.

I disagree.
I think the problem is always the same and was already debated many times recently, a man of 120 kg can't (and should not be allowed) to fight against a man of 190 kg, this regardless of the strength of each one 😑
Engin you released from hospital???
I agree with vitaly and by the way, I am not gasparini fan, but I think he has more potential than he shows today.
If gasparini did not get scared, he would Win against larrat. I am sure 😎
Prime John would get absolutely destroyed. Levan has the ultimate weight advantage
I believe we all know the answer we just don't wanna admit it
Correct on all except Dennis vs devon
Amazing video. Do dave
You gotta love Vitaly even if you disagree with the answers. He gave us his honest opinions and I think he's not being biased
John was made for armwrestling! His bone structure, ligaments and tendon strength, hand thickness and thumb size! Prime John destroyed everyone!
It's because Denis was very humble... Is it the reward vitally 😢
Prime left hand Laletin best in history
John wasn’t even in his prime when he beat Prime Denis. He had his shoulder injury then.
A true prime John would beat Levan, it would be close though
pound for pound John far surpassed Levan. But in direct confrontation, Levan is way too big
Prime Gasparini has nothing to do with Pushkar,is current Gasparini who can beat him.

2006 John Brzenk with 100% healthy shoulder would win beat Everyone except Levan.
He would lose 4-2 to Levan but still be the closest to him.
Healthy shoulder? Am I forgetting something? He had his injury since he was like 13? Like it's impossible by default. (I'd rather buy into a stuff where people say "roided" John Brzenk)
@@andreyvolkov3117 His shoulder have never been 100%. But didn’t start to really bother untill 2010.
@@viktore69 yeah I remember that. Didn't he also do shoulder surgery in 2010? (And because of that made it even worse)
PERIOD.
stfu bro levan would rip john apart easily
Another fanboys of prime john alexey denis comment
Prime John would have given a better fight than the Canadian for sure. But Levan is not just big and strong like the guys John has faced in the past ( Lupkes, Cleve Dean...), he's also smart and very technical.
@@ArmwrestlingAbode-ys8pq first of all denis wasnt in his prime when he lost to john. He became much stronger in the following years. And i hate to say it but levan would crush prime john with ease. The weight and strength difference is entirely too much

Prime Bezenk beat Monsters even bigger as Levan. I would go for Bezenk.
now imagine if prime john had the tools we have today to train and get stronger. he would have a good shot against levan.
He don't have the bones and genes to be like Levan
@@pedrobile1488His thumb is as big as Levans, and his bone structure for someone at his weight is absolutely massive. You take prime John and put him on the gear that people are on nowadays, and he'd be fucking scary.

John isn’t even top 10 of all time. Sorry
@@PrimeA169 lmao I just checked your profile. Your that Michael guy. I remember you. Account created 3 months ago. That says a lot. No point in arguing with you! lol.
last question doesn't make much sense. John trained as hard as possible but no more, depending on contemporary opponents. If there was someone like Levan in the past, everyone would have trained harder and become stronger. Look at Devon, how much he improved his sessions, just because of levan. You dont work 8 hours/day if with only 4 you can dominate everyone else.
I dont think Vitaliy understood what prime meant. It sounded like he thought it meant their current shape.
Yeah I guess
good engin, why havent we had a vitally v devon match yet ?
For now, unfortunately, it seems that match is not going to happen. They are now in 2 different weight catagories and Devon recently has repeated that he doesnt want to be superheavyweight anymore. I only say for now because Devon is bloody loopy so he could eventually change his mind.

Right hand it’s very possible. Left hand no.
I would also give Ermes better than 50/50 against Denis right handed
The Devon that beat Ermes would likely take the wrist of prime Denis 2018 and that would be a war.
with 3-4 surges prime Denis would have straightened Larrat's arm.

Levan will Stonewall John and that's true. No debate.

Maybe the only one I disagree with is prime Devon vs prime John, and maybe prime Ermes vs prime Denis.
2006 Brzenk would give levan issues
Гаспарини никогда бы не потянул пикового Воеводу, там разница в антропометрии колоссальная. Виталя гонит) Денис явно сильнее в прайме Ларата) а Леван сильнее всех без шансов.
The Devon that faced levan would absolutely destroy John, any virson of him,

Not sure you can say levon was in his prime more than a few years ago. I don't think John could beat Him of today. too much pure power. I would have loved to seeing John. Scott Norton. although I believe he would have beat John in 1986. but Scott didn't stick around very long. He went to wrestling and I also would have liked to see Lupkes pull Scott Norton around 8889 but it didn't happen. as far as I know. Richard was in over the top and I don't know what place he finished. Scott beat Cleve Dean in the finals
