Am a real Axl's fan, but I must confess that Mr Kennedy is doing a good job
He sounds like a typical American Idol singer. He lacks that unique quality of voice and control handled by classic rock artists. Axl may have lost his vocal cords, but in the same age as Myles Axl was spitting fire and more so on Axl's younger days during the 1985's - onwards.

Anyone who shits on Slash for making mistakes on the solo should check themselves before they criticize. That solo is insanely difficult to begin with on an electric with pickups. The fact that he only made mistakes on about 10% percent of it with an ACOUSTIC guitar is nothing short of INCREDIBLE!

Yes, I learned that solo 2 years ago and I still play that solo but I still struggle on the fast part in acoustic, that part is very hard to nail with acoustic
If you think that solo is even remotely difficult then you really know absolutely nothing about the guitar. What does having pickups do to change his difficult anything is? If you can play then you can play, that's it. Al di Meola never seemed to find it a problem playing without pickups.

I gotta give Slash a lot of credit for playing those solos on acoustic. He misses a few notes here or there, but damn it still sounded awesome.
I think the audience appreciated the struggle. I did too, that aint easy especially trying to keep it together on stage despite missing notes.
Its also a bit of age. if he'd played this set in '92 for example he would have absolutely slayed it.

I think it's amazing and it really shows how talented a guitarist is when they can play one of their intricate riff songs on acoustic guitar without the help of high lead/gain and still sound amazing.
No matter how many times I watch this, I will always be blown away by slash's skill and myles's voice
So much respect for slash playing that solo on acoustic which is objectively harder. Some performers will try to dumb down hard parts but he just flies right in there.
I love how at 4.16 Myles just nods at the crowd as they start cheering. like "yup, he is amazing indeed".

It's not about making a mistake, its about how legend he is making that solo. You can criticize all you want but try to make your own solo with that same chord as Sweet child of mine solo part. I bet that Slash's solo is the best.
