Glad yoiu enjoyed London, three days is not enough. I was born 66 years ago and worked in the city most of my life. Now I am retired I still travel there a lot (with my camera) as a ‘tourist’ to enoy the city. Hope you get the opportunity to come back and (while you are in the UK), do travel outside the City as you will find it very different and lots more to enjoy.
And, sorry about the rain, Feb/March was the wettest it has been in the UK since records began, so it’s not always like that!
You're absolutely right three days is not enough time to enjoy London. We had so much fun (despite the rain) and I know we'll visit again soon.
Next time in London try dishoom for Indian food🎉😘😘😘
I just looked it up and the food looks delicious. I will definitely be adding this to my must-go-to places when I return to London
Paddington in Peru is an upcoming live-action animated adventure comedy film directed by Dougal Wilson, written by Mark Burton, Jon Foster and James Lamout, with a story by Paul King, Simon Farnaby, and Burton. Based on the stories of Paddington Bear, created by Michael Bond, it is intended to be the third installment in the Paddington film series, and a sequel to Paddington (2014) and Paddington 2 (2017). The film stars Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington, with Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, Olivia Colman, Antonio Banderas and Carla Tous in supporting roles.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful video
You’re welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊
I'd think the science museum may be better for kids. It's free too, but there are payable hands on exhibitions for kids.
We may have missed the more interactive kids exhibits (the museum is huge). There were a ton of school trips taking place the day we visited. However, When our daughter gets older and we visit again we’ll have to go back.
What is a dreek day?
Dreich (a Scottish Gaelic word, pronounced “dreek”) means dreary or bleak weather, usually with some form of spitting rain. Sunshine is rare, and dreich is the norm. So pack your wellies and raincoat, and throw on a beanie, and carry on!
Thank you for sharing all this interesting facts. I definitely was unaware of this information prior to visiting London. Next we travel in the winter we will definitely pack from the dreek weather lol
Carnaby Street derives its name from Karnaby House, which was built in 1683 to the east. The origin of the name is unknown. The street was probably laid out in 1685 or 1686. First appearing in the ratebooks in 1687, it was almost completely built up by 1690 with small houses. A market was developed in the 1820s.
This area is notable for a cholera outbreak in 1854 that led to an early application of fundamental epidemiological principles to resolve the crisis. John Snow, the physician who recognised the cases were concentrated near a pump on Broad Street (later renamed Broadwick Street), communicated the finding on a topographical display. This led to the pump being locked, after which the reduction in cases of cholera was rapid.

Really enjoyable video.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊
Thanks for sharing your experience. My family is planning a trip there for the first time, so I am trying to gather as much info as I can.
You’re welcome, I’m glad it was helpful 😊 You’re going to have so much fun.
Something I would recommend fitting in your schedule that I wasn’t able to do is the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace. It only happens on certain days, so I would recommend researching the days and times to make sure you don’t miss it.
Beautiful trip!!
Thank you! We had a great time 😊
Glad you enjoyed your stay in my home town despite the weather.
Your hometown is awesome and I can’t wait to visit again someday 😊
Hi Daniels, very nice blog and your little one is so cute. most definitely come back summer time when the weather gets nicer.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it 😊
the rain was not letting us be our best during this trip but I’m definitely looking forward to visiting in the summer some day in the future
Be sure to visit in summer next time, well worth the extra money.
Thank you for the suggestion. We are definitely considering that. We had a great time but the rain definitely impacted our plans. Going in the summer may help us to avoid the rain
Oh no, you were so unlucky with the weather. You know we get less rain in London than LA. LOL
Also Fish & Chips in a pub is a no-no. But hope you had fun!
What?!?! I definitely thought fish and chips at a pub was a standard thing in London lol I won’t do that again when I visit the next time
I@@jaleesa.daniels_ i agree with the comment above, for proper traditional fish and chips head to a local chippy (chip shop) 😊
@@belle8597 Thank you for sharing that, I didn't know chip shops were a thing. I will definitely add that to my list of places to visit the next time we're in London 🙂
@jaleesa.daniels_ fish and chip shops are everywhere ☺️ restaurant fish and chips are a sad imitation 😆 may I suggest that you travel outside of London and visit other parts of the British Isles such as Cornwall 😍 the Cotswolds, Bath, York, Wales which is part of the British Isles but are their own country is stunning also.
Omg I wish I had known about these fish and chip shops while I was in London. Definitely looking forward to exploring other parts of the country in the future and visiting a proper fish and chip shop lol
