My dad has been living there since October 2016 and crime has been up a lot since COVID. I don’t know 🤷♂️ if I ever met you when you were living there, but my dad doesn’t have any complaints about it. I’ve slept over at his place once a month and got bitten by bed bugs once in a while. There is a new apartment complex being built behind the 211 , but this is the cheapest place to rent an apartment here in Vegas now. There’s a lot of sex offenders here in Vegas, it’s creepy to me. I’ve seen this video a lot and know it’s in need of a renovation in my opinion. Thank you so much for sharing this video, born and raised here in Vegas myself ❤️
As a woman, I was horrified to learn that my apartment building usually houses one or two Registered S. Offenders at any given time. It's an old hotel in downtown L.A. renovated into microflats. I moved in when it opened 12 years ago. No felons were allowed, so I assumed there would never be any. 3 years ago, I decided to look at the registry... and there was my address with the face of a tenant! Gross. He's old and obese, I wasn't personally worried.
A year later, the management moved in another one: Young, fit, handsome and charming. He was a Level 3. Only 3% of all RSOs in California are Level 3. (The other guy doesn't even have a level.) Mercifully, he moved again within several months- to a house with 14 other RSOs. Our building has a different live-in manager every few years, so I think the decision comes from the corporate company that employs them.
You do know that if you look on the six offender registry, there’s gonna be people literally in every block around you that was absolutely the worst area that you could possibly move in. All it would’ve taken even if you’re not from Vegas to do a quick Google search and you would’ve found that out. Anything in downtown Las Vegas is going to be sketched like this. And if you find rent is cheap, there’s usually a reason why. note to everyone if you’re considering moving to Vegas. Do not move anywhere where it has a number as the street name. That means it’s in downtown area stay out of that area. It’s hands-down one of the most dangerous areas in Las Vegas as it’s in old North Las Vegas or sunrise mountain stay away from all of those areas. The paradise area around UNLV is not that great either neither need to go to Henderson Summerlin or the new North Las Vegas off of the 215 by the Aliante station is safe. But let’s just all be reasonable here it’s Vegas. It’s a big city. We have lots of homeless and transient unless you make good money you’re gonna be living in a bad area.

I've been thinking of moving to vegas for a while and probably will later this month. While searching online, I saw the 211 listed. It looked pretty nice but I decided to do a little research and am glad that I found your video! Sounds like a real heap of crap! Thanks for the heads up!

I lived there in summer 2019 to Feb 2020 before Covid. I remember all those fire alarms. Smh when I lived there it wasn’t that bad. I lived on the 3rd floor. Glad I was there for a short while. I was waiting for my new house getting built and I just needed to stay some where for a couple months. I had a 6 months lease then paid month to months till my house was finish building.
Yeh the fire alarms were the most annoying, yeh I lived there for 2 yrs and by the end of it I couldn’t wait to leave!

Its funny you said it being a cheap place meaning "you usually get what you pay for" in other words if you are living at the cheapest place thats Usually the quality you get. Of course now everything is expensive. I did the same buying my first - cheapest house I could find. It was a "cheap" neighborhood. I said that a long time ago so it got me when you also said that. Thanks for the infor - its much needed.

@@carolinelopez91 as cheap as possible tbh. i only bring in maybe $2,200/m after taxes. i’ve looked at places in vegas but they’ll advertise one price and it comes out $300 more a month with random fees, renters insurance, etc. i’m about to give up tbh
@@krinscash6084 yes unfortunately with Vegas they like to add stupid fees. I did a video about the “calm on rainbow” it’s new construction with no resort fees. Only if you would like but I’ve made a couple of videos of the apartments here in Vegas. I’ll be showing much more next week aswell, I show how far everything is etc 😊

Hello I’m currently livin at the 211 signed a 18 month lease it’s super small for the amount I pay not worth it for me , I’m currently dealing with a tenant who has threatened me twice I was still waiting on management to give me his apt number an name so I can give to the authorities but it’s been a month and I’ve encountered this individual once again , this time he’s nearly ran me over with his car right outside the 211 still management has not giving me any camera footage or names of the tenant, residents have said the cameras don’t work , is that true ? And I definitely don’t feel safe anymore , is there a way I could get my deposit back and leave because I’m feeling unsafe , I haven’t gone out of room because of it
Yeh good luck with getting any money back! They are the worst people to deal with! And yes the cameras do NOT work at all!! My best advice is that you get some legal advice… but we signed an 18 month lease and it was the worst decision we ever made!!!! Horrible customer service just horrible!!!!

@@Iluvroadtripps yes it’s sad to say but there is no way you will get those footage… you yourself would have to film it! And yes they will not allow you to walk away without them stealing your money! If you decide to break the lease you would have to pay a lot!!!

Yes a lot of homeless people going into the back stairs and sleep, now that it's cold. While we lived there my laundry got stolen and never returned, the office does nothing at all. And the homeless people are not the friendliest they will harass you while you walk to the small store around the corner. Plus there is a church right across the 211 and every Monday they give free food out so there will be a lot of homeless around and there trash everywhere.

Yikes! I guess I'm not going there. But yeah I'm single 42 years old and I have 2 dogs a min pin and a shi tzu. I'm retired from the Army and my pension is $3988 a month and I do doordash on the side because I love Marijuana too much...lol! What do you think I should go for if I did move out there? I don't require much just a nice quiet place to live I guess.

So I am a single guy looking to live there my rent would be a little under $800 and it’s 170sqft and it’s just me. I hate living in my parents house. Pass or give it a try? I saw the place and the upper floors had a strange smell in the hallways I almost couldn’t breathe. Also when was your guys last month there?
we where there 2 years ago, I have read all the reviews since then and it still hasn't gotten any better. I would say keep looking but ultimately it's your decision if it fits your budget. ☺

Yeh he lived there for 3 years and moved out a month before i did, but the the guy that works at the convenience store is a sex offender.. and my apartment never got broken into because it wasn’t near the road.. but a good friend did live near the road and he’s apartment got broken into twice.

It's sad to have sex offenders living amongst us, but let's all be compassionate towards everyone. Everyone deserves a second chance. I believe there are the worst people who live amongst us, just that we don't know about. Let's not judge a person on their past. We all have a past.

@@deemax1948 unfortunately the 211 is the only apartment in that area with this price range, everything else is above $1000. To me the 211 would be perfect because of their price, but it's not the safest apartment to live in. Try the 'Stax apartments' or the KLA CAPITAL
