His name: “John Gary” He was Elvis Presley’s favorite ballad singer -superior to Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Johnny Mathis , Tony Bennet. Sadly, he passed away at age 66 ( born in 1932) but his legacy of over 20 LPs and over 140 pop songs will live on forever. I’m going to offer you 6 songs that should touch your heartstrings.
The first is “ once upon a time” unique and recognizable and his 4 octave vocal range reaches the celestial angelic realm. Next, “ the sound of music“ where he sustains notes only the angels can and ends it where his voice merges with the violin.
