I do not comment on youtube but I will like to say that baba Obey is a LEGEND. For someone to have sung a song for the past 40 to 50 years and still remembers the key, I open my cap, Sir. Thanks to these reasonable and wonderful artists, great work!

I remember Olaitan and Dexter dissecting Ebenezer Obey's harmonies at V. V. rehearsals back in OOU(2004). Olaitan finally realized the dream🙌
Sitting here in Canada watching this on a Friday afternoon..couldn't help this tears flow it reminds me of my childhood and my dad especially, Obey a is legend, memories of this will linger all my life time. Love you Evangelist Ebenezer Obey.
To say he’s a LEGEND is an understatement and I don’t have a better way to describe him, so I have to agree with you. Additionally, he’s also an ICON and a very rear GEM. I wish I have some kind of power to turn him back to his youthful age and see him remix all his melodies. I am jealously guiding the live play he had in Chicago in 2013 or thereabout. I was shocked and nearly collapsed when I had about the rumor of his demise. I pray God continue to keep him alive and healthy for us.

My everlasting Ebenezer Obey song is Olo mi gbo temi. My wife and I still call this song our song. It calms both of us down anytime. These are definitely legendary songs.

Baba Obey is a living legend. His music was God inspired from the very beginning. It was a great pleasure meeting him in a church gathering 1999/2000 in London.
