Ford fu beccato mentre ad un salone dell'auto dell'epoca, ora non rammento l'anno, si era steso sotto una Lancia Aprilia ad osservarne e studiarne le sospensioni

This is my favorite car when I was a child....the rear lights are impressive and all front side is aggressive....this rare car was often object of rubbery for its velocity and performances useful to escape to police cars ( at that time the italian Police was equipped with Alfa Romeo Giulia....other great car).......Ciao Nicola from IT

I was sold when at the start up with that exhaust note, and then again when he started driving. I love that mechanical shifting, and the way you have to drive the car, not just point and go like some of the modern cars (they can be fun too).

Seems to me the engine was not entirely up to the right temperature when he went for the high revs. Not something you wanna do with a light alloy engine block.

Incredible! Not an awkward line or a bad angle anywhere to be found! Giorgetto Giugiaro is a 20th century Da Vinci! And some suitably mad-modded mechanicals under the skin. I'd rather have this than any current Ferrari production model. Though this might not be all that much cheaper, lol

Anni 1976 1977 tutti gt elaborati ma una in particolare gta 2000 tutta in alluminio Con 2 candele per cilindro con marmitte senza silenziatori che uscivano a meta' sportello che bei ricordi e' che auto dei mostri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sequential gearbox has little to do with that car. A restomod should have its guidelines ald limits too
I kinda like that 'crying' sound from the sequential gearbox, I think it fits well to that rev-happy italian engine.

Aspects of this I like: The chassis from all angles, except from the back, where rectangular fuel cell is visible below bumper; The interior looks great, and vintage. Aspects I do not like: The Motor, dry clutch ?, fly-wheel/exhaust sounds are terrible, janky, & not Alfa Romeo at all. The sequential gear-box/clutch: Not Alfa Romeo...; The Tach. and Speedo. are non-functional, bouncing around.
Suggestions: Put an Abbarth exhaust on it and re-tune, so it sounds like an Alfa Romeo... . Get a fuel cell with rounded bottom to match contours of the Alfa chassis. Fix Tachometer and Speedometer, or lube the associated cables. Re-post this when you have those things sorted. Woyld love to see. Cheers.
Personalmente non sono d'accordo con alcuni stravolgimenti, ma questa macchina ha carattere da vendere è stupenda e sicuramente va come un missile! vorrei tanto stringere la mano al proprietario!
That’s a Giulia GTA, not a GTV.
It is a gtv as you can see when compairing the door handles, the lightweight gta didn't have the doormhandles on the putside like that. It is probably a replica with the wider body
@@janivo5218 Not entirely correct. The maggiorata version (GTAm) had similar door handles to the GTV and GT. But I can see your point.

I am amazed to see it´s in Miami. I live in Broward and own a 2018 Giulia Sport, I´d love to see this magnificent car in the street. I can see you were around the SR836, I drive a lot to MIA because I used travel a lot, I wish I could see this car one day in the highway.
My dream is one day to buy a classic Alfa Romeo, maybe a ´73 Giulia Super or a Sprint one. I am a big Alfa Romeo fan.

Elias, for the english speaking markets the name seems to have stuck as GTV [don't know how it was actually marketed there when it was sold] but when they say/write GTV you have to think a Giulia GT Veloce, not the following Alfetta GTV you're used to think if you're continental Europe.

lol 1970 alfaromeo GT ! however the engine came out form a different car 1987 t0 1992 alfatomeo 75 twin spark! they all wore 2 liter twin spark fuel inject but some one put two carburator on this one for a better sound! its sound just like every alfaromeo in italy until i herd that junk transmission driving down the high way! SORRY!!!! They wore a few option on that model back in the day 1300 liter 1750 liter and a 2000 liter .How do i know all this i grue up with all the above !
Somebody was selling me this car, but not in this mint condition on 1997 for 1500 euros because he wanted to get rid of the “old garbage” as he called it. I still bang my had to the wall for not buying it back then. Now the owner is selling it for more than 30.000 euros

Da Alfista dico che snaturare un mito come l'Alfa GTV col cambio sequenziale è come far cantare ''Imagine'' a Gigi D'alessio. Certe cose vanno rispettate. Passi l'iniezione elettronica (anche se Twin Spark a carburatori ha il suo perchè e il sound è nettamente diverso) ma il sequeltial gearbox assolutamente NO .

Per il cambio: è un'auto da corsa, con slick e carreggiata maggiorata, non lo trovo snaturante. Per l'iniezione, lei è Alfista, dovrebbe ricordare che i GT della Giulia in America venivano venduti solo con alimentazione ad iniezione. La trovo tutt'altro che snaturata, è bella, semplice, non ha fronzoli, molto veloce e rispetta il cuore Alfa Romeo. Io se avessi la possibilità la farei un'auto così, e non credo che sarebbe meno Alfa.
Io sono Alfista e sinceramente questo signore non ha snaturato proprio niente. Ha semplicemente adattato la sua Alfa alla corsa. Le Alfa sono anche queste, pronte a scendere in pista a far mangiar la polvere ai concorrenti.... non ha di certo installato un v8 americano quindi non avete motivo di accusarlo... dai vostri commenti e senza offesa, trasuda l’invidia.
Pareri che rispetto ovviamente, il progresso deve fare il suo cammino, ma per me che le ho vissute sentire il sequenziale col ruggito del blocco alfa non è lo stesso che sentire il seconda terza con la grattata..( ahahahah) . Poi tutto fa brodo. Cordialità.

Considerata IMMATURA per l'epoca dove anche BOSCH era agli albori , non ebbe successo in Europa per gli eccessivi costi di gestione e le improvvise perdite di carburante (ricordo la Alfetta Quadrifoglio Oro II serie). Rispetto il Vostro punto di vista d'altro canto. Cordialità.
