Jerma seems like the type of contestant who goes on and answers the first question with full smirking confidence and gets it wrong and the rest of the episode is a different contestant
Jerma bragging about having a million neurons reminds me of my little niece who, when she wants to emphasize that she’s REALLY good at something, will say she’s “a thousand good” at it.
That million dollar question is fucked. Even going to look into the answer for real, you'd have to understand that they're only counting the theatrical releases (including the 1 live-action movie) plus the direct-to-video releases that are at least 70 minutes long. The 67 minute long one? Doesn't count. That's the only way to quantify them that adds up to 10. But nobody in their right mind would explicitly remember not only ALL of those movies, but know the runtimes of all the direct-to-video releases and understand that 70 minutes was often considered the cutoff point for a full-length film but only as a rule of thumb because there aren't hard rules on that. Complete bullshit question.
@@Otakupatriot117 I just checked it out on Wikipedia. There are 5 animated feature films, plus the live action Christopher Robin film. Then exactly 4 direct-to-video films have runtimes of 70 minutes or more: Pooh's Grand Adventure (1997), Seasons of Giving (1999), The Book of Pooh (2001), and Super Duper Super Sleuths (2010). 4 just totally arbitrary home videos. There are 5 other home videos with too short of runtimes to count. And it HAS to be those movies, including the live action one. Because the next longest runtime of a direct to video release is 67 minutes, but there are 2 of them with that. So if you cut the live action one out (so 9 total) the next thing to add would actually put you at 11. So again, you'd never EVER get this question unless you not just knew ALL of these films, but the runtimes and the unofficial qualification for them to be 70 minutes minimum. Oh and by the way for maximum bullshit, 2 of the theatrically released films are 68 minutes and 63 minutes long, falling below that line. So I guess you could cut the live-action and the 63 minute one, and arbitrarily make the cutoff 67 minutes to still count to 10. Because it's all total nonsense.
Exactly, the only way to get 10 out of the 15 released is if you DON'T count the five direct to video ones that are under 70 minutes long, but DO count the two theatrical releases that are under 70 minutes, because... they were in theaters so they count by default I guess? This is a bullshit question, good lord.
As a British person I can tell people that yes 'too many cooks spoil the broth' is a real often said saying but no one on this fucking planet has ever said 'before you can say Jack Robinson' before.

"The human brain contains 86 billion neurons" Editors notes correcting Jerma's claim that human brains are packed with trillions of neurons was the cherry on top of the whole million neurons bit.
whoever made these manga questions is on to some pretty tricky stuff. Gunnm is known as "Battle Angel Alita" in the west, so someone might answer that question as "Alita" because that's her name in English, but her name is actually Gally in Japanese. I wonder who they hired to make these manga questions.
Even during the Pink Panther question, I myself went "Oh yeah, because he's trying to steal the PINK PANTHER DIAMOND, so it's the name of the thief." Then realised what I just did after Jerma answered the question.
The funniest thing about this game is that the protagonist is constantly saying things like “I’d stake my life on it” when you are the least sure you’ve ever been about anything in your entire life
I love that this stream can be summarized as jerma being asked a question, having 100% confidence in his answer, debating the answer for 10 minutes, then getting it wrong anyway
Reminds me of the time when I phoned Jerma for help on the million dollar question. He just played a scream and fart compilation in the mic for 30 straight seconds for the live audience to hear. Needless to say, I did not in fact win the million dollars.
Jerma's patchwork knowledge of basic history and pop culture are genuinely astonishing. He could know the most archaic bullshit, but also may never seen Ukulele spelled.
I would guess that a mother sauce is a sauce used for making other sauces. But hollandaise does not seem to fit that definition? Or is that one also used for making other sauces? I am confused.
@theuncalledfor I think you're pretty much correct about what a Mother Sauce is, and Hollandaise is one of the five. I looked it up because I remember this game not always being correct about which answers are right and wrong (and 'cause I didn't know what a Mother Sauce was =)).
i love how you can clearly see and hear Jerma pause and wait for the right answers from his twitch chat, until they purposefully give him the wrong answers haha
