Yes I agree with this! I was going to say as a kid I would sneak food in my room in the middle of the night, and this allows them to have a healthy relationship with food.
I asked for a mini fridge on Christmas when I was his age, and it was probably one of the best gifts I ever got. I'm moving out now and the one I have tripled in price so I thank the younger me so much because of it.
