Man im hooked on your videos,i get to relive my earlier days from 1970s through 1990s. It was 1973 when my dad told me to go help Ian Svisdahl fall trees into cascade inlet. He had a stihl 070 with 42 inch bar. No undercuts,he used the westcoast style cut on the mostly 3 to 4 ft diamter cedar trees.he was very skilled at it and a very high percentage of the trees flew through the air and down between the forest path landing in the saltchuck.Later in life Ian retired to his wcb inspector job up in fort nelson. Sadly he is no longer with us but just l8ke your excellent video my memory of Ians tree falling is a great memory to have. All the best to you on your forest journey
When these trees get airborne, gravity takes over and counteracts the best aim. That last tree was hardly holding together. Scary.
