Do you know what happens, when you build up reserves with this technique with less than 10 wumpa fruit and then sometime later drive over a blue fire pad? Does it just upgrade your boost to blue fire and you still have that huge amount of reserves from before?
@@the_verTigO Yes. The reserve system itself isn't connected to your fire level, so you can easily use it beforehand and then drive over a blue fire pad.
So it’s basically the golden mushroom but it’s in CTR
but infinite 😳
If you have the engine item with 10 wumpas, you can still spam the accel button if you already have blue fire, so for example, if you get the engine item with 10 wumpa fruits on Oxide Station and you don't have blue fire yet, wait until you hit the super turbo pad for blue fire, then spam the engine item with 10 wumpas, if you have sacred fire or any lower tier boost, the engine item with 10 wumpas does not work and will kill your reserves once it runs out. The engine item that's not juiced up, you can spam it with a few regular boosts or higher.

Also i have went back to the OG CTR to see how it feels and OM MY GOSH! it felt so STIFF!!! Beenox refined this game so well and i cant learn back the OG CTR mechanics like i used to know them....
Additionally... i also went back to compare the time trial differences between the versions, since my research on them turn out to be fruitless. So, i roughly crossed the finish line as the ghosts did... so here are the time difference of only CTR tracks to those who are a bit curious like i was.

actually you can do it with the juiced super engine, you need to hit a blue fire pad of equal or higher tier and it will still work with a juiced super engine. this has been in the game for some time now.

Isn't there like a cheat code of the super engine? I think that would have been easier to do offline.
Yup but if you activate that cheat in offline, you won’t be able to gain wumpa coins and achievements

This time I can actually try this exploit, instead of beenox patching it in 2 seconds(not an attack, its honestly a good thing)
Sinaa Balkhi IKR, CGE keeps letting Beenox know about great metas of this game and now they’ll patch it because of him!!
It’s been around since the item was added to races and people weren’t quiet about it. If they were going to remove it then this would have been removed a few months ago.

*This is not an exploit* If it was they could patch already. Beenox added this FEATURE for noob people online who can't even learn basics of the game.
I find it funny people NEED this to play they can't just learn how to race. It's no fun if people go using this to ruin the online experience.

I basically knew about the infinite boost trick ever since the Winter Festival Grand Prix.
Same, and I don't find it useful at all - and it's useless for velo times or WR's
@@naed_coral It's only useful if you go over a boost pad. But that's about it.
@@naed_coral I mean you shouldnt need tricks for a WR anyways. But a similar trick can be used to beat Velo's ghost on Cortex Castle where you get an almost infinite amount of blue fire there.

I've been doing this since they added the super engine.
You can also do something similar jumping repeatedly on a turbo pad in some tracks, but isn't really useful, search oxide's time trial without powersliding cortex castle.
Is interesting to see some of the weird ways the reserve system works.

I thought this was common knowledge on the internet within the first week it was introduced to online.
I used to freaking murdered people on Papu's Pyramid thanks to this thing. It was otherwise quite hard to touch that turbo pad without touching the wall and it allows you to take that shortcut through the grass without losing reserves.
And here was I hoping I could use an exploit to beat Velo...
Well, at least I can farm coins a little faster with this.

Well, you can actually, at Cortex Castle.
Just do 18 hops on the blue fire pad while facing the wall and you get infinite Blue Fire.

I love the Super Engine because you can get blue fire on non blue fire enabled tracks.
It's not a real blu fire because speed is too low xD

I would still love to have a reserves meter in the gauge cluster. Also, do we know if the reserves are finite or does it just keep stacking forever? This exploit would seem to indicate reserves can be stacked to unlimited levels provided you have the means.

Hey CGE, new content for CTR has dropped today, New characters, new skins, new karts, and dev times have been added.
I really want the Nitro Kart boost gauge to come into CTRNF. :(
I know this is more of a remake of CTR than CNK but I've always loved the boost gauge of CNK due to how it's near the center of the screen, making it easier to focus on the gameplay, instead of having to look at the corner of the screen while racing. I doubt they'll add the CNK boost gauge into the game, but I still hope it comes in next update.

starforcenetwork no + it’s not really consistent like normal boost gauge, some people don’t want to fully focus on their wheels more than the track itself!!
You can also do that via battle mode in the original CTR PS1 game too!

Now after this last grand prix ended all the items that people missed in the others grand prix will be available to everyone to purchase in the pit stop? Because I really missed a lot of them since halloween grand prix!

It only appears in battle mode, online battle, and online races, not sure if it appears in offline races

I mentioned this prior in 250crash video and no one could explain the exploit or just didn't want to explain, honestly I hope they patch it as its pretty broken and a great amount of skill goes out the window

Yeah found out how to do this a whileeeeee ago. Works even better on a super pad. Sometimes you go so fast its hard to control

Can you still jump/drift/U-turn while enjoying infinite reserves or would that kill it (thinking about tracks like Dragon Mines and such where U-turning is necessary)?
It is the same as driving over a lot of boost pads so you only lose it if you get hit or hit a wall.

See this is all great and everything for free race and cup races but when it comes to time trial mode and adventure mode we can’t use the super engine which makes the game even harder and dumb :( I wanted see how we can do a turbo boost for a long time without using the super engine but I guess I’m watching wrong video, either way I liked this video because even though I didn’t find what I wanted I still learned something new.

you know this is months old right? also its "blue fire" is fake. its the same speed as a standard boost pad.
Super Engine is the only powerup that hinders players as opposed to helping them. No powerup should have a "trick" to it; it should just do its job and help you.

@Pedro Correa Valdes maybe it's because I'm not connected to the internet? I've never played online mode and I don't have a Nintendo membership, however I did go over to my parents and connect to the internet once and downloaded all eight tracks of the new Grand Prix just recently. I had to get them somehow because I love this game so much. As much as I hate the cheating AI I love the game. But either way I still have never seen that engine and I am in arcade mode, beating all the challenges for all the new tracks

One thing I hate about CRT Racing it is not the same as from PS1 era, Half of boosts that you used to get on ocations, specially if you are last one you almost never get them now. For example blue sphare that knocke everyone out in the front of you or time clock. It is bs

Fire Hedgehog the players in the front can’t get this item and don’t need it either. Besides people have been doing this for months.

What have you been playing? This is the most frequent powerup I get in any mode.
Its a catchup power up for when you 're behind. Says a lot about your racing.

I get it even when I'm in the top 3 for your information, and for a catch up powerup, it does jack shit.
We'd be better off if Super Engine was removed from race mode altogether and Clocks and Warp Orbs were made more frequent. Just so those of us who are constantly weapon spammed actually have a fair chance to catch back up.

Nice try, but it's not like the clock or the orb. You get superboost even when you're like 3rd. Also рiss оff, have you seen people who race online? They're married to this game. No way I forgo touching grass for as long as it takes to race like them

This is such an old technique lol. I hope they never patch it. It's the only use of this item. Without this mechanic, this item hinders you more than anything, especially the juiced up version.
I use this technique all the time. I get giddy when I get it on a blue fire track lol.

This is extremely old news this was discovered in the back n time Grand Prix and it isn’t really that great the speed from the item doesn’t allow you to stack speed with super turbo pads and you lose it if you get a boost from drifting or trick jumps it’s hardly an exploit if anything it put you at a disadvantage sense your stuck at that speed ans cannot powerslide or get trick jump boosts.
Sounds like the weaker cousin of the OG Ultimate Sacred Fire in OG CTR since you can cancel it with normal boosts in that game.
cmsunite it’s honestly slower than regular turbo pads so using this “exploit” would definitely make you slower not faster it’s a glitch not exploit in my opinion

Honestly, i wouldnt use it. I dont need an exploit to win my races... i can do them even without items most of the time, so there is no need for it in my case.
