Crimson Fly by Huma-Huma
Love the fact you checked your harness afterwards!!! Don't blame you buddy. That was funny.
Great teamwork and crew sync
True Professionals, as always. Great clip.
Spontaneous reactions are the best ... love yours and afterwards Jon's ! It made my day ! Thanks for sharing !!!
Thank you for letting me live vicariously. Love watching you guys live my dream job
You three make a really good team. It's nice to see three people work so well together with no drama!
Another great video!! Shaun, the window shade ordeal scared the crap out of me too. I thought something hit the window. I had a laugh at Jon and his reaction. Keep those great video's coming..!!!
Nice flight, thanks & Regards.
I love the Monterey area ..lived in Santa Cruz for a few years and truly loved hanging out on the coast..never get tired of the waves the rocks the sea life or the big sur trees the golf or the food..
40 min video... thank you!!!!
Thanks for another great video. I’m sure the longer videos create more editing work for you, Shaun, but your fans hope you keep ‘em coming!
Watched the part with the window blind at least 6 times now, still laughing! Would have frightened the cra out of most people I guess.
Thanks again for another great video.
regards
gareth
Thank you for sharing a little bit of your life seeing what you do when you have a little time . It’s nice to see different places that I will probably never get to see thank you for sharing.
Love Jon's wardrobe choice for site seeing! Super causal athletic shorts and slides!
I love this vlog. I spent so much time in these areas...great
Excellent crew communication
Jon showing his River Dance moves 🤪
You and john are really funny together. You're two are the most fun to watch
This was a great video. Thank you guys!
Thanks for coming by SNA guys! Next time you should try ACI Jet if you get any input into that, I fly a super-mid based there and I vastly prefer their service and prices to Atlantic. And you see the problem with their ramp as well :)
Thanks for the video upload. Happy KSAN didn't get squeezed in at the end of the video. Looking forward to the arrival into KSAN. Hoping to see the departure, too.
Good you keep the seats cozy for the clients....
Wow beautiful seeing great camera work thx.
Been waiting for SNA. Got my PPL there. Such a fun airport with the mix of the airliners, beautiful corporate jets, and trainers. Can’t wait to see San Diego. My favorite video yet!
Enjoyed the different Intro before the shade release.. ha.. At the end you sure took your time setting the sade after departure.. ha.. Great Stuff..
Love that you guys share these moments. Yes, that was startling and I can see why it could cause “poopy pants”! 😄
very nice flight thanks
That was great. The window shade was so funny. Could only have been topped if John had gone for a loop when walking in the river.
Awesome
Videos, thank you for sharing.
John's laugh made me laugh even more.
Another awesome video guys
Nice smooth calm reaction Jon while Grabbing the throttles and thinking wtfwt 🤔
Nice video. Like the ILS approach in to Santa Ana. Wow on the parked aircraft. There were quite a few. Went back and watched the shade screen incident a couple of times. I think most people in that situation would have dropped a brick too....See ya next time.
Thanks for the reply. Safe flying guys! Enjoy your weekend 😎 Chip
very nice. Thanks for sharing
Vamonos! Thanks for sharing!
Great videography on the coast.
The River inn is a good tip need to take a ride on the coast highway and make a stop.
Finally cleaned off the windscreen bug guts. Funny at the shade auto retract.
I enjoy your videos very much.... keep them coming.
Another great video! I laughed so hard when the screen let go I had tears.
About 45 years ago I was given the job of making the coffee on an RAF HS125 and I opened the can of powered milk with the end of a spoon. The milk erupted like a volcano and milk powder went everywhere. I though that we had decompressed and was the only person on board who wasn't laughing.
The “Shade Incident” as it will come to be known, will go down as THE funniest thing I’ve seen ! There’s an old song “Blowing In The Wind” and should be the theme song for this segment. Awesome guys, LMAO !
Love what you do! Keep up the video.
@31:11 Love all the picture in a picture edits on the approaches.
Two amazing professionals! It's like watching Steph Curry and Kevin Durrant "Doing Work". Thank you John and Shaun. You're inspiring.
I think it is clever how they built the checklists into the FMS!
I can’t imagine what went through your head when that visor flipped back. Well, I can.
Funny vid. Great job as always, gentlemen! Favorite channel!
Shaun, I could hear your heart beat race through my headset! I jumped a little my self.
Nothing fell window shade hadn't been latched properly ..... such a hoot !!
Add window shade to the check list. Pulled and Latched, Check!
No kidding!
Great video. You're a great team. The window shade would have scared anyone!
Like always great videos Guys and thanks for showing a peak of Santa Catalina Island. That was my #1 place for the $100 dollars Burger, Yes the buffalo Burger. Now I live in North Carolina and that is the only thing I miss from Los Angeles. But, I do not miss the Traffic and the pollution.
Shaun, I was watching the first of this vid, and with your sunglasses on you remind me of Agent Smith, I almost waited for you to say with a long drawl, "Mr. Anderson." Thanks for these videos, so many of us are living vicariously through these! they never get old!!!
Love your videos!!
We parked next to that G-550 with the palm tree painted on the tail(N528AP) in BOS the other day.
That tail is based in Provo where I'm at so we get to see it all the time :D
Great to see the flying of course, but thanks for sharing the sights of the places you visit , just fantastic :) funny seeing Shaun's reaction to the sun shield, glad it was not on final with him in flying it , that would've been quite interesting.
My favorite west coast airports. Sorry I didn’t know you guys were at SNA. Atlantic always the best - enjoy seeing what’s going in and out.
When next in the Carmel Highlands eat at the Highlands Inn's Lochinvar Room. Five Stars. Rather than dangle your feet in a random stream, take a few hours soak at the Tassajara Hotsprings or, on the coast, at the Essalen Institute hotsprings. At Essalen, you can hot soak, climb out and run down to the ocean for the cold plunge. Oh ... the seals are rocking it because this is Great White and Orca season in these waters. I'm sure you guys gave ;-D))) a great flight.
Love the camera angles on the last take off! More of that view please :-)
Great video....keep making them and please show your layover vlog..thanks
My son little plane he has, the door flew off! but he was only 2000 feet up, not 32,000. Glad you stayed in your seat!
Sweet Vid Guy's.......
I'm drooling over that G650 in the video.
You and me both...
Looked like you were at Point Lobo in Carmel.
Love that area, Did PCH south from Carmel in ‘16
😂😂😂 very funny
Thanks guys
Love your vids.
John Wayne to San Diego 20 minute flight, 2 hour drive.
San Diego one of the coolest approaches.
Very impressive. you guys work so well together. I'm up all hours of the night and you guys keep me company. Iv said this before but the editing is great. Your way of picking when to do split screen or picking different views to do is great. I hope you keep this channel for a long time. I enjoy all of it. You guys would make great instructors. Thanks for all you do. Be safe.
I guess we'll never know "great..." what?
Agreed, Keemosabe!

Sorry to be off topic but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account??
I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tips you can give me.
@Santiago Cassius instablaster ;)
Very nice editing! (Oh, the flying was cool, too! haha!).
Shaun...…...We can see that you were still a little gun-shy in latching the sun shade later on in the video. Simple mishaps in flight (big or little) does rattle the nerves. That's the sign of a good pilot. Always stoked and prepared.
You guys are having too much fun.
NEVER!!
FINALLY ! I saw it and heard it myself ! Unless Shawn did overdub sound and altered this video, then I KNOW saw John laugh and smile ! I KNEW he was a cool guy, with a good sense of humor. He just doesn’t want anyone to know. But Shawn caught him this time. Priceless video. I’ll share this and archive a copy as proof to future generations ! LOL! I love this, because like John, I’m called “Oscar The Grouch”, since I don’t appear to smile too often. So John is my mentor. Seriously guys, thanks for another great ride. Safe skies.
That's awesome! Thank you!
Shaun, I jumped, as well. Then I did a rewind not once, not twice, but four times laughing my behind OFF about what happened!!! It was hilarious! But at first, it scared me too.
So glad cameras were rolling to capture that!!!
Love you guys! Keep the videos coming!!!
Glad everyone is enjoying my near heart attack...but in all honesty, I watched it many times myself laughing every time.
I genuinely thought the window had gone for a split second, quite the scare, but always good to be reminded of the risks of flying every once in a while.
That’s comedy gold right there!!
Yes there are fish...I fished for steelhead all along that beautiful water!
That was funny. I would have loved to see Sean’s reaction in slo-mo. 😆
Bahahaha I love seeing Jon wear the same pair of basketball shorts everytime
Should have added a slow mo version of that window shade issue.. That was great! The flapping antlers just made it even better.
Every once in a while in a 172 the window will pop open in during cruise... same reaction for me.
That took a few years off your life for sure. I could not stop laughing. Bad news is we didn't know you all were in town. OC is my stomping ground for sure. Would love to have a chance to show you our great micro brew stops with great food. Need to figure out a way to know sooner when your in town if you guys are down for it so we can treat you all for some food and drinks. Not to mention the sweet night life. Monterey has some of the best rock fishing love it up that way. Thanks for the great laugh and video .
Next time you make it down the Big Sur way; go a bit farther S to Lucia and have lunch there-in the summer, the deck is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. And in December, the sun shines through the Window on Pfeiffer Beach-pretty spectacular.
Always good to hear John laugh lol. Even though it was at Shaun's expense.
When I saw the title of the vid, my first thought was Jon saying, "Alright, man. I'm gonna fly for a while." 😂😳
I work at a private FBO in SJC, you see it while taxing out. Too bad I missed you. Monterey / Carmel area is great, hope you guys enjoyed it.
That was the CSTN19 TEC route from SNA to SAN ? I fly those TEC routes quite often when simming online along the SoCal coast. Love it 😀
Hours and hours of pure boredom interrupted my moments of stark terror! Welcome to spacious KSNA!
Really enjoy your work guys would love to be in that flight deck , keep up the coverage . Pete lawley .from Shrewsbury England .
Welcome to SJC!! 🤓👍🏾
Ha! Ha! Great video!! Tnx for sharing.
Gonna need to stock some Depends for them in-flight emergencies !
HAHAHAHAHAHA
That's a cliffhanger !
1:35 to 1:58 Wow! That could perfectly be the coast somewhere in central Chile in spring! Amazing.
3:42 And that again! (except for the squirrels that don't exist in the southern hemisphere).
I know exactly what you mean by that wildlife scent . There are many rocks along the Chilean coastline with colonies of sea lions.
LOL! That’s just funny right there!
"That scared the %! out of me!" Just made my day! Shaun, I apologize for finding such glee at your terror, but your reaction was tremendously funny. A real highpoint in your channel. Thanks for sharing such a real moment in your lives.
Thanks! No need to apologize. It took me forever to edit that part of the video because I kept laughing so much myself. Glad everyone else seemed to like it as well.
Next time you fly into my hometown (Bozeman, MT - VLOG 38) and you have some down time, look me up. Take you guys fishing or shooting, or both.
Quick question: when you put your hands on your forehead, did you have the adrenaline headache that always follows a near death experience.
yep!
Love the wide angle outside view into John Wayne and the littler 'dash cam' view. Gives a way better and balanced perspective of proceedings. Stick with that guys.
RCC Mike ;n
When i used land at SNA rwy 20R was 19R and it was only 5700 feet. It's not much margin for the 737'a coming in fully loaded in the summer time. Also, the noise abatement rules are in a word: CRAZY. SNA is in a very expensive neighborhood. Great video as always and brought back some great memories.
Numbers have changed, the length hasn't. Still sporty!
I remember when it was wall-to-wall GA parking there. You could see a lot of Bonanzas, Mooneys and Barons from the freeway going by there.
Did a low approach there as part of my instrument check ride. They'd probably pooh-pooh that now.
Sunshade set and locked , roger affirmed
Really delightful... not facetiously so..
I live 15 minutes from John Wayne Airport. Great landing....
18:43 window mishap!
