the yoyo is better than the bass equalizer in your opinion? i still have to decide betweeen tons of eq. to boos clean sounds on the LXR, on amazon there is this lilttle Donner Pedal whic is pretty nice and cheap, what do you think?
"Yoyo" :D So I think you're asking about the Boss GEB-7 bass EQ vs the Joyo Monomyth. Assuming you can get past the Joyo's original color scheme it's a pretty good pedal. The drive/pre-amp part doesn't seem to have the bite of the B3K and the EQ part doesn't have the precision of the GEB, but as a single unit it is versatile. If you've got the cash and want both drive and EQ I think I'd go for the GEB-7 and a B3K (or for cheap the Joyo "Double Thruster" B3K clone). But then you'd have two pedals and not one and space and power are often important factors.
@@RichardDeHoveAhh! Thanks... I know this wasn't my question, but this is exactly what I was coming to the chat to ask you about the two JOYO pedals! You're right... the original color of the Monomyth hurts my eyes! Still, it sounds good!
@@aopaul If they just did the Monomyth in straight black or bare metal it'd be so much better. Then there's the problem that it's a straight rip-off of the Darkglass. OTOH the Darkglass is so expensive. So now there's philosophic and ethical factors as well lol.
