I loved this podcast. There are no knitters or knitting supply stores in my town so this podcast gave me an opportunity to feel "connected" with other knitters while learning about the different yarns, patterns, and kits. Thank you for taking the time to produce this and share this with us!

I was knitting my first vanilla sweater while I watched today's episode. A wonderful way to spend a few hours!
Today I discovered I could link my iPhone to my TV. I was able to watch your lovely shop update on a larger screen with my hands free to knit! I am not a tech person, so this has made me stupid happy. I now have more time to work on my Christmas “kit” my kids got me this year for Ysolda’s Bleideag using yarns ordered from The Woolly Thistle. Happy!

Your sweater is perfect!!! I’m happy you are recovered... and back to podcasting! I would love to knit up something simple and so wearable as that in the Rauma.... soon! It is possible that that Peaty Brown Birlinn Yarn is my favorite TWT yarn, but I’ve only swatched with it as yet. You held that in front of the camera for a good long while and I may have drooled. But right now I am loving knitting up a sweater with both Samite and Black Elephant (BFL).

I am knitting a top down shawl collar cardigan using Ann Budd’s book. It is for my husband and the wool we chose was Harrisville Designs Watershed yarn in Nelson which is a lovely dark purple (Yes, he wanted purple!). We ordered it from you and I couldn’t be more delighted with it. I’m so glad to be part of the Woolly Thistle family.

Wonderful episode. I have never yet managed to make a sweater for myself. I have a stash to work with but only two yarns in sweater quantity. I'm determined not to buy more until I have used up what I have. Then you reminded me about Anne Budds book, which I have. I love the books you offer. I wish wish wish the publishers would do them in spiral bindings (like Ann Budd's books) so they lie flat to work from. If a book is thin enough I have Staples cut off the spine and put spiral on. Sometimes you lose a little in the interior margins but at least it lies open.
