  • Consistency is such an important part of the game - we all know it! But how can we improve it?
Consistency is not just getting the ball over the net and in the court - it means different things at every level!
Being able to repeatedly hit with accuracy is important for all the shots and that level of repeatability IS CONSISTENCY!
To play better matches you need to understand the tactical principles in padel, so in this course we breakdown all the tactics: thepadelschool.com/courses/ta...

That last tip about the warm up is really great. I have recently started and realized to see the warm up as a free mini training session in that I try to be focused like if it was a match but especially using it for consistency yet not making any hard shots for the other player but focusing on getting deep balls and stuff like that in essence easy or basic stuff that goes a long way.
And seeing and playing against other people most if not all don't take warm up as serious in that regard that it don't seem to matter where the ball ends up making shots that can basically anywhere because they aren't focused when warm up and because "it's just a warm up".

If players don’t get the chance to train outside their matches then the warm up is the best chance to put some things into practice!

"Consistency is KING"? That hurt me more than it should have.
