Friendos! Told you guys last night on stream that I was gonna get this video out today. It's just uh... 2hrs late. LOL Regardless, let's start a discussion about Fu Xuan's signature Light Cone! As a F2P player, how do you feel about the options that exist to you? Is there an LC I'm missing? Let me know!
I believe Landau's Choice will be best in slot, as good if not better than her signature. Even ignoring the personal 16%~24% damage reduction, the increased aggro effect (33% to 60% target rate) is effectively worth 40% ally Damage Reduction and 6%~18% Energy Regen Rate (depending on enemy type and count). Her signature should be better offensively due to higher HP and the small damage boost, but as solo sustain for a team, Landau's Choice is as good if not better.
@@hadmos855 No, Laundau's Choice increases target rate from 150/450 (33%) with no light cone to 450/750 (60%). Thus ally target rate fell from 67% to 40%, which is a 40% ally target rate reduction. And the increased target rate for Fu Xuan giving about 5 energy per hit is roughly equivalent to 6%~18% Energy Regen Rate depending on the number of hits taken.
The Herta preservation LC is gonna be my go to option if I get Fu Xuan. As absolutely insane as it is, I probably can't get Fu Xuan and the lc as I'm super low on jades. For the F2Ps who like being in the meta or REALLY like Fu Xuan, then I'd recommend chasing the LC after getting Fu Xuan. (Fu's LC is the only LC I've ever considered summoning for in HSR cause of how cracked it is)
Regarding treasure of memories, effect res is ESSENTIAL to Fu xians kit. If she is CCd when she hits 50%, she will NOT trigger her self heal. She needs effect res, bro.
@@theunklol some effect res is not gonna cut it anyway. My Luocha has 42 eff res alongside his trace and fucker still gets CC'd sometimes. So there's no point thinking about it
Short Answer No. I honestly think F2P have multiple options for Fu Xuan even though her Signature is easily her best lightcone. To me I see it as overkill you don't need it but if you do get it I don't see her ever coming close to being killed I'm confident in her ability to solo sustain because of her kit and her traces really help with that. EX: when she uses her ultimate she also heals the whole team but we don't know by how much but that still helps out a lot. With Her Signature she'll be like Zhongli and Qiqi. Imo.
imo only reason you should pull is if you are trying to get her hp as high as possible. If you compare her lc to blade’s, one would easily see that blade’s lightcone is more of a “must” pull. Her lightcone is def more aesthetic tho 😊
Her lightcone is a must. Swarm disaster enemies dont give a shit about the rest of your team taking around 15%, they will still die unless you run abundance. The lightcone being able to heal your team makes it invaluable
no f2p wont suffer without her lightcone, don't forget drawing agro more to her with landau's choice 4* or gepard signature lightcone (if you somehow get it) is one way to also solo sustain. Fuxuan party member take little damage, she takes a lot, she can heal herself fine ( getting hit a lot with ER rope = easy ult spam ).
Texture of Memorie's says if wearer is hit; if Fu Xuan's sharing of damage is like SU's Destruction blessing, considering how Clara does not permanently counter when any team mate gets hit, Texture of Memorie's shielding might only work if Fu Xuan is the target of the atk, not just when sharing team mate's damage.
Thanks for the video Iyo! I think Texture of Memories will be solid on her. I'm not sure if she will be able to solo sustain like that, but I don't have doubts that she'll be able to help a lot in MOC and SU. I think the biggest issue of her signature LC's healing effect is that it is only relevant to MOC, since other modes rarely have waves.
Yeah, the more I read you guys' comments, the closer I get to skipping her sig LC and going for Texture of using my 2nd Gepard LC on her. With Texture, that shield might actually be able to help out, but if her healing sucks, I'd think to give her the 2pc healer set too.
Best to wait a week after she comes out so people have time to test her and see how much her signature LC affects her kit. Think both Landau and Texture could be fine. @@Iyoverse
@@Iyoverse I'm going with 2p speed and 2p hp personally. But it'd be interesting to see what a heal build on her might look like. Also I am pretty sure healing bonus will affect her self heal as well (so it might even mean you'd need to level her talent less).
@@Jay2024L It’s even great for MOC where 5 cycles is what a battle would take you. The only caveat is the lower stats compared to Texture I think. Maybe it doesn’t even matter much.
@@Iyoverse her healing is not an issue.. fuxuan is best at a mono quantum.. meaning lynx a healer is there.. so healing stuff shud not be an issue.. fuxuan is a buffer, cc shield provider, dmg mitigation and sub dps somewhat.. if she deals DMG based on her HP like Blade? then she will be broken.. if not then ok a simple sub sub dps.. but u dont need to worry about healing in terms of fuxuan.. the game is made up of 4 characters lols.. u are not Soloing haha.. unless you want to.. like Blade can..
Great video per usual, but wanted to clarify that the phrasing of "At the beginning of each wave" is not in regards to cycles, but rather for instance in MoC, you start off at 1/3, if you took damage, you'd heal once you've entered wave 2/3
From the dreams, and IMO: Texture of Memories = BiS LC for personal mitigation/damage mitigation for a battle, esp against bosses. Sig LC = Necessary to be on Loucha's level of sustain Like JY before her, she got part of her kit put in her LC.
i dont believe part of her kit is in her LC she is preservation unit not abundance her LC just adds on to her kit not making or breaking her in any way
IMO, overhealing is pointless....especially if those characters gets one shotted from the start because they could not pass the Vigor/HP check in the first place. That's where Shields and Max HP% buffs shine more.
I dont really mind not getting her sig lc since i dont really like the heal it gives, procs at most 1 time in higher moc. If the dmg buff on the lc stacks, then it would've been broken especially paired with jingliu. Going for the herta one since the shield is based off of max hp. Her E1 is broken tho, juicy 30% crit dmg buff

13:00 I will, you don't need it. The energy regen issue gets fixed by the other LC that guarantees her getting hit more anyway and she gets hit for less so she doesn't need as much hp either.
This doesn't give her the same energy back though, even if she gets hit. I'm a little confused on why you would want to advocate/promote this option as the better options. Not to say it's horrible, but the 12% ER would apply to everything that gives her energy. Without it, just getting hit because you win the aggro pull wouldn't give you more energy than the Fu Xuan with the sig LC who is also getting hit. I believe the DMG reduction is what's most important from those other LC options.
Why does it feel like the people who make the most confident statements haven't currently or previously had access to any beta testing client or some sort of first hand experience using unreleased characters by whatever means... No, I mean it's a game. It won't ruin your enjoyment if you don't get a 5stars LC. In a sense, if a 5 star character needs their LC to be any good, then they aren't worth pulling. You won't beat any 5 star LC that is tailor made to a character with a 4 star but that doesn't mean it can't work. The Taunt LC increases the hit chance from around 30% to around 60% . You want her to get hit as her personal heal is a lot stronger than the small aoe heal she does. No one is saying the signature LC will be worse but that it might not be needed. @@Iyoverse
I’d disagree for one main reason: with her LC + ER rope she reaches 131% which enables her to 3T her ult and still reach 8k hp which in swarm is huge for sustaining on using any path that isn’t preservation or abundance (or even destruction) She’s going to take huge damage so being able to cycle her ult and make sure she has hp reverse stacks will always be more viable than without But remember to spend wisely or don’t at all
11:20 - 12:03 the shield last for 2 turns and the CD for reactivation is 3 turns, so basically 1 turn downtime in case shield is up: "... gain a Shield equal to 16-32% of their Max HP for 2 turn(s). This effect can only be triggered once every 3 turn(s)...".
In the livestream for this patch they talked on how HP is mainly her gimmick. She doesn’t use shields and highly need HP for taking some damage from teammates so the LC does only suit her for her kit
I'm going s3 Landau's Choice as it increases her aggro, giving her more energy from enemy attacks and better for other allies' survivability. My stats will be 6.9k hp (noice), 1.5k def, 151 spd, and 60+ effect res. Total dmg reduction is 46% (18% from her talent, 8% from 2 pc wuthering and 20% from s3 Landau's). I already calculated potential dmg taken, and I am literally immortal with this build. I cannot wait to auto-play MoC.
@pretty.billy. I personally do not think her Sig LC is worth it. It is amazing because of the utility it gives, but there are other alternatives that can get the job done pretty well. But I suggest waiting for people to test it out once she releases. Tho I did see some people do the math on her Sig LC. It is the 2nd weakest option in terms of her personal survivability. (The weakest being Texture of Memories without shield up). That is why it has a heal per wave to balance it out. But again, wait for real testing to make your decision much easier.
I don't think it is worth it, 24% more hp + 12% regen. amd the 9% dps buff is quite minuscule, not really worth mentioning. With landau you get hit for less and hit more times which will just build your ult faster anyway. The damage taken reduction might be better than the bit more of HP. @@pretty.billy.
I’m going for her sig, but even if I wasn’t I’d do ToM. Personally, from what I’ve seen, I don’t think she’ll need additional aggro to sustain the team as much as a lot of people are thinking
Honestly seems cracked to me Once I get her and lynx I can finally start to do the harder 2 team content as right now my only options are gepard and Natasha and Natasha does feel like she is keeping up tbh but I haven't really like crazy invested to her to much
I believe shields dont work on her, i dont remember if it was a leak or gameplay video, but whenever a teammates takes damage, whether or not fu xuan has a shield or not she still loses hp, however if she is hit the shield loses hp.

Do remember that Fu xuan's skill "distributes/mitigates damage" so that means it's basically the same as a enemy hitting Fu Xuan, unless somewhere in her skill it's stated that when she distributes damage it's more of a HP drain like blade's HP drain. Edit: from what we can see in this video, shield is prioritized when Fu Xuan is mitigating the damage.

I think let's clarify some information here about fu xuan' LC Her LC is indeed bis however not required to have "But, it gives hp right?" Yes that's true, her LC will easen up your building on her mostly on hp side. So the usual 7k will be 8k. But personally, a 7k hp fu xuan is enough for sustaining. Her LC ER isn't enough to replace her ER rope either so overall, you can ignore her LC if you aim for E1 which in my opinion. Have higher value. *so what's the best f2p option* Both landau and Texture of memories are her f2p options. Personally I'm on ToM team due to giving her more comfortable sustainability However, laundau gives her sustainability and able to get the aggro of the mobs which lessens the issue of your team mate's hp getting chip away despite having matrix being active and thr small heal from her ult So tl:dr you can skip her LC if you want. Its not required unlike what other youtuberd said
I was gonna pull for Fuxuan in the past but becuase of what i heard about her kit and the drawbacks I though of not pulling anymore and just go for the healer but then you explained that I can still make it viable with the SW Light Cone I changed my mind I might pull. once again thank you.
Her scaling with HP does not mean you only want HP. You want a good chunk of defense unless you play her as sub dps, or against very light hitting things. The herta light cone works great on her and she can definitely sustain your team for 10 Cycles. If you need more, you got other issues. Just try to focus on defense instead of HP on your supports etc for tankiness
The dmg she absorbs needs to go through all her mitigations and def befote it gets yo reduce her hp. So DEF LC are pretty good for her.. Landau, Day 1, Texture, MoV are viable options for her
Landau's and Moment of Victory are probably significantly better than Texture of Memories, it's unlikely she will even remotely need the shield it provides due to the amount of HP you're building in the first place, yeah cool it makes ToM's shield bigger, but again, you just don't need it. Landau's gives you damage reduction which is basically DMG% but for a tank, Moment of Victory increases DEF% which is also incredibly valuable for tanks, since they're constantly taking damage this is a great stat even when they don't scale on it. The more HP you have the more you'll want DEF. That's not to mention the Aggro modifier she gains from these two LC's, which completely changes the dynamic of a fight, if your allies get hit less, they will require less healing, and Fu Xuan can heal herself very well, but isn't as good at healing her allies. The only redeeming factors on ToM is it's comparatively higher basestats than Landau's and the 24% DMG Reduction. however, the Damage Reduction is only active while you have a shield, and with the amount you're getting hit, this shield probably breaks pretty quickly, MEANING that since it has a 3 turn cooldown, if it almost instantly breaks you immediately lose that 24% DMG Reduction and your normal health is gaining 0 benefits from ToM. Landau's on the other hand, gives you more Effective HP on your actual HP Pool because that 16-24% DMG Reduction is ALWAYS active, so you can probably tank just as much. Moment of Victory goes even further than ToM, basically having the same amount of Damage Mitigation as Landau's but in the form of DEF% but with both a higher base HP and base DEF, which adds up a lot. Hell when it comes to her team sustaining abilities, Landau's and MoV may even be better than her signature, if it just so happens this extra HP and ERR from her Signature LC are luxury and she functions at 99% without it, the Aggro Modifier just sounds incredibly strong for her. "Every Wave" is pretty rare, MoC usually has 2-3 "Waves" meaning you'll only proc this once or twice, so the main thing her Signature LC would be providing that has real value is the 9% DMG.
Yo, this is actually great. I was so fixed on giving her the herta one but you just made me consider the aggro lightcones. But as u said, landau's a 4* so its base stats is relatively low especially to someone who scales highly on HP and MoV just has those additional stats that are objectively not beneficial for fu xuan
@@razergarcia6323I actually mentioned that even though MoV doesn't grant you any stats she traditionally scales on, that DEF% is still a great stat on her, tanks take damage, DEF reduces amount of damage taken. it's quite simple really. is DEF as good as HP? no. Texture of memories is the 3rd imo. Landau is far better. Fu xuan likely would be immortal already by just her passive and high hp scaling alone, texture is just an overkill, her problem is sustaining her team not herself. and landau choice helps this by removing aggro on team + it also serves as "regeneration rate" stat. But yeah Texture is easier to get for f2p than Landau choice.

Doesn't work like that good sir. Whatever you multiplicate, you - that and do it again. Which is a lower number at the end.. Idk what it is to lazy to calculate but it's maybe like 38% or something. Which is still huge but yea.
I feel like you're overestimating the HP% she needs, Moment of Victory actually works very well because it's Landau's choice but with a DEF buff. This is GOOD because just like the Genshin stat formula, these games want multiple different stats instead of overcapping on a single stat. Fu Xuan is already more than capable of self sustain which is why Taunt is a very viable build and things like DEF will stack with her own damage reduction because the way it works is Incoming DMG > reduced by DEF > reduces by DMG reduction effects.
No I don’t believe that F2P players will suffer without the LC. The only real times that Fu Xuan is going to suffer is if you really neglected your other units, so both units are taking more damage than they should, and swarm disaster 5 without any supportive blessings. It should be very reasonably comfy besides that. There are very good multiple choice LC as far as preservation goes. ToM/Landau’s Choice/DOMNL/WAW/Revitalization. Last one would be better if it was 4* light cone, but it is something you can do if you need her healing herself if she needs to slow down eating stacks. And about CC, she is the first 5* preservation character that actually does something about CC, and for the whole team per skill usage. Shout outs for March 7th for actual cleanse though. And sometimes, CC Prevention is better than debuff cleanse, at least the way it is currently. Other units that cleanse can only clean one debuff, not all or multiple. So if you were frozen first and then hit with wind shear, you would only cleanse the wind shear. With this form of protection, you would null the freeze, even if it was reverse order, but still stuck with wind shear, because wind shear isn’t a CC, its a debuff/dot.
Her lc is not worth it imo. Unlike jing yuan where his lc is bis for literally every erudition units including himeko. Fu xuan lc is not bis for other preservation units because they scale off def. Unless we see more hp scaling preservation units i dont see the point of using her lc over other def% lc for def scaling units.
I'm probably gonna pull her 4-5 days before her banner ends to see the difference between w sig lc and no sig lc. If the difference is really big then it's a skip for me.

only if you need the damage up lc is really solid for team sustain with a small damage buff on top as a small extra but 30% crit damage will always be good for dps other than things like current DoT characters completely depends on which one you want
Think I might be better than her actual LC as it will make her take a lot more hits. Her self heal is good but her aoe heal is really bad, so you want her to get hit more than the team even if she mitigated damage. Plus the more she gets hit, the quicker her ult goes up and the 20% reduced damage might be better than the HP% up in the long run lol
@@Kuroganemk2 Yeah, especially in dot situations. If multiple allies are affected with dots, she'll be taking a lot of damage real quick so the damage reductions comes in very handy and by increasing her aggro we decrease the chances of said dots being applied to allies
that second sentence makes no sense yeah, can get stats from relics but extra stats are always nice? the ER helps with energy in a similar way while having less reason to run an ER rope(unless you wanted to go full defensive stats anyways) you will have more hp, the er from the lc ontop of running speed boots can help with ult uptime, this leads to more healing, this is all assuming that you would have enough energy gain but i personally think landau doesnt give THAT much more energy, especially if you dont run destruction dps characters, since fuxuan naturally has 150 agro anyways (never mind the fact that even with increased agro, its still perfectly likely that fuxuan still just doesnt get hit, i would rather rely on consistancy rather than something that could just be screwed over because of weird rng) if you're in a dot spam situation in which the dot is dealing too much damage, you'd probably be better off running another sustain along sides her anyways
People did the math on that, 150 doesn't amount to getting hit that much but with a LC tount it goes from like 30% to like 70%, that's a lot more hits your tank is taking. You want to get an LC and perhaps skip another unit because you lack the jades lol? What if you lose the 25/75? Are you going to spend 100$ on a marginally better light cone lol? @@theunklol
If Guaranteed Legendary for Light Cones would be every 40th, I would go for Light Cones, but since it is the same as for Characters so every 90th is a Guaranteed Legendary, I skip all Light Cones and use my resources for Legendary Characters only!
look I'm gonna put it this way, her light cone makes her have the same level as loucha as a solo sustainer, in high level mlc you will need it for sure or you will need to bring a healer.
so wonder them, know when yelan was first released in genshin she was called a p2p not f2p friendly char but then few months later was sied to be one the most f2p friendly.
@@Iyoverse when she uses her ultimate she will heal her allies, she won't need that much of heal when she's getting aggro and mitigating dmg of party. When she uses her skill she provides crit rate and increases max hp of her team.
Effecr res in texture of memories shouldn't be overlooked. It makes her really easy to build for a broken keel planar set. Her LC seems good but not really that far ahead for me. Her healing between waves was relevant when we had 3 waves. But now we have only 2 and the first one is the easiest so the healing is not really that important. Energy regen is good but if you give her landau she can also get attacked more and get more energy....
You spittin' right now. The current relic build I have saved for her has like 40% ER right now, but I want more HP & Crit or Break subs on it, so I keep farming.
looking at her numbers, seems like overkill imo. I’ve been playing Genshin and star rail since the beginning and i’ve never seen a limited character that relies on a 5 star gear to beat the hardest content of the game. It’s all luxury, especially the weapons/lightcones, more often than not 4 star options exist and are very sufficient as long as you actually invest on the character(I swear a lot of people just lightly invest on their supports then claims they keep on dying/can’t sustain the teams). Landau’s choice will probably eliminate her energy problem, if she have one to begin with. texture is decent for an HP scaling self shield and has a 5 star LC stats. Day one of my new life further decrease damage taken by all allies. Well, just because none of them have HP scaling passives doesn’t mean they aren’t usable. March 7 already can solo sustain on floor 10 as long as the enemies are freezable, i doubt they make a 5 star that struggles even harder than a free character with 4 star LC. edit: also, the heals on her LC is remarkably useless imo lol. Latest MoC only has 2 waves, so it only proc 1 time, and the first wave shouldn’t be too hard anyway.
You know. I wouldn’t mind paying a little more money if the pulls and 50/50s weren’t so expensive. But they don’t care because the whales will take care of it.

I just had a headache getting DHIL's lightcone 'cause I didn't have the Herta store LC, so pulling for Fu Xuan's LC is a no go. Might skip her entirely
Fu Xuan's signature light cone is a must pull for P2P players cuz so far I CAN'T find another preservation LC more powerful than this one. Fu Xuan's LC is simply the best in the preservation range, equivalent of two 4 star light cones combined.

Don't take what I say as fact, but most likely, it'll not be a permanent account buff. FX is considered a niche character because of her being preservation but wanting hp instead of defense. So, more than likely, similar to Luocha, you can just use a 4* lc or the herta store one and you'll be good. I think if you have a spare geppy lc running around you could also use that
And she'll always be better for a mono quantum team if you have SW since it'll be 4 quantum characters 100% chance to apply quantum weakness compared to having luocha on the same team with only a 75% chance

lets say your characer has 2000 hp and you lost 1000 hp, you get 80% hp back from the 1000 you lost so you get 800 health back putting you at 1800 hp and then you will heal back to full with fu xuans ultimate probably
There is a catch this signature is not universal only for characters which has auto healing. Example march shield. Fu xian and even MC fire which has 5%healing from basic atk. But if you give that to the gepard it will be pointless. So overall signature looks very f2p friendly. However as we know not everyone gonna obtain her. And who knows maybe you gonna change a tank later. So signature wont be matched. Another think it is preservation card which means not so much requirement because what is today make a defensive character. Harder is making offensive and he need more SN then defense or support. Which means it decrease her valueable.
@@Hello-nr7vy There is no level. Ascension 4 : Dunjia, the Metamystic "When Fu Xuan's Ultimate is used, heals all other allies by an amount equal to 5% of Fu Xuan's Max HP plus 133." She's a preservation afterall
Out of all herta lightcones texture of memories is just the best and the nihility one is the worst by far. I don't know why you bought the nihility one but you really should have gone for texture of memories instead
F2p plebs are on so much copium rn, pretty sure you all wasted all of your crystals for Dan IL which is a highly expendable character 🤭 I've seen leakers where they use the ToM, ye sure it works, but unless you know what you're doing, it won't be comfortable with just ToM. Her sig have the highest base HP pretty significantly, which will adds up the more you have HP%, plus it gives ERR which probably would *comfortably* allow her to use HP rope, more HP, more potent healing and more frequent ult, on top of it alone heals every wave. And buff dmg, and another 24% free hp%. Basically it's an actual ez mode with Fu Xuan and her signature. Very worth it. Screw all the current and future limited expendable dps characters.
Path of Preservation has alot of good lightcones for her. Her signature LC is great but like everyone else said Moment of victory, landau's choice, texture of memories, etc are viable. Fu Xuan by herself is already looking food at e0 anyway. You have alot to work with so don't worry. But just make sure you have HP% in your relic substats because thats what she scales with.
I love meta in almost any game that has stats. Being raised with Pkmn and then being exposed to the competitive side of that in both formats, it's almost bred into me at this point to care about meta.

Friendos! Told you guys last night on stream that I was gonna get this video out today. It's just uh... 2hrs late. LOL Regardless, let's start a discussion about Fu Xuan's signature Light Cone! As a F2P player, how do you feel about the options that exist to you? Is there an LC I'm missing? Let me know!
I believe Landau's Choice will be best in slot, as good if not better than her signature. Even ignoring the personal 16%~24% damage reduction, the increased aggro effect (33% to 60% target rate) is effectively worth 40% ally Damage Reduction and 6%~18% Energy Regen Rate (depending on enemy type and count). Her signature should be better offensively due to higher HP and the small damage boost, but as solo sustain for a team, Landau's Choice is as good if not better.

Thus ally target rate fell from 67% to 40%, which is a 40% ally target rate reduction. And the increased target rate for Fu Xuan giving about 5 energy per hit is roughly equivalent to 6%~18% Energy Regen Rate depending on the number of hits taken.
The Herta preservation LC is gonna be my go to option if I get Fu Xuan. As absolutely insane as it is, I probably can't get Fu Xuan and the lc as I'm super low on jades.
For the F2Ps who like being in the meta or REALLY like Fu Xuan, then I'd recommend chasing the LC after getting Fu Xuan. (Fu's LC is the only LC I've ever considered summoning for in HSR cause of how cracked it is)
Regarding treasure of memories, effect res is ESSENTIAL to Fu xians kit. If she is CCd when she hits 50%, she will NOT trigger her self heal. She needs effect res, bro.

Short Answer No. I honestly think F2P have multiple options for Fu Xuan even though her Signature is easily her best lightcone. To me I see it as overkill you don't need it but if you do get it I don't see her ever coming close to being killed I'm confident in her ability to solo sustain because of her kit and her traces really help with that. EX: when she uses her ultimate she also heals the whole team but we don't know by how much but that still helps out a lot. With Her Signature she'll be like Zhongli and Qiqi. Imo.
imo only reason you should pull is if you are trying to get her hp as high as possible. If you compare her lc to blade’s, one would easily see that blade’s lightcone is more of a “must” pull. Her lightcone is def more aesthetic tho 😊
Her lightcone is a must. Swarm disaster enemies dont give a shit about the rest of your team taking around 15%, they will still die unless you run abundance. The lightcone being able to heal your team makes it invaluable
no f2p wont suffer without her lightcone, don't forget drawing agro more to her with landau's choice 4* or gepard signature lightcone (if you somehow get it) is one way to also solo sustain. Fuxuan party member take little damage, she takes a lot, she can heal herself fine ( getting hit a lot with ER rope = easy ult spam ).
or just put a healer in because there's not only a single way to play the game as long as you can beat the content.

Texture of Memorie's says if wearer is hit; if Fu Xuan's sharing of damage is like SU's Destruction blessing, considering how Clara does not permanently counter when any team mate gets hit, Texture of Memorie's shielding might only work if Fu Xuan is the target of the atk, not just when sharing team mate's damage.

The way FX's lightcone is worded for the 80% value, almost seems like a weird translation for just "80% missing hp"

I think Texture of Memories will be solid on her. I'm not sure if she will be able to solo sustain like that, but I don't have doubts that she'll be able to help a lot in MOC and SU.
I think the biggest issue of her signature LC's healing effect is that it is only relevant to MOC, since other modes rarely have waves.
Yeah, the more I read you guys' comments, the closer I get to skipping her sig LC and going for Texture of using my 2nd Gepard LC on her. With Texture, that shield might actually be able to help out, but if her healing sucks, I'd think to give her the 2pc healer set too.
Best to wait a week after she comes out so people have time to test her and see how much her signature LC affects her kit. Think both Landau and Texture could be fine. @@Iyoverse

It’s even great for MOC where 5 cycles is what a battle would take you. The only caveat is the lower stats compared to Texture I think. Maybe it doesn’t even matter much.
@@Iyoverse her healing is not an issue.. fuxuan is best at a mono quantum.. meaning lynx a healer is there.. so healing stuff shud not be an issue.. fuxuan is a buffer, cc shield provider, dmg mitigation and sub dps somewhat.. if she deals DMG based on her HP like Blade? then she will be broken.. if not then ok a simple sub sub dps.. but u dont need to worry about healing in terms of fuxuan.. the game is made up of 4 characters lols.. u are not Soloing haha.. unless you want to.. like Blade can..

Great video per usual, but wanted to clarify that the phrasing of "At the beginning of each wave" is not in regards to cycles, but rather for instance in MoC, you start off at 1/3, if you took damage, you'd heal once you've entered wave 2/3

Sig LC = Necessary to be on Loucha's level of sustain

I've seen dreams of her sustaining just as well as Luocha without her signature lightcone
i dont believe part of her kit is in her LC she is preservation unit not abundance her LC just adds on to her kit not making or breaking her in any way
IMO, overhealing is pointless....especially if those characters gets one shotted from the start because they could not pass the Vigor/HP check in the first place.
That's where Shields and Max HP% buffs shine more.
I dont really mind not getting her sig lc since i dont really like the heal it gives, procs at most 1 time in higher moc. If the dmg buff on the lc stacks, then it would've been broken especially paired with jingliu.

13:00 I will, you don't need it. The energy regen issue gets fixed by the other LC that guarantees her getting hit more anyway and she gets hit for less so she doesn't need as much hp either.
This doesn't give her the same energy back though, even if she gets hit. I'm a little confused on why you would want to advocate/promote this option as the better options. Not to say it's horrible, but the 12% ER would apply to everything that gives her energy. Without it, just getting hit because you win the aggro pull wouldn't give you more energy than the Fu Xuan with the sig LC who is also getting hit. I believe the DMG reduction is what's most important from those other LC options.

No, I mean it's a game. It won't ruin your enjoyment if you don't get a 5stars LC. In a sense, if a 5 star character needs their LC to be any good, then they aren't worth pulling. You won't beat any 5 star LC that is tailor made to a character with a 4 star but that doesn't mean it can't work.
The Taunt LC increases the hit chance from around 30% to around 60% . You want her to get hit as her personal heal is a lot stronger than the small aoe heal she does. No one is saying the signature LC will be worse but that it might not be needed. @@Iyoverse
I’d disagree for one main reason: with her LC + ER rope she reaches 131% which enables her to 3T her ult and still reach 8k hp which in swarm is huge for sustaining on using any path that isn’t preservation or abundance (or even destruction)
She’s going to take huge damage so being able to cycle her ult and make sure she has hp reverse stacks will always be more viable than without

11:20 - 12:03 the shield last for 2 turns and the CD for reactivation is 3 turns, so basically 1 turn downtime in case shield is up:
"... gain a Shield equal to 16-32% of their Max HP for 2 turn(s). This effect can only be triggered once every 3 turn(s)...".
In the livestream for this patch they talked on how HP is mainly her gimmick. She doesn’t use shields and highly need HP for taking some damage from teammates so the LC does only suit her for her kit
I'm going s3 Landau's Choice as it increases her aggro, giving her more energy from enemy attacks and better for other allies' survivability.
My stats will be 6.9k hp (noice), 1.5k def, 151 spd, and 60+ effect res.
Total dmg reduction is 46% (18% from her talent, 8% from 2 pc wuthering and 20% from s3 Landau's).
I already calculated potential dmg taken, and I am literally immortal with this build. I cannot wait to auto-play MoC.
I have S1 Landaus, should I go for her Sig? I am VERY far from getting Herta Store LC…
@pretty.billy. I personally do not think her Sig LC is worth it. It is amazing because of the utility it gives, but there are other alternatives that can get the job done pretty well.
But I suggest waiting for people to test it out once she releases.
Tho I did see some people do the math on her Sig LC. It is the 2nd weakest option in terms of her personal survivability. (The weakest being Texture of Memories without shield up). That is why it has a heal per wave to balance it out.
But again, wait for real testing to make your decision much easier.
I don't think it is worth it, 24% more hp + 12% regen. amd the 9% dps buff is quite minuscule, not really worth mentioning. With landau you get hit for less and hit more times which will just build your ult faster anyway. The damage taken reduction might be better than the bit more of HP. @@pretty.billy.

I believe shields dont work on her, i dont remember if it was a leak or gameplay video, but whenever a teammates takes damage, whether or not fu xuan has a shield or not she still loses hp, however if she is hit the shield loses hp.

Watch this video, in the early parts of the video you can see Fu Xuan triggering texture's shield and whenever a ally gets hit, the shield is depleted first before Fu xuan's HP when a ally gets hit.
Do remember that Fu xuan's skill "distributes/mitigates damage" so that means it's basically the same as a enemy hitting Fu Xuan, unless somewhere in her skill it's stated that when she distributes damage it's more of a HP drain like blade's HP drain.
Edit: from what we can see in this video, shield is prioritized when Fu Xuan is mitigating the damage.

Yes that's true, her LC will easen up your building on her mostly on hp side. So the usual 7k will be 8k. But personally, a 7k hp fu xuan is enough for sustaining. Her LC ER isn't enough to replace her ER rope either so overall, you can ignore her LC if you aim for E1 which in my opinion. Have higher value.

Both landau and Texture of memories are her f2p options. Personally I'm on ToM team due to giving her more comfortable sustainability
However, laundau gives her sustainability and able to get the aggro of the mobs which lessens the issue of your team mate's hp getting chip away despite having matrix being active and thr small heal from her ult
So tl:dr you can skip her LC if you want. Its not required unlike what other youtuberd said

Her scaling with HP does not mean you only want HP. You want a good chunk of defense unless you play her as sub dps, or against very light hitting things. The herta light cone works great on her and she can definitely sustain your team for 10 Cycles. If you need more, you got other issues. Just try to focus on defense instead of HP on your supports etc for tankiness
The dmg she absorbs needs to go through all her mitigations and def befote it gets yo reduce her hp. So DEF LC are pretty good for her.. Landau, Day 1, Texture, MoV are viable options for her
Just FYI it's just a 9% damage buff. It lasts for 2 turns, but it doesn't stack. It's still cracked though.

Landau's and Moment of Victory are probably significantly better than Texture of Memories, it's unlikely she will even remotely need the shield it provides due to the amount of HP you're building in the first place, yeah cool it makes ToM's shield bigger, but again, you just don't need it. Landau's gives you damage reduction which is basically DMG% but for a tank, Moment of Victory increases DEF% which is also incredibly valuable for tanks, since they're constantly taking damage this is a great stat even when they don't scale on it. The more HP you have the more you'll want DEF. That's not to mention the Aggro modifier she gains from these two LC's, which completely changes the dynamic of a fight, if your allies get hit less, they will require less healing, and Fu Xuan can heal herself very well, but isn't as good at healing her allies.
The only redeeming factors on ToM is it's comparatively higher basestats than Landau's and the 24% DMG Reduction. however, the Damage Reduction is only active while you have a shield, and with the amount you're getting hit, this shield probably breaks pretty quickly, MEANING that since it has a 3 turn cooldown, if it almost instantly breaks you immediately lose that 24% DMG Reduction and your normal health is gaining 0 benefits from ToM. Landau's on the other hand, gives you more Effective HP on your actual HP Pool because that 16-24% DMG Reduction is ALWAYS active, so you can probably tank just as much. Moment of Victory goes even further than ToM, basically having the same amount of Damage Mitigation as Landau's but in the form of DEF% but with both a higher base HP and base DEF, which adds up a lot.
Hell when it comes to her team sustaining abilities, Landau's and MoV may even be better than her signature, if it just so happens this extra HP and ERR from her Signature LC are luxury and she functions at 99% without it, the Aggro Modifier just sounds incredibly strong for her. "Every Wave" is pretty rare, MoC usually has 2-3 "Waves" meaning you'll only proc this once or twice, so the main thing her Signature LC would be providing that has real value is the 9% DMG.
Yeah, I think anyone who has landau at s2/s3 should be fine not having her LC.
Yo, this is actually great. I was so fixed on giving her the herta one but you just made me consider the aggro lightcones. But as u said, landau's a 4* so its base stats is relatively low especially to someone who scales highly on HP and MoV just has those additional stats that are objectively not beneficial for fu xuan

Texture of memories is the 3rd imo. Landau is far better. Fu xuan likely would be immortal already by just her passive and high hp scaling alone, texture is just an overkill, her problem is sustaining her team not herself. and landau choice helps this by removing aggro on team + it also serves as "regeneration rate" stat. But yeah Texture is easier to get for f2p than Landau choice.

Dmg absorb and heals for the team. Perfect single support. Even with Gepard thick shield, sometime a little healing will prevent being one shot.
I feel like you're overestimating the HP% she needs, Moment of Victory actually works very well because it's Landau's choice but with a DEF buff.
This is GOOD because just like the Genshin stat formula, these games want multiple different stats instead of overcapping on a single stat.
Fu Xuan is already more than capable of self sustain which is why Taunt is a very viable build and things like DEF will stack with her own damage reduction because the way it works is Incoming DMG > reduced by DEF > reduces by DMG reduction effects.

No I don’t believe that F2P players will suffer without the LC. The only real times that Fu Xuan is going to suffer is if you really neglected your other units, so both units are taking more damage than they should, and swarm disaster 5 without any supportive blessings. It should be very reasonably comfy besides that. There are very good multiple choice LC as far as preservation goes. ToM/Landau’s Choice/DOMNL/WAW/Revitalization.
Last one would be better if it was 4* light cone, but it is something you can do if you need her healing herself if she needs to slow down eating stacks. And about CC, she is the first 5* preservation character that actually does something about CC, and for the whole team per skill usage. Shout outs for March 7th for actual cleanse though.
And sometimes, CC Prevention is better than debuff cleanse, at least the way it is currently. Other units that cleanse can only clean one debuff, not all or multiple. So if you were frozen first and then hit with wind shear, you would only cleanse the wind shear. With this form of protection, you would null the freeze, even if it was reverse order, but still stuck with wind shear, because wind shear isn’t a CC, its a debuff/dot.
Her lc is not worth it imo. Unlike jing yuan where his lc is bis for literally every erudition units including himeko. Fu xuan lc is not bis for other preservation units because they scale off def. Unless we see more hp scaling preservation units i dont see the point of using her lc over other def% lc for def scaling units.

Think I might be better than her actual LC as it will make her take a lot more hits. Her self heal is good but her aoe heal is really bad, so you want her to get hit more than the team even if she mitigated damage. Plus the more she gets hit, the quicker her ult goes up and the 20% reduced damage might be better than the HP% up in the long run lol

If multiple allies are affected with dots, she'll be taking a lot of damage real quick so the damage reductions comes in very handy and by increasing her aggro we decrease the chances of said dots being applied to allies

the ER helps with energy in a similar way while having less reason to run an ER rope(unless you wanted to go full defensive stats anyways)
you will have more hp, the er from the lc ontop of running speed boots can help with ult uptime, this leads to more healing, this is all assuming that you would have enough energy gain but i personally think landau doesnt give THAT much more energy, especially if you dont run destruction dps characters, since fuxuan naturally has 150 agro anyways (never mind the fact that even with increased agro, its still perfectly likely that fuxuan still just doesnt get hit, i would rather rely on consistancy rather than something that could just be screwed over because of weird rng)
if you're in a dot spam situation in which the dot is dealing too much damage, you'd probably be better off running another sustain along sides her anyways
People did the math on that, 150 doesn't amount to getting hit that much but with a LC tount it goes from like 30% to like 70%, that's a lot more hits your tank is taking.
You want to get an LC and perhaps skip another unit because you lack the jades lol? What if you lose the 25/75? Are you going to spend 100$ on a marginally better light cone lol?

If Guaranteed Legendary for Light Cones would be every 40th, I would go for Light Cones, but since it is the same as for Characters so every 90th is a Guaranteed Legendary, I skip all Light Cones and use my resources for Legendary Characters only!

so wonder them, know when yelan was first released in genshin she was called a p2p not f2p friendly char but then few months later was sied to be one the most f2p friendly.

Thing is this can work with alot of preservation units the only downside is you get max hp instead of defense

@@Iyoverse when she uses her ultimate she will heal her allies, she won't need that much of heal when she's getting aggro and mitigating dmg of party. When she uses her skill she provides crit rate and increases max hp of her team.
Effecr res in texture of memories shouldn't be overlooked. It makes her really easy to build for a broken keel planar set.
Her LC seems good but not really that far ahead for me. Her healing between waves was relevant when we had 3 waves. But now we have only 2 and the first one is the easiest so the healing is not really that important.
Energy regen is good but if you give her landau she can also get attacked more and get more energy....
You spittin' right now. The current relic build I have saved for her has like 40% ER right now, but I want more HP & Crit or Break subs on it, so I keep farming.
looking at her numbers, seems like overkill imo. I’ve been playing Genshin and star rail since the beginning and i’ve never seen a limited character that relies on a 5 star gear to beat the hardest content of the game. It’s all luxury, especially the weapons/lightcones, more often than not 4 star options exist and are very sufficient as long as you actually invest on the character(I swear a lot of people just lightly invest on their supports then claims they keep on dying/can’t sustain the teams). Landau’s choice will probably eliminate her energy problem, if she have one to begin with. texture is decent for an HP scaling self shield and has a 5 star LC stats. Day one of my new life further decrease damage taken by all allies. Well, just because none of them have HP scaling passives doesn’t mean they aren’t usable. March 7 already can solo sustain on floor 10 as long as the enemies are freezable, i doubt they make a 5 star that struggles even harder than a free character with 4 star LC.
edit: also, the heals on her LC is remarkably useless imo lol. Latest MoC only has 2 waves, so it only proc 1 time, and the first wave shouldn’t be too hard anyway.
I'm going to pull in her banner but only for Lynx if I get lucky so be it otherwise Jingliu is a my Bae followed by Topaz.

Fu Xuan's signature light cone is a must pull for P2P players cuz so far I CAN'T find another preservation LC more powerful than this one. Fu Xuan's LC is simply the best in the preservation range, equivalent of two 4 star light cones combined.

Don't take what I say as fact, but most likely, it'll not be a permanent account buff. FX is considered a niche character because of her being preservation but wanting hp instead of defense. So, more than likely, similar to Luocha, you can just use a 4* lc or the herta store one and you'll be good. I think if you have a spare geppy lc running around you could also use that
And she'll always be better for a mono quantum team if you have SW since it'll be 4 quantum characters 100% chance to apply quantum weakness compared to having luocha on the same team with only a 75% chance

lets say your characer has 2000 hp and you lost 1000 hp, you get 80% hp back from the 1000 you lost so you get 800 health back putting you at 1800 hp and then you will heal back to full with fu xuans ultimate probably
She's too overrated and unnecessary to my account. My geppy and bailu are more than enough to sustain two separate teams and clear MoC. Easy skip.
There is a catch this signature is not universal only for characters which has auto healing.
Example march shield. Fu xian and even MC fire which has 5%healing from basic atk.
But if you give that to the gepard it will be pointless.
So overall signature looks very f2p friendly. However as we know not everyone gonna obtain her.
And who knows maybe you gonna change a tank later. So signature wont be matched.
Another think it is preservation card which means not so much requirement because what is today make a defensive character.
Harder is making offensive and he need more SN then defense or support.
Which means it decrease her valueable.

I've seen leakers where they use the ToM, ye sure it works, but unless you know what you're doing, it won't be comfortable with just ToM. Her sig have the highest base HP pretty significantly, which will adds up the more you have HP%, plus it gives ERR which probably would *comfortably* allow her to use HP rope, more HP, more potent healing and more frequent ult, on top of it alone heals every wave. And buff dmg, and another 24% free hp%. Basically it's an actual ez mode with Fu Xuan and her signature. Very worth it.
Screw all the current and future limited expendable dps characters.

Path of Preservation has alot of good lightcones for her. Her signature LC is great but like everyone else said Moment of victory, landau's choice, texture of memories, etc are viable. Fu Xuan by herself is already looking food at e0 anyway. You have alot to work with so don't worry. But just make sure you have HP% in your relic substats because thats what she scales with.

I love meta in almost any game that has stats. Being raised with Pkmn and then being exposed to the competitive side of that in both formats, it's almost bred into me at this point to care about meta.
