Barely toyed around with it . Checked out Dj mode today and it’s dope ….then It hit me that I may enjoy my new sp more than the mpc live. I downplayed the SP for a while now.. This is a great machine
Where is the sound coming from? The phone or through the SP404? I need to this this for sure! I believe you covered this once but can you go over how to connect the SP404 up via midi to an MPC2000XL or 3000 primary for baselines? Thanks
I have a question. What is scrolling the beginning and end of a sample like when using the SP with Koala? Is there a way to do a slow scroll like on the MPC sample chopper? All my controllers work with Koala in a weird way that moves the start and end points in a box rather than shortening / lengthening the sample. I hope someone has some insight
I just don't understand why Akai cant get on this wavelength or even circuit rhythm where we get an update every election cycle All i want is for them to make an update allowing us to connect the usbc already on the rhythm to be able to connect to the music apps i have on my phone. It would be a great mobile setup because i already use my rhythm as music sketch pad of sorts Theres definitely more they can add but it has so mucy potential so i keep it. The other company Akai needs to expand their Bluetooth capabilities to bluetooth comteoller modes for.phones, Ipads, and laptops to help with cord organization And also so that a Bluetooth keyboard can be used to control stuff like the MPC Live series
It desperately needs a simple method to copy patterns and samples between the 404 and koala in both directions. Currently it's a pain to do it and seams like a missed opportunity from the app developer.
Yeah this is crazy.
I love my mpc live 2.
But this is now the best compact mobile setup in my opinion.

experiment with the space designer reverb then add compression
The looper is sick but we gotta push for 100% feedback on all delays... They killed one of the best features the OG 404 had...
