Sorry to hear that you had a bad day 😟
Still managed too put out a great video tho!
Excellent tips and presentation! Careful about putting the brush in your mouth; not as much of an issue nowadays but my dad had a friend who got led poisoning painting old Ral Parthas and doing that.
I agree. You don't know what those pigments are. Cadmium and other nasty things can be in paint. Even brands like Vallejo. I've seen someone use a magnet on a Vallejo paint (Deep Sea Blue?) and it attracted the paint. Even if it won't make you sick in the amount you ingest, it's still not great to put those things in your body.
From where did you get this hoodie?
i like the outtro. sub or unsub. what ever xD
The middle tone approach is fastest imo, and paint the color that most of the model will be painted FIRST, paint all the main parts in a middle tone, if you dont like a certain color paint then you can change the color with the 2nd coat. After mid tones then you can use a wash and then use the dark tone to darken the model to your desire, you can always do another wash after, followed by adding highlights last, OPTIONAL: add a final wash followed by a final highlight color or even then add a fourth brighter color to do edge highlights. This process will only add more depth to your models and you can even use a flashlight to find the light parts of the model to add effects. You all can thank me with a like. ;)
Dislike. What is "fastest" for you may not be for someone else. Personally, I enjoy starting dark and building up. I find it is easier and faster for me to wrap my brain around. I also rarely use washes. They just don't vibe with my process. Plus, there's also more to painting miniatures than pure speed.
Nice! i hate 2 things about eavymetal style, 1) Highlighting every f*cking edge 2) Always using blue to highlight black, WHY!?
Nothing wrong with painting a model "good enough" varnishing it and coming back when you have more time or skill.
For the Algorithm!
Anyone who says there is only one way doesn't understand the whole concept of learning.
Of course in a nuclear reactor one should follow the steps but in such a way as creativity
narrow-minded thinking is counterproductive. Creativity is trying out what suits you best.
Just because it's your solution doesn't mean it's the general solution.
