    About us:
In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists - but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew - and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.

As an Italian, I just want to say that I really appreciate you guys talking about lesser known cities such as Ravenna. Italy is much much much more than the main attractions and we should do a better job to let the world know 😅

Thank you so much for all your useful informations. My husband and I traveled to Florence, Rome, and Sorrento in June and we had a fabulous time. Some hiccups with the ferries to and from Capri but in the end all's good.

Good advice you two. We stayed 10 days in Rome, 2 in Florence and 3 in Orvieto and Orvieto was a highlight of our trip. The pace was slower and there were almost zero tourists in March, it was a much needed break after the frantic pace of Rome and Florence. We also bought all our tickets online, thanks for that tip as well, we never waited in line for anything and we didn't have to carry a lot of cash with us.

    Hello.
Your videos are so informative & interesting.
    Thank you for making them.
I'll be travelling to Italy at the end of 2023, & plan to stop to Modena in early January (3rd or 4th) to visit a balsamic vinegar production site.
    Question:
    • Is there any particular place you recommend, that is not too difficult to get to from the train station?
    • Should I use a different train station?
    (not the main Modena station)
Any advice for visiting a good balsamic vinegar tasting / purchasing location, would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

      Hello there,
thank you so much for your comment. From the Modena train station you can take a short taxi ride (about 15 minutes) to Giusti in Lesignana, just outside the city. It is a wonderful Balsamic Factory with a fantastic tour that is also free. You will need to make a reservation for the tour and tasting. Let us know how it goes.

      Fantastic! Thanks so much.
      I'll try this place.
I can't wait for my 1st trip to Italy!
      SO excited.
I wonder if it might be OK to send you an email with a couple other questions about travelling in Italy on holidays, & the availability of trains, etc.
Please confirm if it's OK, & I'll send an email so I don't fill up this comments section w/ my personal questions.
Thank you for your quick response to my question about Modena.
      Warm regards.

@@TravelAddictsLife I do have a questions. On the guided tours for let’s say the colosseum, do you have time to stop and take pictures of yourself with the Sights at all? Do you feel it would be a better experience taking a guided tour or is it not needed? Thanks again.

    • @TravelAddictsLife
      @TravelAddictsLife  Před rokem +1

@kristinephanouvong3910 on a guided tour you have plenty of time to take pictures. A guided tour is great if you want to know the history of what are you visiting, plus guides usually give you some extra information

@@TravelAddictsLife hello, we will have ten day to “see it all” lol jk jk. I’m planning on starting on rome , Naples, Florence and Venice, time allowing maybe Venice. Or viceversa.

@lauramesa7757 in the winter Venice can be quite cold and you’ll need a jacket. It can also be a bit rainy. Rome and Florence will be cold but too cold. Naples can be warmer but also windier. Bottom line you’ll need a winter jacket and no shorts.
