      Yeah just takes a little longer. I bought a $35 rivnut tool from Amazon that came with a few size adapters and bags of rivnuts. It looks like small bolt cutters and takes just a few seconds. My dad has a pneumatic one that sounds like a full auto gun 😂

      The pneumatic tool is a rivnut gun aka rivet nut gun. He's using a drill adapter variant - so rivet nut drill adapter. Try AliExpress if Amazon doesn't have it. But I can assure you, the pneumatic variant is better until DeWalt or Milwaukee make an actual electric variant. I doubt its impact safe.

      Garbage. I've used a drill adapter rivet gun (not rivet nut) pnuematic tool out classes it by far with 100x less effort. That being said Milwaukee's rivet gun is amazing. No rivnut gun yet though

    • @Sassenhaim
      @Sassenhaim Před 3 lety

      We use "taruptara"system on metal those are riveted by a boltscrew machine.
      That machine has a hex bolt inside (alan key Nr.5) and uses those threads to pull the taruptara up so it is a blind riveted nut on which we bolt down a wooden plate.
      It expandes as the bolt gets pulled upward inside a small tube we weld on top of the outside strips.
      It's a part that becomes a hat shelf on a coat rack 😁🎩

      They do similar but different things. This always a nut to be interested so whatever is attached can be removed without drilling, but rivet nut guns allow you to put the nut were you can't normally reach (which is a similar time to usually use a rivet)
