Completely agree, this man made some of my absolute favourite songs ever, unlike that trap shit which is all autotune and random words.

@@thealphatheomega1188 Autotune is used everywhere in the industry. I agree. However, it doesn't make them a sellout. Firstly, Rag and Bone Man is clearly not mumbling into the microphone throughout the entire song. That's able to be distinguished from some other artists. Secondly, the live audio is clearly audible, and the backing track (if there is one) is not discernible. Thirdly, just because you have a record deal with a large corp doesn't make you a bad singer. Plenty of classical musicians have record deals. There's an Australian pop singer called Katie Miller-Heidke who is a classically trained opera singer. She sings pop music with operatic technique. You can't deny that certain 'sellouts' have pure vocal talent. For instance, Ariana- despite using autotune (as is the 'mandate' nowadays) she possesses incredible range, technique and tone. Rag and Bone Man has a unique rasp to his voice that makes it musically attractive and also possesses great tone. So your blanket statement is not true in many regards, and personally I don't think it applies to this artist. Other artists, perhaps.
