Not sure how this popped up in my recommended, but I'm glad it did. I loved this game from both sides. Good visuals, characters, atmosphere, and gameplay. I hope this game makes a comeback. Too bad Stage 2 never came to ps4 >.
Because it's relevant again, somehow some servers reopened and people are playing again... not sure if its legit, but I would ride the wave before it goes away.
personally in my experience Stage 2 is kind of bad and I never had any fun in it. Evolve i played heaps of and enjoyed every moment of it
@@blanc8842 stage 2 seems far more esports from watching this video. Not a huge fan. Too much info just handed to the players.

Listening to Behemoth move around reminded me how amazing the sound design was for this game. I started it up recently on PC, still getting used to it again.

It was taken off of the Steam store but for some reason they reactivated the servers for those that already bought it, just have to re-download it from the library.
Evolve, alongside Battleborn would do pretty well I feel, if they came out today as opposed to when they did.

It was ahead of its time, I think. Asymmetrical games weren't super popular.. I think it would do really well today.
this game needs more exposure and a second chance. so they might rethink on opening up the server again

@@korniestpatch Yeah they turned them back on. At least on pc. They didn't relist it on steam though, so unfortunately you had to already own the game.

In the past, players always went for the medic first (for obvious reasons) and some always made hunters follow them into close quarters fights
Evolve was so much fun, I loved every second of both sides,I hope they bring it back on consoles

@@Abraxas-fo7cq I actually don't understand the hook on DBD much, but 5min of Evolve and it's pretty clear to me I wanna try it myself. To bad this game came to be an outstanding example of mismanagement and bad faith, instead of the asymmetric PvP king.

God this brings back memories, loved playing wraith or whatever it was called, always made sure to avoid the hunters until I fully evolved and having to out think them

First monster with Max cd reduction was still my favorite one. Leaping around like a mad thing never got old
This have NEEDS to make a come back. It was amazing and only died because it was one of the first games on one and got one shadowed when the first party games came out.
Im so Happy that multiplayer is back on, I really hope they are planning on re-releasing the game. I sadly never got it due to not having a pc at the time.

Behemoth is still my favourite. Rock wall let's you "I'm not trapped in here with you..." a hunter and the obvious panic when they realise that is so tasty.

Honestly this is a amazing, that still has a lot of potential, especially if they make a evolve 2, that has a single player vs ai story mode with a conquest mode as well

Man, that Tongue Grab actually does quite a bit of damage. About as much as your Fissure was doing, and a lot more than the on-hit damage of Lava Bomb (although the burning of LB would eventually inflict more damage). The grab was putting in work downing hunters on its own.

Whenever i use to try and play it would just have my stuck on a repeating loop on the loading screen. I assumed it was cause no one played anymore. Did they make the servers live again or something?

Honestly in my opinion. This was the best 1 v 4 game on the market. I still think it was the best 1 v 4 game to date.
Honestly I forgot about this game but it looks fun.
I had a lot of fun playing Kraken. At one point I knew I was going to lose, so I just unleashed as much damage as I possibly could while standing my ground.

This game unfortunately was too ahead of it's time. If it had a battle pass instead of a million other micro transactions and made the hunters &monsters free updates from the start I bet this would still be a contender.

Maybe now the game will get the attention it’s always deserved. It started the 1v4 before the the craze started. Screw you DbD. I wish this still worked on consoles. All I can do is talk about this game to my best friend and think of when it was playable.

I love Behemoth & Wraith! I dont know what it is but I just find their design and gameplay so satisfying for completely opposite reasons
Good character design is what it is my friend. Effort was put into them, which is likely telling of why a lot of people want this game back given the state of games these days.
