yeah, I heard there is no English version but there may be one just in VHS form. since Wikipedia says An English DVD release was never made note how Wikipedia does not say An English version was never made. They also say that Afrikaans language DVDs are currently available in South-Africa. But get this they company that made this show nippon animation made another show Maya the Bee 1975 just a year before Pinnochio. And get this Two English-dubbed versions of the series exist, a South African version produced by Sonovision for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC),[7] using a translated version of the theme tune used for the German dub, and featuring English South African accents for the characters. So that means when Pinocchio was dubbed in South Africa, English dubs could have been made with the german theme. So there could be an English version somewhere. The best possible site to find this lost dub would probably be in South Africa via VHS or it could have been shown once and never shown again but who knows.
Ich sags ja, die neuen Zeichtrickserien können die alten 60er,70er,80er, liebevollen HANDGEZEICHNETEN Trickserien in keinem Fall ersetzen. Da sieht man wieder wieviel liebe und mühe diese erstellt wurden. Heute ist nur noch alles kalt und schnell schnell, nach Profit entworfen.
Als ich ein Kind war habe ich alle diese Serien gerne von Pinocchio geschaut. Und dass ist meine lieblings Serie❤❤❤❤❤
Heute bin ich 15 Jahre alt und es ist immer noch so schön wie früher😊😊❤. Manchmal wünsche ich mir wieder ein Kind zu sein😢

I saw this series when I was a kid. Not every episode, though. I'm from Finland. Unfortunately I don't understand German.
And I don't think they ever made an English version of this either!
