Lightbulb, the optimist she is, is prepared to ignore every frown and differing perspective to liven up the party! And there’s no better place to start than in Test Tube’s lab, where everything can and will go wrong! If she can surround herself in the chaos she loves, will she ever need to change- or will a trip back to the drawing board finally get to her?

Lightbulb has always really resonated with me as a character. She always tries her best to be positive even thought she gets carried away. I have ADHD and i can get distracted and overly excited about things, so her quirks really remind me of myself and my own struggles.
same, when i get excited i snap my fingers rapidly and when i search for a vid it’s like “what was i even trying to search????”. And when i get bored i just stare and think about stuff.

This aged well. It still hits hard as I remember....The feeling and emotion I get from Paintbrush's elimination is indescribable! The fact that Lightbulb gave up Baxter to Paintbrush was so heartwarming...But the fact that this elimination had me on the verge of tears is so shocking. Who knew that in such a short amount of time would a team such as AnimationEpic's cast so much emotion...It's not just any object show to be honest...it's an *object* show

I JUST REALIZED THIS MAY BE A METAPHOR FOR LIGHTBULB'S FEELINGS LET ME EXPLAIN
Lightbulb gets sad due to Paintbrush deciding not to be a team, and creates herself a new reality where everybody is like her, (which is shown with a ACTUAL different reality) so she wont have any arguments like she had with paintbrush. Test tube's breakdown is probably what Lightbulb thinks paintbrush thinks of her. OK THIS EPISODE MADE ME CRY THANK YOU

what hurt about this episode is that right when paintbrush felt fit-in, RIGHT when they had felt UNDERSTOOD, their emotional outburst led them to be eliminated. I believe painbrush has anger issues (which is probably obvious), and I know how it feels uncontrollable, so this just hurt the feels.

Not gonna lie...this has gotta be the most touching episode of II to date. The relationship between Paintbrush and Lightbulb is amazing and I love it, and Paintbrush's gender is finally touched upon --- and understood, no less --- by the most unlikely of candidates. It's also nice to see Lightbulb and Test Tube finally spend some time in the same scene and interacting, given the blatant contrast between their personalities. The way they interact is amazing and it, along with all the other carefully thought-out interactions, brings a whole new level of storytelling to the table not seen in more or less any other object show (that I've seen, anyway) to date.
You lot have done wonders for this show both aesthetically and as a narrative, and I'm very excited to see where y'all take it from here. It may take a while for each episode, but holy hell...especially for the past few episodes, it's been worth the wait every time.
...that said, I still have one question: What happened between Suitcase and Baseball? Unless it was about Nickel's elimination...

Fun fact: Frank and Hay-bale were originally meant to be contestants in Season 2, but were dropped during production, along with several other scrapped characters that never returned.
This show has turned into something beautiful. The characters, the animation, everything about this show is true beauty.

God this series has so much personality. I love this show almost more than anything. This show starts to care less about the show and more about how the characters feel, something most object shows have trouble doing. Each character feels like a person and indulging in this video brings me to a new world. It's a true master piece with animation, voice acting and everything else. I would kill to see episode 13. This show is definitely worth the wait.

Dang, this is what really sets Inanimate Insanity above other object reality shows, it isn't just random goofiness, even the characters specifically made to be funny get character development and depth, like, look at Knife, he started as a jerk with no personality aside it, but now he has a kindness that you don't even see in the purest of characters, he genuinely wants what's best for the others, and the interactions don't just feel like two emotionless walls talking, they're relatable, and you feel for them, you even feel a bit bad for Taco here, it's clear that she wanted to go back and fix a mistake

Oh, my, god. This is by far the most emotional elimination in any object show. The music sets the mood. And when Paintbrush looked back at Lightbulb, i felt that. This episode is emotionally impacted. No object show i’ve ever seen had such a great elimination before. The animation is spectacular, the music is great, and the story is creative. There is no other object show that makes you feel so many emotions like Inanimate Insanity. Everyone who worked on this episode did a fantastic job. The characters are like human, they have feelings. Inanimate Insanity went from a typical object show, but after episode 9, the characters showed more emotion towards each other. When Paintbrush was eliminated, I cried a little. I’ve never felt such emotion before at an object show. This is a great object show. No matter how many times i watch this episode, i feel for the characters.
This paragraph sums up exactly how I feel. At first, you think “oh just another light hearted object show,” but as you get further and further into the second season, it gets deeper.

This is personally my favorite object show episode, not just from Inanimate Insanity
I don't know how to use words to describe how much I love it, seeing that Lightbulb aside from being a 'funny' character has struggles and problems too that she just hides, and Test Tube accepting chaos leaving the patterns she follows to feel safe, it's just amazing, you can easily identify with these characters because they go through things like everyone, Paintbrush's struggles made me kin them

Ikr? I love the characters to death, all of them. They have so much personality now and the ending of this episode actually made me cry. I cant wait to see what happens next everytime. I know it may take a long time to create an episode but it's something I love over Bfb. The animation, drawings, and story are all great and it really gets you hooked. But don't get me wrong, Bfb is still amazing as well but honestly I still personally think all that time that it takes to craft each episode makes them something special.

There are literally tears pouring down my face right now. I don’t know if it’s just the depressing state of the world rn (as of June 2020) or just the fact the Painty and Lightbulb’s conversation about C was just so heartwarming, but I’m actually crying.
I almost _never_ cry when i'm watching something like this when something sad or whatever happens, and in games. Don't get me wrong, i still find things sad, but i can't relate to this.
Vladimir Yeah It was a little surprising, since I never cry at shows. Now looking back on it 2 months later, I think I just wasn’t expecting the whole symbolism and stuff, especially with the music “Just Like Me.” I find it very amazing how they were able to compare and contrast that LB was with ppl just like her, but in the end, it was her and painty’s differences which made them most alike. And the fact that they brought that reprise back in the elimination was so bittersweet, causing me to be emotional.

Is anyone going to mention the music for Paintbrush’s exit and credits? It sounds very emotional and hopeful. Knowing that Paintbrush isn’t going to be alone, and Lightbulb, TestTube, and Fan will be waiting.
It feels like your heart is feeling dizzy from the beauty. And the lyrics! It feels very powerful, it shows how Lightbulb and Paintbrush’s relationship has been amended. Now accepting who they are and their reality.

Owwie. It hurts to see Paintbrush be eliminated, especially after Lightbulb just figured out their gender. Especially when it pretty much wasn’t their fault. It’s pretty obvious they have anger issues.

I can say, with certainty, that this is the greatest object show of all time. No other object show makes you feel for each of the characters as much as this one. Every characters personality is so distinct and unique. It creates a fantastic blend of vibes. The character development is better than most television shows. This deserves to be on Cartoon Network. Keep up the amazing work, Adam. You can never rush a masterpiece.

I still love the ending. Well, 'both' endings. I REALLY liked the ending before the credits when Paintbrush was eliminated, it just felt like Lightbulb and Paintbrush got closer as friends. And the part with Salt and Pepper basically saying 'A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A A' WAS TOO FUNNY.

Has it really been two years? Holy smokes. I think about this every now and then because I named a hermit crab after Baxter and he's still alive and well- crazy how time flies. also seeing taco want to go back makes me wonder why... most people would think that its because of the prize and that taco wants to have a 2nd chance at it and maybe win... but i don't rly think so, i think that taco wanted to go back for another reason, regret, taco literally demolished pickel and her friendship by only a few words and i think she regrets that with all of her little evil British heart. she mostlikely wants to go back and change what she did and instead of betray them, she could live in the hotel with them and have a happy life without heartbreak and regret..
