I just hope more players come to the game. I don't want to fragment the player base. They seriously need to get cross play, so we can have better matchmaking with more people
The problem with that is the player market on all platforms all have different values for item.
So, bringing console would either increase all the items prices severely in the market or severely decrease in value for console players.

Yeah with this game mode being in the game for a long time pvp is defo going to be a issue. Going to have not filled games ….
Crafting with discontinued resource (casings for piercer) and pack only items is the death of crossout.
Casings will be returning. They hinted at it in the Livestream.

3:20 basically, damage decreases with further distance in explosions usually (known as damage dropoff, also exists in other games like darktide)
basically, you normally receive 100% damage at the center of explosion, 50% on half the radius and 0% at the full radius, but with the perk, you get full damage all the time, so not directly hitting doesn’t nerf the DPS that much

The cabin's wallhacks work with your detection radius. So, I assume, if you can see the enemy on your minimap (without the help of your allies), then you can see them with the skill.
They should make easy/normal/hard raid type of battles that allows helicopters
If you go to rewards for the season, you can see crafting is the tab to the right. They do have to be unlocked as you progress up the season.

That AA autocannon looks very op. And I mean in regular ground battles...
I can see it now... All the meta spiders and hovers with these extremely well protected...
+ would be good or also op on a flying build.
My birthday is coming up in November so i'll treat myself to the BP. Only because I loved flying last year.

I looking for planes to make there way into the game it seems the devs hinted to it talking about the nomads knowledge of knowing the sky raiders would come and nomads already having plane parts and cabins maybe not but i expect to see nomad planes flying around in the future of the game.

you could test flaire by doing a custom game in the game center with shared build that have pyre and flair with some bot that shoot you to test flair
Now i can since the update is live but when recording this video i could not since i could not use other accounts but they work pretty well

Awesome rundown. Wish they added helicopters into the current battles instead of separate. Would add an awesome change to gameplay. Just increase the elevation of the weapons we already have and let the fun begin.

Nooooo dude. Since they lock helis behind a paywall they should NOT put this in the normal game mode. (Sure u get the blue one for free, but I can almost guarantee that it's gonna suck and you're gonna want the epic ones anyway.)
Hmm yes, hovers remained overpowered for years and still are the best performing movement part in the game.
Lets add something that is 1000x worse in terms of balance to all normal games, WOOHOOOO!
I for one can't wait to see how this scam of a game dies in the same fashion as Robocraft did with its "flyers".
So i was right, the blue rotor that you get for free really does suck. Sure you can do 3k PS with it, but that's about it really unless you want to be very sluggish. The gamemode actually turned out great though (if you're playing as a heli with your friends, otherwise it's miserable xD).

Rifting off ammo boxes going to be great again like back in the reaper copter days.
Why would you rift ammo boxes? What does that do?
After the ammo is depleted you get rid of the box so you don't get it blown up and cause damage to your vehicle. It also makes you lighter and more maneuverable.
@@colbystehl2087 Interesting, so when you deplete the "extra ammo" that the ammo box gives you, then you can just rift it off and you don't lose any ammo?
As long as you drop below the level that the ammo box provides then yes. If an ammo box is rifted or destroyed sooner your ammo amount drops to the base level your guns give you so if you are at or below that level your ammo box is doing nothing except being an explosive liability.

I'm a new player and your videos have been very educational. I'm liking the game so far, but they could really slow down with the microtransactions.
A regular BP, mini BPs AND a Premium subscription is honestly ridiculous. The whole mini BP should be a free event without the option to pay for levels, and the regular BP should include Premium. This is the first game I play where you don't actually get XP and loot boosts included in the BP.
It's a fun game, but I bet more players would be interested if it was less greedy.
Sadly that won't happen. I watched a video about whales and wallet warriors and this game is basically made for those players and that is also their main income it seems like. As long as they keep them happy the money will keep rolling in.

Right now they're pretty OP. It's an auto-cannon with the firing rate of a machine gun, plus splash damage with no dropoff. I guess it needs to be that way in order to easily hit the helicopters that it's meant to counter, but unless they fix the elevation to ~25º angle minimum so you can't shoot straight forward, I see very little reason to use other rapid-fire weapons.

Does your vehicles have to be over 30m for it to work or does the minelayer itself have to? Can you stick it up on a tall tower build and have it work?

i’ve just got back into the game on ps5 and i’ve noticed whenever im on a game all my inputs are laggy like driving and shooting etc. every other game runs fine and i usually sit below 20 ping. is this a widespread issue or is mine just laggy
wow with 20ms ping you should not feel any delay at all. they changed how everything feels with the 2.0 update but that was a while back now. My ping is always 120 so things have always felt delayed for me XD
so since we can craft the blue helicopter blades, this means we will be able to play vs flyers in any game mode?
this isen't just a mere introduction like hovers was, this is worse?!

We have to address the control schematic problem! Flight needs a dedicated control schematic. Throttle shouldn't be paired with tilt! When wheels are engaged driving controls. When flight engaged.. Flight controls! To really be able to fly like a boss we NEED dedicated flight controls! Throttle up throttle down tilt look all separate. I want to be able to hover! It's a helicopter! Throttle shouldn't make you tilt forward and move forward. I can't just tilt back and reverse! I can't just go straight up! This is huge! I should be able to swing sideways and go up or down at the same time using throttle. If anyone wants to know how helicopters should fly for battle.. Play Just Cause 3 or 4 the helicopters fly like they should and with that kind of control, now people can fly like professionals. Instead I'm flying like a sick bug bouncing off the light. Please JB make a video on this so that they might address this problem. It's huge!

First thing they should give once you unlock the helicopter slot is a tutorial. It took me a while to realize that holding spacebar makes you hover, and it took me even longer to realize that there's no reverse (aside from weapon recoil which does push you back while firing). I don't know if it's an overlook or if they made the controls hard on purpose for balancing, since being in the air *is* an advantage all things considered...
Auto cannon looks balanced. Played the same sort of way as the yokai. Going to need a bit of skill to be affective.

That would be awesome. One one build right now im running 2 cyclones and 1 stillwind on a catalina cabin and loving it. But if the new aa auto cannons are better than cyclones I can have spare energy to use for other things on the build@@JBRider

Yeah the flares kinda suck you need to have a light build and move around fast while flraring but you will still have a 50% chance of getting hit

Between the Spark/Flash, Griffon cab, Chameleon, Argus, and the new flares, All homing missiles will be completely useless... More than they already are! Besides, not a single person in this game has ever "dominated" using Hurricanes. 🤣🤣

homing rockets (pyres) was my best air option. Now seems completely countered. I mean the cloak, argue, sparky-flash already countered homing rockets.
But maybe early on we can dominate

It probably be a engine or module that a jet engine and wings be movement part for steering. They might have to change how rocket modules work.
But I don't see planes being a thing for a few thing.
1 way bigger maps
2 planes will be very difficult to hit for ground vehicles
3 planes going 300mps will be difficult to control
