When I have days that aren't going well, I love to re organize my closet or drawers. It allows me to think and see fast results. I read that "Clutter is the product of postponded decisions", and I re-read that phrase everyday. It is posted to my computer. You made great use of every inch of room. I see that you hung a mirror in the closet too. thanks for being ALmost perfect. :)

How about a closet organization video for people with NORMAL closets. Like one bar across the top with a shelf above it.
I know right I mean I like her videos but not everyone has a closet like this I have a very small closet with hooks on the door and a shelf drilled into the wall

No judgements of course, but you know, just saying. I have literally 8 pairs of shoes including flip flops...I must be abnormal. haha

Yes! I always say "I'm going to clean my room today,I'll watch some videos to inspire me!😇"then I end up being lazy and just watch these videos and wish I was them...or had their room..😭

Ocd is sooo much more then organizing.... it bugs me that people see this and say oh its ocd.. i am a mom to a preteen with ocd, i am in a support group for ocd and organizing is only maybe 10% of the problem.

For a teen who also has OCD, I feel the need to thank you for actually noticing how big of a problem the disorder causes us; you're a great parent for keeping up with the different situations it puts us in. :)

My mom is a hoarder, of her 5 girls, 1 is OCD, 1 tries, and 3 of us collect things that we don't need, I did the bathroom drawers yesterday and today you helped me do the pantry, you are heaven sent!!! Being organized at her level costs some money. It helps to have a fabulous house and the beautiful closets spaces she has. I wonder if she and her husband built this house and she designed all the closets and cupboards. Her videos are very valuable because if we take one or two ideas from her to make our lives easier it's very helpful. You don't have to have a beautiful mansion to have a neat and organized house, apartment or dorm room. When you are organized your life becomes easier. You don't have to look for things, you end up creating more space and your space it's nice to look at. Think, when you are organized, you'll know if someone has been in your stuff. This young lady has taken this to another level. Great for her. I'm very organized at home and at the office. What you are at home will transfer at your work or at your business. Being a slob doesn't pay.
I love colour organizing my closet... in the summer I do light to dark because I wear more white and colours and winter dark to light

I think girls are just simply jealous that they aren't organize maybe that's why they leave hateful comments. Thx to u I redid my closet and believe me it took around 1 1/2. I went by hanger color. At the same time I declutter. It felt so good. It's done. All o have to do is keep it the way it is.
I'm so happy you switched to the velvet hangers. They are such a space saver and keeps the clothes from falling on the ground. I enjoy watching your channel Alejandra.

I love this video. I used the idea of having colour-coded tags on each hanger to separate by category, it really helps. I made them myself, cutting small strips of post-it notes and cello-taping them to the hanger.

How can I best use the shelf space? I moved recently and now I have a small walk-in closet with one rod to hang things and one shelf above.
It’s a rental apartment . I don’t want to spend a lot of money and I can’t damage the walls.
I have a plastic drawer underneath the rod now but the shelf space above seems like a poor use of space. I mean there should be another shelf above it bc there is room for it but they always install only one rod with a shelf above it.
Any ideas how I can make the most of the one shelf, I mean, from just piling my sweaters, shirts, tops, up on it.

I am trying to upcycle my wooden hangers after switching over to the huggable ones. I made one into a necklace hanger using small screw hooks screwed into the bottom.

I have just transformed my sons t-shirt drawer using an Eagle Creek folder from one of their pack-it folders that I have. It looks amazing and there is so much more space! Thanks for the idea.

I would like to discourage anyone from using the adjustable tension rods in drawers and cabinets. They are made to push against the sides of bottom top and can weaken the drawers and cabinets over time.
Yeah, cool idea but it's flawed. If possible buy or make something to fit your particular space.
Lindie Lee I totally agree, unfortunately this happened to mine. They would definitely weaken Ikea draws more so as well.
Yep. I bought those several years ago when I still lived at home. Noticed the back and front of my armoire drawer was pushed out in the back and front of it. Now that my apartment has its' own dresser drawer, I was tempted to buy it again but didn't want to ruin my new dresser drawer just to keep organized. Not sure what other dividers work that won't push and damage your dresser drawers.
I'm sure you'll find something out there, be creative and happy hunting.

+Schonbek Glazer Yeah. This is how you can keep everything organized. Same here, only with 2 purses, 4 bras and 10 pairs of socks. Much easier to maintain. Also I prefer natural scents, eg. lavender essential oil drops to a cotton bud, they are enough in drawers. :) Aren't there too much of fragrances in our lives already (fabric softener, perfumes, scented shower gel,...) ?
